Look. I understand that Admins have a hard time keeping up with things on gaia since they do a lot of rennovations and site improvements, but that doesnt account for a breakdown in staff control.

If anyones experienced having a problem with gaia, be it hacking, scammed, wrongly banned or something less major, im sure you'll all agree that trying to get something done about it is like drawing teeth.

Theres never anyone with any knowledge on time. No offense to anyone, but most higher staff seem to be from America and thats no good to people on the other side of the world since theyre never online at the same time.

I also understand that theres a lot of complaints, so there is a backlog of problems.

Then why not enrole more staff as Mods and Omnimods.
There certainly need to me more omni mods because if you ever speak to a normal mod with a problem its always, im sorry but we do not have the power to do (enter resolved problem), contact an omnimoderator.

The other thing is that theres so few gaia staff that can help, when you get a response from them its often irritated and sometimes quite rude and unhelpful. If somethings wrong and your upset about it, the last thing you need is some bitchy mod to pm you and say get lost, i cant do anything about it.

In conclusion, Gaia needs more empowered Mods and omnimods to deal with gaia users problems.

This is precisely the sort of thing im talking about.
Like i said i know not all mods etc are especially grumpy. Louize is exceptionally nice. But some Urgh, dont get me started. And they all give the same advice, fill in a form and wait. Well you fill in the form and you wait and nothing gets done. Some say because theres a backlog...Who knows. And if you tell them, ive already done that... Numerous of times, they dont have anymore ideas and tell you to bugger off. Unless its about a new site feature theres hardly any feedback from staff to users about major problems. Recent hackings being one.

I've spoken with 4 different mods before, and I do agree with you 3 of those were incredibly rude. I understand there's alot of problems that happen and a 1000 times more people complaining about it, but still I feel that customer service should be a priority.

But their should be some more mods, to help get things done in a quicker manner and to releive some of the stress or whatever it is that is with the mods we have now.

Im not saying they have no reason to be rude, it must be very difficult. But its not hard to see this would happen, theres thousands of users on gaia and only a handful of mods. There needs to be a better Staff to user ratio. And maybe it could be updated every year depending on the progress of gaia per year.

The mods I've talked to the last 2 days have been really nice and really helpful to me. I'm guessing we didn't talk to the same people.

Agreed. More mods would be nice. ^^
