I've been thinking about Gaia's lack of real historical period pieces. personally, I have always really wanted some vintage military uniforms. so I made a thread! the 'peak' of the military uniform is generally regarded as the early 19th century in Western Europe, so most of my examples are from this time period.
(also, I'm a bit of a Napoleonic Wars nerd, so I apologize that this is very French-heavy. ^^)
each bolded item within a post is a separate clothing component. meaning that I would like to see these be made as seperate buyable items, for the purpose of layering and so the whole thing doesn't have to be worn together. because hey, people other than us history geeks may want to wear gaiters, too.
why the lego guys, you may ask? well, when I was a kid I remember very distinctly playing with my older brother's legos, particularly his set of 'Imperial Armada' figures. he had dozens of them, so we would put them in little regiments and set up parade formations and all kinds of very nerdy things. I thought it fitting to include the little guy in my thread since I credit him with my love of historical costume.
