Hello all! TheSpleen here, offering an exciting new service to the Gaia community! You see, I am, as the shop name suggests, a programmer for hire. As in, you can hire me to... well, program. If you need a program written, I'm your guy. Of course, there are some things I cannot or will not do, and those things are outlined in the "RESTRICTIONS" section of this shop.

A quick note before I get into things: I cannot guarantee that my programs will work on ANY operating system other than Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Windows Vista. I WILL NOT provide refunds for purchasers that cannot run the program on a system with a different operating system.

NEWS

June 09, 2007-
Removed refferences to built-in web browsers. I've upgraded to a newer version of VB which, oddly, lacks the feature, or has it hidden somewhere I haven't located yet.

April 11, 2007-
First link exchange! It's with a tarot readings shop. O_O Sounds interesting. Check it out!

Restrictions And Other Necessary Information

IMPORTANT:
I am not a hacker. I am not a scammer. I am not a spy.
My programs will NEVER CONTAIN VIRUSES OR SPYWARE, they will NEVER ASK YOU FOR YOUR GAIA USERNAME OR PASSWORD, they will NEVER SEND INFORMATION BACK TO ME, and, most importantly, they will NEVER HARM YOUR COMPUTER IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM, OR YOUR MONEY BACK.

As I stated above, I can only guarantee my programs will run on Microsoft Windows XP or Microsoft Windows Vista.

I am trying to run a clean operation.
I WILL NOT produce Gaia bots, refreshers, auto posters, or anything even remotely similar.

I am writing programs using Visual Basic - If it cannot be done in Visual Basic, I cannot do it for you.

THINGS THAT I CANNOT DO:
* Directly access information stored on the internet
* Access or edit files originating from your own computer
* Allow you to easily perform anything against Gaia TOS
* More: I cannot read the future, so I don't know what sort of obstacles I may run into.

Ordering Information and Pricing

Payment should be made in advance. I will not send you the program until I have received payment.

THINGS THAT I CAN DO:
I pride myself in knowing that I can do pretty much anything you need as far as programming goes. Just describe to me what you want as best as you can.

MY GUARANTEE:
Once you have paid for a program, I will continue to work on it until it is exactly as you want it. That is to say, if I send you a completed program, and it doesn't meet your request, you are unable to run it properly, or simply decide that you want some more features added to it, I will fix it for you at no additional cost (unless you want save/load functionality added toa program that didn't originally have it, in which case you will be charged the 5k save/load cost). If I cannot fix the program to work for you, and the original trade was sent less than five days prior, I will issue a refund. AFTER FIVE DAYS HAVE PASSED, NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED.
This DOES NOT APPLY if you cannot run the program due to an incompatible operating system.

PRICING:
Program: 10k
Program with Save / Load functionality: 15k

Please be as detailed as possible with both the program description and the desired appearance description. If the appearance section is not filled out, I will design the program according to my own tastes. If a program needs to access data it created after being closed and re-opened, then please choose yes for Save / Load.
