Akina is sitting at her desk again as Cassiopeia sways in her hair. A glass of water sits off to the side, and Akina is holding a paper in her grasp. She flips open her journal and takes a long sip of water.
All day today, all I've been craving is water. I must be dehydrated.
A cough echoes out from Akina's throat, and she takes another sip. As the glass nears her lips, the feather in her hair blows forward as if it is trying to get to the glass. Quirking an eyebrow, Akina removes Cassiopeia from her hair and places the glass of water in front of her. Thinking for a moment, she picks up the fenthry and places it, tip first in the cup. She laughs this time, picking up her pen to write more.
Well, that was strange. I guess Cassie was thirsty too. I had a glass of water out, and she kept pulling herself towards it. Odd...
Actually, I don't feel very thirsty anymore either.
Everday, I learn something new with my little girl. I can't wait until she emerges from the feather. I want to teach her to speak! Oh, we could have such lovely conversations.
Akina taps the glass of water with the tip of her pen.
I think I'll let her sleep in the glass of water tonight. She seems to like it. Maybe I'll take her to the beach when she finally reveals herself to me.
Oh, and I got my membership card into the Fenthry Perservation Society.

It feels nice to be a part of something like this.
A light purring is heard in the corner as a green cat-like creature hops up into Akina's lap. She smiles and strokes its fur.
Verde can't wait to see Cassiopeia either. I was shocked when I felt this little bundle moving in my messenger bag. She hatched so much earlier than I expected. It was a pleasant surprise though.
Well, the sun set a long time ago so it's off to bed with me.
Akina turns off the lamp and picks up Verde and the glass of water holding Cassiopeia. She sets the glass by the bed and lets Verde snuggle under the covers.
"Goonight, you two."
