Pretty simple, just play by the rules and everything'll be okay. You can roleplay here for fun, for romance, for plot, anything. Just follow the rules. In the future, I may hire a RP Manager to enforce rules and possibly run monthly roleplay events. Oooo, doesn't that sound fun?

1.No godmodding and the ilk. Riverdogs are not all powerful, and you cannot dictate the actions of others without their permission. (Don't assume, either that someoen using another character IS godmodding, they may have planned something in an IM/PM - I should only hear from the owners themselves that someone was godmodding their pet, not heresay form others.)
2. Be respectful of others. Sure, there may be annoying people, but do not feel compelled to throw insults. Ignore them; call a mod. Don't feel the need to throw slander and such around and start namecalling. And to point 3...
3. Remember this is "a game". Just because someone RPs their pet as hating yours does NOT mean they hate you. And even if it's true, keep it out of the RP. OOC messages are okay, but I don't want to see users fighting, or I will ban you from the RP for excessive fighting. Keep your issues out of RP.
4. HAVE FUN. I can't stress this enough. Have fun, enjoy yourselves!
