This is a FS for two very special Heralds. Read on, see if you can figure out the riddle....

A - Yes! For sure, monthly letters and monthly items are accepted. Any others need to be discussed. There is a payment plan available as well if you need it.

A Storm is brewing in the East. Its black clouds roll and lightning dances. The dark clouds hover on the horizon as if waiting for something else before striking. They continue to loom there, and a sense of ill drifts among Gaia and 'her' inhabitants.

Yesterday was bright and sunny, but overnight some normal rain clouds gathered in the cooling air. Rain falls to the earth. Amid the night two messages are sent, and the Heralds that dispersed their burdens Fall to world below...

What did these two do? Are they the reason, or a byproduct, of this demon-begotten Storm that even now creeps closer?

Meanwhile, a young woman wakes to the sound of her shrill alarm, and just in time to pull her out of a nightmare. She lifts her head to check the time; her blurry eyes gaze at the note resting on her nightstand. Beside it is a freshly cut black rose. Her eyes widen as she reads the note: "He comes."

On the other side of Gaia, a man unlocks the door to his house after a long night. His heart is broken, for he had learned just hours ago that his wife was gone. Not all the alcohol in the world would relieve the aching hole she had been. The lock clicks, and he enters a house that no longer felt like home. He flicks on the light, and resting on his table is a crisp white parchment with black writing, "Beware the Darkness."

Basic Rules:

+ You must RP your Herald if you win! These are RP-heavy breedables, so please make sure you understand the time commitment and read the RP Requirements post in the main thread before you enter.

+ Keep in mind that a Herald is an angelic messenger. After its message is sent, it falls to earth, wingless, to die. The only way for it to survive is for a human to sacrifice an item to it; that item will become its new wings.

+ You must choose an item to "sacrifice" to save your Herald; but keep in mind that no two of the same item may be sacrificed. So you may NOT use these items:

- Phoenix Feather
- Scissors w/ Ribbon
- Dragon
- Vial of Tears
- Hair Clip
- Earring
- Wolf Plushie
- Aurora Borealis
- Ice Rose
- Toxic Waste
- Helmet
- Raven
- Star dust
- Key
- Leopard Gecko
- Cheese
- Antler
- Knife
- Necklace
- Mirror
- Zombie
- Caribou
- Polar Bear
- Garnet
- Meteor
- Luna Moth
- Salmon
- Spider Web

+ For those concerned about sacrificing animals, no worries; the item is simply absorbed, not destroyed.

+ You won't give us an actual item; only the picture of it.

Flatsale Rules:

+ Be kind and courteous to all.

+ Only non-owners can enter the Flatsale.

+ Fill out all parts of the Entry. If something doesn't apply for your intentions or you don't have a preference if requested, put "NA".

+ If you win, send trade to Herald within 48 hours. If you will not be around for the end, just post saying so, and your Herald will be held until the time you allocate as your return.

+ Cost to enter is 0g, but if you win, the cost is 15K. If you do not have enough, a payment plan can be worked out, but 5K is needed right away.

+ Check your grammar. While some mistakes won't disqualify you, so many that it is a distraction is not good.

+ Your Herald's sacrifice can be anything not already used (see above). This includes no doubles on items (i.e. plushies, earrings, etc) nor animals (i.e. wolf, snake, etc.).

+ There will be two (2) Heralds to be won for this FS.

Two shop artists will be doing a Herald each for this FS.

_Shouko_
She's been the miracle worker, taking on a buttload of Heralds over the past few months. This will be her last new Herald for awhile, so she can focus on the ones she currently has.

Suboshi-sama
Originally 'just' the RP Captain, Subo has recently joined the ranks of a Heralds artist. There is one disclaimer for this FS. As some people may know, Subo's computer tablet has died and she cannot replace it quite yet. But, she is still doing a full Herald for this FS. Until she gets her tablet replaced, the Herald she does will be done with RL Media. At the time the tablet returns... ALL previously done art of that Herald will be REDONE digitally.

FS NOTES!!! PLEASE READ!

+ These two Heralds will be different than the ones we've had previously. Just like previous Heralds have all been "Light" Messengers... these two will be "Dark" Messengers. This DOES NOT mean you cannot have a 'good' sacrifice. Same rules still apply, any sacrifice as long as it has not been previously done. They will have some physical differences. This does not restrict their personality either... they are still normal Heralds, they just look a little..... different.

+ No matter what, these two will reach their Messenger Reborn stage before the Second Part of the Metaplot Event, that will occur no sooner than June 1. Why? Because them becoming Messenger Reborns is crucial to the plot. If the Guardian does not have their journal and 2 prompts done before that, they will be asked to reserve a post(s) in their journal and will have to get them done before the next growth.

+ The only thing actually "set" about these Heralds are the messages they gave (this comes into play mostly in the Teen stage). The two winners will need to discuss which one they'd like. They cannot both have one.

Prompt 1

Since offering your sacrifice to the Fallen Messenger, you have met and learned about the beings known as "Heralds". One thing in particular that you knew was that when they are Reborn, they are like little angels... wings, white hair, blue eyes... the works. So, what happens when your Herald is Reborn... but obviously does not have those well-known features? What is your reaction? What do you do? Do you treat him/her an different? Do you question him/her and expect them to understand?

Keep in mind, you do not yet know (though you may have ideas) what these differences are. If you wish, you can detail them. If the description isn't correct, that is okay.

Prompt 2

It was a dark and stormy night when you gave your Herald their sacrifice. Since then, your Herald has been Reborn and in your care for some time. In the middle of the night, a vicious storm arrives. You are waken up by the shaking from one very terrified Messenger Reborn Herald. What do you do? Why is your Herald so afraid? What is your solution?

And... this will most likely be added a little later, but, you can pay with items as long as they are "sellable"... mostly letters and monthly letter items. If you had something else that you would like to see if it can be used, just post in this thread or the main thread. It will be discussed with the artists (since they retain 100% of the FS earnings) mrgreen
