User Image.....Long ago, in the time of Kings and Knights, vampires were something that no one believed in. The came together to form groups, which frightened humans gave the same name they gave groups of witches: Covens.
.....Now, in the modern era, vampires are things of popular fiction and Hollywood horrors. At least, that's what most people think...
.....True vampires still exist, hiding amongst humans, acting as one of them. The Devil's Workers acting as God's Children. A threat from the inside.
.....Most Vampires are now loners, or keep to small groups. They never form the old covens of before...
.....But here....

User Image.....The Coven runs from 'Home', a nice large manor in a rich neighborhood. It's close to nature on one side, and a large, bustling city on the other.
.....The Manor has three stories above ground, and two beneath. The main level has a kitchen and various recreation rooms. The second up, a meeting hall (where the Coven meets when needed) a few storage rooms, and a music room that is filled with various instruments and the likes. The third floor consists of three rooms: a storage room, and two old bedrooms. The first basement is almost crypt-like. Completely dark when not lit, this entire level is the coven's 'bedroom', and comes with a wide selection of 'beds' - from actual four-poster beds to good old-fashioned coffins. The last level has various forms of entertainment; a pool, bowling lanes, a gym area, a mini-movie theatre and another kitchen.

User Image.....Alright, so vampires are a bit of a touchy subject. There's no real set rules when it comes to what they can and cannot do, what can and cannot hurt them. Here, the rules of the great Anne Rice will apply. In case you've never read an Anne Rice novel, here's come basics:

arrow Vampires are not hurt by Holy Water, crosses, or garlic. No "THe Power of Christ Compels You!' here. Sorry.
arrow Vampires cannot go in the daylight. They are nocturnal. They will burn in a bright and painful firey death if they even try. i don't mean that if they barely touch sunlight they'll die; they'd just get burned if it's a few seconds. Give it a minute, though, and your character is dead... uh, dearer.
arrow Vampires will die without blood. No-duh.
arrow Vampires are, technically, dead. The cannot eat or drink anything but blood without upsetting their bodies. They cannot reproduce. No making babies.
arrow Put the [cheese] emoticon in your Other Section so I know you read this part. ^^

arrow [On the same note as the last Not] Vampires do breathe. No, really, they do. They may be dead, but their hearts still beat, and for their hearts to beat, there has to be some breathing.
arrow Vampires have very heightened senses, far beyond those of humans.
arrow They also have super-human strength. They can jump very high, run very fast. Think the strength of Superman, here. But that doesn't give you an excuse to GodMode.
arrow Vampires are somewhat empathic. I.O.W., they can sense others' emotions and thoughts. The only exception to this is that a vampire cannot sense the emotions/thoughts of vampires they have created.
arrow A vampire's strength comes with age; The older the vampire, the stronger it is. A fledgling's strength will vary, according to its maker's strength (Strong Maker=Strong Fledgling).
arrow A new-made vampire is a fledgling. Kind of like a baby chicken is a chick. Get it? Got it? Good.
arrow To make a human a vampire, the vampire must drain the human of nearly all of her/his blood, then the human must drink some of the vampire's blood. A rather unpleasant process of death follows, and then vampire-ism.
arrow Put the [heart] emoticon in your Other section so I know you read this part. ^^

Dylan is a very odd person, and prides himself on being weird, random, and even evil. Finaly out of the house and making a living for himself, he loves getting out more than he did when he was younger and has even taken up three different martial arts training. He doesn't care for the past or the future very much and takes things as they come. Lately he has become more interested in vampires though if a choice was given he would be a werewolf (though he beleives neither exist). Naturaly a night person, he loves to go on long walks at night and beating up the occasional would-be mugger. His prized possesion is a springloaded wrist blade like the one lucian had on underworld, though he hasn't been able to afford a second yet.

An old vampire by the name of Louis.

Gabriel is the son of Cecilianna and a man named Dante. He was born to human parents, but all his life he was raised amongst vampires. His mother had been turned when he was a baby, and he was raised amongst her coven, the only human he ever really knew being his father.
And he never knew anything different. It was normal to him to live amongst these creatures that other humans called 'evil', which he never understood. He accepted them as people, never truly understanding the whole of their beings. As he grew, along with his mother, he became very fond of their coven leader, one by the name of Louis. He admired the vampire's skill, for Louis was posed as the village physician, and even agreed to be his apprentace.
But, at the age of twelve, everything changed. His home, his entire village was burned to the ground by a vampire hunter. Trapped inside the burning mansion of his mother's father, he would have died had not Louis saved him. He was taken far away, and there turned. He never understood why Louis had done it. In doing so, the man had broken one of the most important 'laws' that had been set down by vampires of old: Never turn the weak, never turn a child.
It wasn't long before the coven that was his family regathered, missing five of it's members. And his father. His mother stopped speaking, stopped hunting all together for a few days. And he tried to comfort her. He didn't know what happened to his father, but he knew his mother had loved him more then anything.
His 'family', though, woul come to an end. As time wore on, some of them went mad, danced into the flames as ritual claimed them. Some wandered away, to be seen now and then with a friendly talk. Louis left, with the promise to find him again once he could keep the boy's promise of apprentaceship. And in the end, he left his mother in search of the man.
It was years and years before he found Louis. Their friendship instantly renewed, he became his apprentace like promised. But as times changed, it was hard to continue on in that manner. Louis eventually gave up his job. The two took to wandering the world.
And one night, as they passed through a city, a thought struck Louis. "Go visit your mother." He said to him. "Stay with her a while. You will learn."

Dante was the actor son of a blacksmith who fell into an unfortunate fate. He lived in a town run by the King's brother, Charles was his name, where he fell in love with Charle's daughter, Cecilianna. The two held a secret relationship, were married, and eventually had a son, Gabriel. Of course, no one knew the two were married, or even that they loved eachother. Cecilianna became a sort of new Virgin Mary to the people of the village, and that, along with many noblemen trying to court cecilianna, almost caused many problems. But Dante stepped into the courting role, and the two eventually married, in the eyes of the people.
And then Cecilianna was turned. Dante insisted she was just the same as before, continued to love her. And they were happy together, a little three person family. When Cecilianna was picked up by a 'coven' in the area, his son and he kept with her. They were accepted by the vampires, and the group was almost a family in its own right.
And then the vampire hunters came. They burned the town in the middle of the night, causing a ton of chaos. Worried about his wife, whom he believed was in the burning mansion of his father-in-law, he ran in to find her. He was never exactly sure what happened then, but the next thing he knew he was hearing a guard screamnig something about Cecilianna, and vampires, and then he awoke to find himself outside the city, with one of the coven's members, Celeste Adora, and he was a vampire himself.

An old vampire, who left him to fend for himself near a small village. Ignacio Dracul was his name.

He was turned at the age of twenty, and after his maker had left him, he slowly warmed to his new life. He managed to stay out of the sun for his first few years, hiding in caves, or old houses. He fed on the populace of the village, taking only what he needed, and leaving the bodies in the village to be buried. He slowly developed his skills and powers, slowly developing into the deadly vampire he is so long later. Soon, he traveled to a new village, and hired one of the local builders to create a small house for him. He fed on a nearby village, not wanting to arouse suspicion in his new domain. Not much is known after this, but he reappears almost suddenly in the modern day, many people suspect he traveled, and accumulated his immense wealth. He resides in a mansion, very close to the city. He keeps his vampirism a secret as best he can, and does a very good job of it. The only ones who know of it are his victims, and they don't talk much.

The night was like most. The moon shawn bright and full. The trees swayed in the cool nights whisps of wind, which made the leaves and litter on the ground dance. It was cool but not cold, just right as some might say. Not for Willow.
Willow couldn't feel much of anything. She hasn't been able to for eighty three years now.
Her raven black hair whipped around her head with the blowing wind. Her plaid school uniform style skirt danced in the breeze. Her sigh was carried away in the air.
Will had been searching ever since he left. She didn't hate him or even regreted what had done to her. It was a way for them to be together. Maybe he didn't see it that way...
Her shoes made a soft clicking sound as she walked down the steert to the movie rental store where she worked the night shift. The sun had just gone down and the wramth of the sun was still in the proccess of being carried off and replaced with the night's cold.

||I hope you don't mind me taking over the current time... And here a oatmeal rasin cookie... *Dusts it off and hands it to Yuki||

A cool breeze blew by Dante sending cool chills down his neck. It didn't matter to him though. He was already cold but it didn't bother him. Like every other night this was where Dante would come. Just sit on top of the Sphere hotel building with only the solid gargoyles to keep him company. His golden eyes stared curiously down below at the mortals below while having one leg dangling off the edge and the other on the edge with his arm resting on it.
It seemed like it was a million years ago when he himself was a normal human. Then the next thing he knew he was a walking corpse with no memory of how he came to be. Yet again that didn't bother him. All that mattered was enjoying his time on Earth even though he had forever.
With a short sigh, Dante looked up at the sky and stared for several long moments at the moon. Blankets of stars covered the dark sky and he began to look for certain constellations. There was Tarus, his favorite for some reason. Maybe because it was a bull, a sign of aggressiveness, power, and stubborness. Almost like Dante himself.

Cecilianna sat on the balcony that led off of the music room. She had a very old violin in her hands, quietly tuneing it. She hummed to herself as she worked, watching the very last of the suns rays disappear over the horizons.
Finally, she took the bow of the violin and held it in the air for a moment. She brought it down on the strings suddenly, creating a resonating note that seemed to echo forever. She smiled a bit, setting the violin next to her. She sighed, looking up at the sky. She tried to count howmany times in her life she'd just sat there most of the night, staring at the stars. She couldn't remember. The stars seemed as endless as she was. BUt they were probably happier. They could shine day or night...
"Last year's wishes ar this year's apologies every last time I come home."
She sang, her humming finally forming to words. Her voice was soft, yet had an echoing quality to it that bounced off the walls easily. She seemed to become completely wrapped up in her music; every note seemed to be sun with meaning.
"I take my last chance to burn a bridge or two. I only keep myself this sick in the head 'cause I know how the words get you. We're the new face of failure; prettier and younger, but not any better off. Bullet proof lonliness at best, at best...
