As you step into the shop, the first thing you notice is the silence. Most petshops are full of noise, pets barking, fishtanks bubbling, birds chirping, and the whirr of little rodents running in their wheels, but this one is eerie and quiet. You look around at the tall cages placed around the walls, and realize the pets are all asleep. The little multicoloured creatures are curled up everywhere, in hammocks, boxes and old clothing, sleeping soundly.

As you approach the counter in the back of the store, you are greeted by Little Dawn, a small, blue-ish, ferret-like creature. She blinks her little black eyes at you, and promptly returns to sleep. You notice she is lying on a small note.

(5/08/04) - Congratulations to the winners of the raffle! Unfortunatly no auctions are planned for the next week, as Spiky is on vacation and will have no internet...
(30/07/04) - Unfortuatly Photobucket is giving me problems, and I am unable to upload pet images at the moment, but there are still a few tickets left in the raffle, and there will definitly be a Unique tiburon auction sometime soon, because Paul Tracy won the Molson Indy in Vancouver. 3nodding I just hope Photobucket sorts itself out soon...
(19/07/04) - The raffle for the Sky and Earth type males has started! Don't forget to drop by and purchase a ticket!
(15/07/04) - Unfortunatly with all the weirdness happening for me IRL, I've had no time to start the auction or raffle. I'm also going to be offline and visiting relatives this weekend, so there probably won't be any events started until monday.
(10/07/04) - I may be able to schedule a Molson Indy themed tiburon auction for Sunday, Monday or Tuesday. If there are any Champ Car fans, don't forget to stop by!

(14/06/04) - I've updated the ownership rules to say you can now only own two 1st Gen. Tiburon, but there are still no limits on other generations. Also, the next flat sale date should be posted soon! After that, probably no flat sales for awhile...
(11/06/04) - The auction yesterday went well, now we've announced the date for the next flat sale! I've also put up the full content for the Breeding section, and you can expect the items to follow on Sunday.
(06/06/04) - The first flat sale was held today, congratulations to the new owners! Also, the date for an auction has been posted, and the RP thread has been created! biggrin (Click here to visit it!)

Here are the rules for the shop, please read over them. 3nodding New rules may be added as we feel the need for them, so it won't hurt to check back every now and again.

General Rules

* Read the front page carefully before asking questions or purchasing a pet. If you dont find your answer, read it again, and then you will know what to do if you still dont have an answer.

* Offensive behavior on any Tiburon threads will get you black/greylisted, and any Tiburon you own could be removed from your care. If you have issues, take it to PMs.

* Dont bother the staff with begging for a pet, whining, complaining if you dont get a pet, complaining about the pet you do get, or asking questions answered on the first page of the thread. Dont bother the Tiburon owners either.

* You may not alter the art in any way or claim it as your own. You may not steal a pet and claim it as your own. However, you may adjust the size or put in in a sig image.

* Being active and RPing or chatting on the main thread is good, spamming is bad.

* The staff reserves the right to remove a pet from your care if we deem it necessary, withhold selling you pet if we dont feel you deserve one, take a break from selling/breeding pets, or close down the shop.

Sales Rules

* No whining if you dont get a pet.

* No editing posts. If the pet you want is already claimed, you may post again for another, but editing your existing post will probably get you blacklisted.

* You may buy only 1 pet each flat sale, whether it is for you, or a friend.

* You must be able to pay for a pet before you participate in a flat sale or place a bid.

* If you win a flat sale, be prompt with your trades. If your trade isnt sent within 24 hours, your pet will be resold unless you PM or post for an extension before the day is up.

Ownership Rules

* You may not sell any tagged pets.

* Although it is not required, RP and breeding make Tiburon happy little creatures.

* You should take care of your pet in the RP, not cause it harm.

* You may own as many as you can reasonably take care of.

* However, you may only own two 1st Generation Tiburon.

* You may co-own, if the pet doesnt develop two separate personalities in RP.

* If you own second generation tiburon and are posting in the parents' journal/diary, you must respect and obey the rules they've set down.

If you are caught breaking these rules, you can expect some sort of response. It will not be a good response, so be nice. 3nodding

<center>Welcome to the small, wee little area about RP. Of course, that's not true. This is huge, and if you want a tiburon, it's recommended you read it. All of it.</center>

<center>Firstly, i'd like to note that Rp is not required for you to own one of these cute little critters. But it is needed if you want special bonus items, more babies from breeding, and a whole lot more fun. </center>

<center> As well as being cute, the tiburon can be a heavy, or a non-heavy Rp pet, or just lacking of Rp at all. Here are your options when purchasing a tiburon.</center>

* You can firstly choose to not have a Rp tiburon at all. That means, all though it would be appreciated, you never have to come to the thread at all unless you want to buy items or find a mate for your tiburon. But other then that, nothing is required from you, and we will never take your Tirubon away.

* Secondly, you can choose to have your cuddly ball of love show expression, care, wonder, amazment, or just be a cute little rapscillion! This is done by... the complex, wonderful thing called...

<center>A Diary</center>

<center> Diaries will be the most complex thing that will be involing the Tirubon. Let me descrive this to you slowly and easily. </center>

* When you first get your tiburon, you can roleplay lightly on this board right here with others. If you don't intend to breed, that's a fairly good idea. But if you are interested in breeding..

* You can also Rp on the main Rp board I will be hosting in the Breedables RP Forum, which is a sub-division of the Mini-shops. There will be more about that board, well, on that board. But there you can engage in heavy, interesting RP, which is a perferred 2-3 sentences long. You can also search for a mate there. Now, once your tiburon has found a mate...

* You get your very own diary once your tiburon has found a mate. =D Well, unless both owners don't want to Rp. Then you don't have too.. but still! You get a diary. Both the owners are in the Diary, both the tiburon are in there! Two in one! And in that Diary is where the babies will be born. But what are the benifets, and tell me more?

* The benifets of choosing to have a diary, are firstly that when they do breed, you'll get many more babies, depending on how much you Rp. Secondly, when Rping if something major happens, like someone getting their eye poked out or their tail bitten off or if a daper little tiburon gives his lady a flower, those will show up on the certs and on theirs pictures. Also, your tiburon will age faster! Now great! What else is there?

* Concerning the Diaries, when the babies are born they will stay at the diary, even when adults untill they find their own mates in the large Rp thread, and then get their own Diaries. And then the life cycle goes on...

One last note, I've coloured the pets based on "types", and I've mentioned that the types can have some effect on the pet's personality. However, I've made an attempt to downplay the type's influence, so the way the owner takes care of it makes a much larger difference when it comes to the pet's behavior and temperament.

Breeding costs 2k(unless you have 3 RP hearts), and each litter will have between 2 and 8 kits, depending on how much care their owners have given them. This will be determined by how much you have RPed your pets in the thread or in their own journal. Obviously the pets with well kept journals will recieve a larger number of offspring from a breeding than those who just RP every now and then in the thread, and a much larger number of offspring than those who don’t RP at all.

The offspring will inherit certain qualities from their parents, like their appearance(the lineart), type, and colour patterns. Depending on the rarity of the tiburon, their appearance will either look like their mother or their father. When it comes to the offspring's type, it will either be it's mothers type, it's fathers type, or a combination of the two. For example, if an Ice type tiburon mated with a Fire type tiburon, the offspring would either be Ice type, Fire type, or Ice/Fire type.

All litters from breedings will be posted in the section below, and given to the owner(s) of the parents. If the parents are owned by two different people, they will work out how the kits are to be distributed. If there are odd numbers of kits in this case, the remaining kit will remain at the shop to be sold or given out. The owners who recieve kits from a breeding will have the choice to keep them, give them to friends, or sell them in a flat sale or auction.

If you are interested in breeding your pet, please make sure you read the breeding rules, and follow the procedure listed below. 3nodding

How to...

1. Make sure there is an open breeding slot.

2. You must find someone else willing to breed their pet(This step is already done if you have a journal!)

3. One owner must post to claim the breeding slot, including the names of the breeding pets.

4. The owners must send trades equal to 2k to me(Spikys Shadow) before any work is done, unless your pet has 3 RP hearts.

5. Once the litter is posted below and you have confirmed the trade, the owners will work out how to distribute the offspring.

6. The owners will PM me with the names of the new owners, or a link to the thread where the offspring are being sold. I will get in touch with the new owners soon afterwards to get the pets names.

7. If any kits are sold, 30% of the profits must be sent back to the shop.

<center>Breeding Rules</center>

Rules for Breeding

* Each pet can breed up to 4 times during their lives.

* You may not breed siblings with each other, or children with their parents.

* Same sex relationships are allowed, but same sex breeding doesn’t work...

* Don’t complain about the size of a litter. If it’s small, it’s not the staff’s fault.

* You can either sell, keep, or give away your untagged kits.

* You can’t sell, keep or give away your tagged kits or adults.

In the tiburon shop, there is a large wall full of items you can purchase for your pet. These purchased items will show up on your pet's picture, as well as in it's item box. Some items are only available as rewards for good RP, and depending on the nature of these items, they may or may not appear on your pet's tag.

Please note that these items are available only to adult tiburon, and they will look different depending on your pet's lineart. Also considering the squirmy nature of these creatures, we may not be able to fit your pet into certain articles of clothing. Before making a purchase, please read over the instructions below:

How to Purchase

1. Post in the thread your adult Tiburon’s name, the item(s) you want to purchase for it, and the colour of the item if required. (If you want a colour not listed, you can add 100g to the item cost and request a custom colour)

2. Send your trade to Spikys Shadow.

3. When your item is finished, your pet's new image will be uploaded to the owner's list, and your trade will be accepted.

4. Confirm the trade and save the image to your own host to save our bandwidth.

Accessories

Items received through RP are different than items bought. Some of them, like unique toys and clothing will appear on the tag, while others, such as potted plants and play equipment, won't appear. These items are sometimes a result of RP events, but sometimes they are just gifts to thank the people who put their time into their pet's RP.

Plush Pseudoferret -> The Pseudoferret is a small plush ferret, with either a rattle, squeaky, or jingle bell inside. Each one is hand sewn and dyed, and Spiky likes to give them to people. Whenever a Tiburon journal reaches it's second page, Spiky will often creep onto the thread and drop off a pair of plush ferrets dyed to match the tiburon's coat colours... ninja

- I want one! Can I get one?
Only if you either win a sale, auction or event, know an owner who is willing to give/sell you offspring, or just happen to be given one by the owners of the shop.

- How much do they cost?
Not much, in a flat sale they will only be 1k. Auctions will start between 1 and 2k, depending on the rarity of the pet. Unique sets will start at 2k.

- Okay, what about customs?
You can only get a custom pet through auctions, raffles and special events. If you win a custom, you choose your ideal pet's name, gender, colours and markings, type, and adult appearance. There are some restrictions though. Type is determined by colour, so we won't make a red Water type tiburon, and you may or may not be able to choose a Unique set of lineart.

- Now that I've got a kit, what will my adult look like?
We're not sure. At this point we have over 20 different pieces of adult lineart, and your kit could look like any one of them. Some are more rare than others, like the Unique lineart sets, so if you see a lineart you like, why not find someone with one of those pets and arrange a breeding?

- What are those Unique sets you always talk about?
Unique sets are special, and unusual tiburon. These ones may have wings, or funny tails, or other things not seen on usual tiburon, or they could just be pets that need extra love and attention. We will only sell one pet of each lineart, unless the owner refuses to breed their Unique pet.

- Why are all the items so expensive?
Each item has to be redrawn for each different set of lineart. Unless your pet happens to have the same lineart as Little Dawn, chances are good that Spiky is redrawing your items when you order.
