Listen, I'm just another Gaian player out there who's trying to make a bit of money. So please don't PM with something like, "dat's stpd! we cn mak r own stuff! y would i need sumthin like dat?" For starters, I know that there are many people out there who know that there are other people a bit more literate than they are. And so would like samples of their work. Or just too lazy to do it themselves. eek

Anyway, you're probably sick of listening to me rant on without even knowing what I'm trying to sell here. If you haven't already left. And I know that this thread will probably die in a day or two, or I won't even get any requests. But still. I sell words.
...
Okay, that sounded weird. But I do; I sell stories, poems, lists of anything, even chapters in books you're reading or writing.

To order, post the order form. I'll try to get to you in a couple of days; if I don't for three days straight, just PM me with your request with a heart on it to show you really did wait.

((excerpt of)) STORIES SAMPLE

Taylor whipped around, her eyes blazing red. "What did you say?" she growled in a menacing voice, her fingers itching to grasp his throat. Her older brother looked rumpled from a sleepless night, but no guilt struck her heart.
"I... I just asked if you wanted to go to the movies tonight with some of your friends. I'd drive you." Taylor trembled. "Dad told you to ask me." Her brother jerked back, but finally relaxed his stressed muscles in defeat. "Yeah."
She proudly strut up to her brother and deftly slashed his face. He staggered back, holding his face and staring at the blood in disbelief.
"Don't talk to me again." Taylor was beginning to frighten even herself. Where was all this anger coming from? He hadn't even done anything. Her sibling shrugged, and walked away.
Exhausted still, Taylor threw herself onto her already mussed-up bed, and sighed. She turned over once, and immediately fell asleep.
Her lights slowly faded, and a solitary dark shadow fell across the floor. A quiet hiss escaped the figure. At last, it breathed. I have found you.

SHORT, EMO, FREESTYLE POEM SAMPLE

A single stroke,
One sweeping motion
Can create a
Whole new world.
An angel's wing,
A raindrop sliding
Down a bleak window.
Or even a blazing comet
Streaking through a
Blank void of a sky.
A bit of shading,
Some shining light
Brings life to anything.
Light brushes
Or dark, heavy stabs -
It all makes a difference.
A dead,
Lifeless,
Flat and
Dreary gloom, or
Bright,
Colorfully cheery
Paradise?
One that breathes,
One that has rhythm.
One that pulsates, moves.
One that lives.
And yet another stroke
An evil,
Jabbing slice
Can undo the magic
Only one with a
Truly dark mind
Shall ever
Do such a crime
And eh steps up
And scratches the miracle
Releasing the good
Destroying the love
Replaces it with
Deep hatred,
Lurking death
And turns around to see
Me.
I only smirk
And then I
Part my lips
"Thank you."
He blinks
Surprised
Flashes his eyes
In expectation
My sneer but
Grows wider
And I step closer
"You have sucked away
My tormented happiness,
My wretched love,
Mirth tore at me
Until you came and
Relief feel to my side."
He nods,
Embraces me.
"We share a bond
Let us be dark
Together."
With that
We glide away
Fear consuming
All who see
Us
Hatred grips our hearts
As we stare in contempt
In disgust
At the cowering fools
Before us...

CHAPTER SAMPLE

I embraced her shuddering figure as we both looked up to see the Black Emperor's warriors gallopin gacross the grounds. I felt something wet trickle down my neck, and realized with a shock that she was crying. "Don't cry, Ligra," I murmured into her hair. She just sobbed. "Please don't. It hurts my heart," I whispered almost inaudibly, as much to myself as to her. She turned her wet face to me like a flower would do to the sun, and her big eyes blinked to allow a fresh bout of tears to flow freely down her face.

"They hurt my people," she whispered back, a silent scream wavering through her words. I didn't reply, just hugged her harder. She was stiff at first, but finally relaxed into my arms. I felt something warm nudge my arm, and turned to see two horses watching us.

"Go," I commanded the snow-white mare, and it obediently trotted off. "We must ride," I shouted into the dark wind that had mysteriously swept up. She nodded, and we mounted the deathly-black stallion. The magnificent creature pawed the ground, whinneyed once, and dashed toward the castle.

As soon as we had finally dismounted the horse after we had arrived, a nervous man stumbled up to me. He asked for a word in private, but I merely replied, "Words that are permitted to reach my ears are also permitted to reach Princess Ligra's. Or do you hold my position higher than hers?" I eyed him. He almost seemed to shrink back, but finally opened his mouth to speak.

"I regret to inform you that your sister, Princess Orya, has been kidnapped. The culprits are yet unknown." I stared him down, and he began to wring his hands. "What?" I mouthed inaudibly. He leaned forward, as if to try and hear an echo. "What?!" I exploded, my voice cutting sharply across. Ligra flinched beside me. "Well, what are you doing, still standing here? Go alert the guards, fool! Alert my parents!" Ligra gazed down, her eyelashes setting a fragile shadow upon her cheeks. I was struck by the sorrowful care in her face.

The man now looked in pain, and cleared his throat. "Your parents ~ " he coughed, breaking off his own sentence. He tried again, faltering still. "Your parents are..." I knew what hwas coming, but I just looked at him dully. "Your parents are... no longer." I continued staring at him, uncomprehending.

"No longer what? In reign? Who took their power? The Black Emperor? I'll kill him..." I clenched my fists, and Ligra reached out with a slender hand and delicately layed it upon my arm. I nearly shook her off, but thought twice and discarded the idea. I glared at the trembling coward before me, who did not have enough voice even to tell me what was wrong. The man repeated again what he had said, and the message finally sank in. I fell to my knees, weeping. The tears just kept pouring down my face, no matter what I did to try and staunch them. Ligra bent down to console me, her hair falling like a liquid curtain across my wet cheek.

"It's true," she murmured quietly. She too fell to her knees, and placed her other hand on my arm. I closed my eyes, relaxed my arm, and my heart began to pound. My head felt like it was about to crack open. When I opened my eyes, a newfound fury had blossomed in my heart. Ligra looked surprised at my blazing eyes, and I felt a cold ripple of shame underneath my numbness. "Go," Ligra ordered the man in her quiet voice, summoning a bit of power in her pointed finger. He sulked off.

Ligra looked at me once more, her head tilted to the side. She opened her mouth to speak, but I overtook her thoughts. "I'm going to find her." She jerked her head back involuntarily, as if in disbelief. She moved her face toward my ear.

"I know how you feel right now." I didn't move, just continued staring at the ground. "But he's too strong, even for you. I agree, you should go find Orya. She's my friend, too, you know," she sighed. I looked up at her.

"She's not just my friend. She's my sister."

Ligra nodded. "But you should gather some troops, and have a search party go instead of you." I twitched in protest, but she interrupted me smoothly. "I know, I know. How can they be trusted? But listen. You can't take the role of King without trusting your own men. I would know." I ripped away from her soft grasp, and she lifted her hands as if to call me back.

I bared my teeth in a menacing grimace. "How would you know?" I cried. Ligra lowered her head in humility, but I ignored her. I backed off and sped clumsily toward the stables to call back the stallion we had ridden earlier.

Little did I know what I put myself in that day.
