General
These cats are just that-- cats. They're domestic, household pets. They can be RP-intensive or not, depending on your own preference; logs are always available if you want one, and the RP board is open to everyone. If you don't want a log, or to RP, you can still participate in everything else. WARNING: If you do not participate in anything, no roleplay, no visiting the board at least a little, and just let your kitten or cat sit, you MUST ask me to freeze your cat's happiness, or it will be TAKEN AWAY for neglect.
Logs
Logs are an optional part of the RP experience. They're basically for developing your cat's personality and traits further. You can put in the log anything you'd like-- visit the existing logs for awesome ideas.
Special Events
Special events may occur on this board, the roleplay board, or in your log. They can include random stat boosts, free extras for your pet, and much more. However, if you do not participate in anything, you will not recieve any special events.

Stages
Kitten:: Kittens of the same breed types/fur lengths look very much the same (templates, but there are about 20 of them anyway XD). During this stage, the kitten depends on you almost completely-- how you treat him or her may effect his or her temperament for the rest of the the cat's life. On the whole, they're friendly and playful. Cats stay kittens for around 1-2 weeks.
Adult:: Adults, unlike kittens, are all completely unique. He or she may look very different from their kitten stage depending on how you treat/what items you give him or her. But after a kitten becomes an adult, it's image most likely will not change(see below), and it's temperament usually will not change dramatically. However, at this stage you may breed your cat and participate in cat shows.

Beauty:: Not shown, this effects how well you place in shows, and how pretty the offspring is.

Stud:: A male cat up for breeding (for a price)
Dam:: Mother of the cat, or a female cat up for breeding (for a price)
Purebred:: A cat who is of a certain breed and not more than one
Smoke:: A black cat with an undercoat of white
Points:: Colour on the face, ears, tail, and/or paws
Lilac:: Bluish/purplish-grey
BIS:: Best in Show
Island
Flatsales
The flatsale price for a purebred kitten is usually 3K, and mixed kittens are 2.5K (however, mixed kittens cannot be participate in shows). Flatsales will be sparse, with 2 or 3 kittens for sale at a time. Once those 2 or 3 kittens have grown, another litter may be up for sale.
They will work like this: I'll post the kittens in this space, with their price and a small description. Then I will post "flatsale open" on the board, and you must post the required information. I'll end the flatsale within a few minutes (up to an hour, if the sale is going slowly), and choose the owners of the kittens. If you are chosen, please send the trade-- if you forget to come back your kitten will be given a different owner!

Auctions
Auctions will be held in separate threads, most often for rarer breeds of cats, or for custom cats (purebred or mixed). Once in a while there maybe be a very special auction, but... I don't know much about it yet.
The Auctions work like this: I'll start a new thread with the auction time, ending time, autobuy, items accepted and such. I will post again when the auction is open. You may not post before the auction opens.
Pound
Cats may be taken away from their owners for neglect (owner never participates in anything), or abuse (cat's happiness goes below 20%). When this happens, the cat taken away will be raffled off to a new owner.
The raffle tickets will be 50g, with 100 of them available. Once all the tickets have been sold, the winner will be chosen with a randomizer.

Breeding Cats
Cats must be adult before they can breed, and only male+female pairs (gene tweaking would be too costly). Breeding costs 2.5K from each owner, totalling 5K. Therefore, if you own both cats, it's only 2.5K.
Breeding may produce from 1-6 kittens, but each owner can only keep one of them. If you want to keep 2 kittens, you must pay the flatsale price for the additional kitten.
If you decide to sell your cat's offspring, it must be for NO MORE than 3K, unless you own a cattery.

Mates
Being mates will cut down the time it takes for the two cats to breed, since they won't need to get to know each other first. It costs 100g from each owner to get cats registered as mates. Also, any gender cats may be mates.

Island
Items, on the whole, effect adults much more than kittens. So if you buy, say, a catnip pillow for a kitten, it may raise the kitten's happiness a little bit, but the adult will turn out to be a much happier cat.
Alteration Items
These items, when bought for a kitten, may change the adult's appearance or temperament. They may also increase happiness.
(For kittens or adults, but it will only affect appearance if bought for kittens)
30g Bed:: Improves cat's health, and helps to make them calmer, but it may make for a fat adult if you don't exercise it enough.
10g Cat Food:: This cat food will insure your cat doesn't starve, but if you buy only one of these small cans, your cat may be thin and unhealthy.
200g Fancy Ribbon:: Some cats will wear this fancy ribbon, but others might use it as a toy. It increases your cat's happiness if he or she plays with it, or beauty if the cat wears it. It will show up in your cat's adult stage.
80g Brush:: This brush will increase your cat's temperment and beauty. It also changes the apperance of your cat's coat, making it smoother.
100g Collar:: This collar will dramatically increase your cat's temperment, but lower its happiness. If your cat it a kitten, the collar will show up when it is an adult, so specify color.
ALSO: Items you buy in minishops (if you have a log to put them in) may effect your cat's appearance as well.
General Items
These items will effect your cat's happiness, temperament, or restore his or her health. (For kittens or adults)
30g Shampoo:: This shampoo will increase your cat's temperment, beauty, and health, but lower its happiness.
50g Catnip Pillow:: Catnip will increase your cat's happiness, but it may be only temporary.
Special
These items are suspected to change your cat's appearance dramatically. However, they're quite rare. (Adults only)

Photographer
4k Professional Photograph:: You can get a professional photograph(art piece) of you cat for your signature, pet's log-- anything you'd like. It would be about the same quality as your cat's profile image, just a bit larger. Please order in the thread, and specify a pose if you'd like one. These photographs may take up a week to develop (finish).
2k Photobooth:: 3 smaller, not as well developed photographs taken in a photobooth. They're generally fun and silly, and take much less time to develop.
Tailor
100g - 3k Clothing/Outfit:: If you'd like to get your cat a custom outfit, PM me with the description and we'll negotiate a price. KITTENS ONLY. The outfit will show up when your cat is full grown.
Stat Card
200g In-depth stat card::Every facet of your cat's personality will be marked as a percentage on the card, and will change with any alteration of their personality.

About Shows
Shows are a fun way of winning a shiny trophy and title for your cat, and gold for you! The amount of gold in the pot depends on how many people enter (I will add to the pot myself, also), and winner takes all.
To enter a show, say which cat you'd like to enter, and send a trade with 100g to Island.
There will be a limited amount of space in the show; once it's filled up, the show will be judged.
Show Names
Show names are usually a larger, showier name for your pet, beginning with your name or prefix (whatever you want it to be), and ending with the breeder/cattery. Kitty's call name is Kitty, but his show name is something like Island's Parlour Tricks of CGC. IE: Prefix's Whateveryouwant of Cattery.

About Catteries
If you own 2 or more breeding pairs of cats, you are eligible to own a cattery. Catteries are seperate threads where you (yes, you) may breed your cats and sell the offspring yourself. You don't have to stick to the flatsale price-- you may raffle them, auction them, whatever you'd like.
You may sell extra general items (no alteration or special), or hold your own shows. However, 2/3 of the profit goes to the main cattery (here), because we're the ones doing most of the work. xd
It costs 5k to open your own cattery. Once you pay, a thread will be made for you.
