Hello, welcome to the Firebird's Lair. Here we breed our rare firebirds and sell them for pets. Amazing creatures they are. Firebirds make excellent bondpets as they are intelligent and have strong magical powers. They also have a long lifespan and can be passed down generations. See the owners list for more samples

F.A.Q.

1. Are they breedable?
As of right now, no. Many people have asked so most likely in the future they will be.
2. My firebird hasn't updated like it said it would.
Ok sorry. s**t happens. Make sure to check the News to see if i've been having problems. But if its been over a week late then please post in the thread and I'll have the problem fixed asap.
3. The bird doesn't fit in my random sig can you fix it.
I have the same problem. I'll work on this eventually. I know the size is too big.
4. How many can we own?
You can own an unlimited amount of firebirds, the only exception is with the rares. You can own as many rares as you like but you many only own one type of rare. (ie. You can own a bleeding heart rare and a halloween one but you cannot own 2 halloween ones)
5. Can I buy one for my friend?
Yes you may, that is why there is a spot for the owner's name on the form.

I will no longer send you a pm with the code for your bird you must come here to pick up the code. These will be direct linked to my site so please remember to keep the code. And when the time comes i'll just update the image and you'll wake up the next morning with a new bird. Ok well not a new bird...but it will have just slighly grown. Once they reach adult stage you must save that image, I will keep it up for a week but after that it'll go down. </center>

*This is also considered the d.o.b. We have harvested this egg for a few weeks and this stage only lasts one week.
Stage Two: Growing Egg User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

*Yes, still the egg but now the egg is starting to hatch and you see a crack beginning. Depending on your bird, this lasts 3 to 4 days.
Stage Three: The Birth User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

*Finally the egg hatches, and you can see the firebird trying to get out. Again depending on how strong your bird is this can take from 2-5 days

*Aww isn't it cute? Just learning how to fly. This lovely chick takes time to grow. Each firebird is slightly different, its growth depends on its strengh and intelligence. It can take anywhere from 1-2 weeks for it to reach adult

Intro
Unknown to many, the Firebird is not the same as a Phoenix. if you're paying attention and looking for the free gift click here. They are two separate mythical beasts. Firebirds are rather colorful and not the assumed colors of fire; red,orange,yellow. Firebirds are actually nocturnal creatures as this tends to be an excellent time to raid orchirds for fruit. The bird is quite bright and can illuminate the land that is passes over giving it a fire like appearance. Hence the name.
Firebirds like sweet juicy fruits. This will often get wild Firebirds in trouble as they steal fruit from wealthy farmers. Their favorite food is cherries.
They also have beautiful singing voices which can put anyone to sleep if the that is the bird's intentions.

The Lair
During a trip to Russia, the homeland of the Firebird I came across the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. But before that I was traveling on foot and I just happened to get lost in a forest. Well I found a berry bush and decided to camp there for the night and during my uncomfortable sleep on the ground I was awoken by a bright light. I opened my eyes to see a blinding light creeping through the cracks of the bush as well as illuminating the whole area. I, still being groggy assumed it was a person with an extremely bright lantern. So I suddenly stood up and said hello. I was surprised to see a beautiful colored bird nibbling on berries. But I startled it and it shot up into the night sky and disappeared so quickly I wasn't even sure if it was there at all. But when the bird left it must have got caught in the berry bush as there was two feathers left behind. One was glowing a golden light while the otherone was broken and no longer glowed. I left the broken one where it was...but I was compelled to take the glowing feather. I really didn't want to attract unwanted creatures with the light so I tucked it under my tunic and slept the rest of my night rather peacefully.
When I woke in the morning it seemed that my luck has changed. I found the road in no time and I was off to the next town. But when night rolled around again I took out the feather and just staired at it. The longer I looked at it the more I wanted to go back to that forest and look for the bird again. But I knew I wouldn't be able to find that berry bush again. I went to sleep...but it was a restless one as all I could dream about was the bird. The eyes pierced through my soul and the bird seemed to be speaking to me but I couldn't make out the words.
After that night and several other, I made my way back to the forest. After searching every bush I could find I made my way back to the very berry bush I slept by a few nights past. The broken feather was gone...but the pull in my heart told me it was the right spot. I spend night after night there but no sign of the bird. The dreams got worse and I thought that I might be going insane. But one night I arrived later than usual and caught the end of the birds song which made me a little sleepy but for the most part I was alert with excitement.
But how could I keep the bird from running off? Well I couldn't, but I decided I'd try to approach it...and bribe it. I pulled some strawberried out of my bag and rolled them in the direction of the bird.
The bird was startled but seemed to contemplate what to do before taking the strawberries. I still wasn't sure if I should actually leave my cover and try to get closer...but that was solved for me.
The bird glowed really bright to the point where I couldn't see the bird anymore...and slowly the shape started to change. What once was a bird was now a woman. The most beautiful woman i've ever seen.
"You do not need to hide from me. I know you have my feather and I can see into your soul."
I walked slowly to meet her by the berry bush.
"Thank you for the strawberries, although I prefer cherries, they are afterall the favorite food of the Firebirds," she said.
"Firebirds...is that what you are," I asked.
"Yes, I am one of many kinds. I am a nightstar one of the scarse breeds. My name is Freyja."
We talked for some time and I learned that their kind was becoming extinct as the birds were forced into hiding in order to escape become slaves or pets.
"I need your help," she pleaded. "I am afraid for my children, and I wish to make sure that our breed will live on."
I nodded and said, "I understand your feelings, but what can I do to help?"
"I need you to protect my children, raise them and find a safe haven for them to grow up in."
I shook my head. "But surely they are better off with their mother."
She sighed and the look on her face almost brought tears to my eyes. "I cannot protect them. Nor can others. There are many others out there who wish to adopt their children so that they may lead a better life. I'm sure you'll be able to take care of them...or pass them on to those who can."
The night ended and I made my way back to the town. It was decided that in 2 weeks time I would venture back into the forest to pick up 2 eggs. Freyja's children.
After that i've made many visits back to Russia. Freyja's feather has given me the ability to speak with other Firebirds and with her magic they trust me. In each visit I find a new breed to bring back home and at the Firebird's Lair we breed them in order to ensure their survival. And when there is an abundance of eggs they are adopted out to trusting people to take care of.
