4-8-2007: SCHOOL SUXS
The load of my schoolwork has just got heavier. Not only do I have a group paper and oral debate in my Argumentation class, but my graphic design homework is sucking up more of my time than I thought it would. Granted, I took it as an easy course because that's the field I'm thinking of entering, but JEEZ! Way to take up most of my weekend....=_=...Not to mention I have the state math exam on the 24th.

The Angler (the college newspaper) is going to require my help again this week. So that's another crunch on my schedule.

So much to do...so little time to do it.
And hardly any time to do what I WANT to do.

But I HAVE been doing some art work. I just need to finish coloring Ginneko's avatar. I need to scan and ink the next one. And the BRIBE one is still in the sketching stage...

But I hate coloring via Photoshop Elements 2.0. Photoshop 7.0 and CS2 spoiled me...*sigh*

Welp, I gotta get back to work. I've got two more appliances to invent for Graphic Design and a paragraph about Ritalin to type for Argumentation. And I still want to see my boyfriend. So I gotta get workin' like a devil.

3-20-2007: WHAT A SICK COMPIE crying
My computer is malfunctioning...AGAIN. ( I JUST replaced the hard drive and other internal parts.) I have a sneaking suspicion that it's because of the LIMEWIRE program I've been using. gonk

As a result, I'm going to transfer my precious files off my computer and onto a jumpdrive. Then, I'll have Dad take a look and work his magic. He thinks it might be a virus or bug. >__<

It sucks too, cuz I was coloring Ginneko's avatar. Aargh!
I guess all I can ask of my customers is to please be patient.
I'm working on it....

3-11-2007: 1 COMMISH DOWN: LET'S GET IT ON!
Alright! I've finished the first commish, among college midterm exams and other school work. Pujangga now has her order; I've got my gold. Now, it's on the next commish. Here I come!

3-01-2007: WORKIE-WORKIE
Alright, so my slots became full the night I opened shop. Wow...Is that usual?
I'm just going to do things one at a time... Progress is coming along great for the first slot. I'm currently adding details to the line art via MACROMEDIA, but I've sent the applicant an update pic.
That's one of the things I do: Send my customer as many updates as I can.
That way I can guage the reaction and desire of the customer and make the final product as great as possible.

But I've had to stop work on my Gaia commishes for the rest of this week. I've got midterms coming up next Monday and need to study.
Also, my GRAPHIC DESIGN and COMPUTER ART class have major projects that are also due MONDAY. One of them is to reillustrate a children's book. I choose Madeline. 3nodding

That and the college newspaper (of which I'm the editor of) is coming up on another deadline. I've got to edit stories and get things together. It's stressful at times, but I love it. dramallama

Welp, gotta run to ARGUMENTATION class.

2-23-2007: PARA-PARA OPENS DOKI-DOKI ART SHOP
I've been drawing since I was a little kid. During high school, I discovered Photoshop and began digitally creating art. I began to submit my art here at GAIA and also at deviantART.

I never thought to earn money through my skills until my good DA friend, Storm-kid (also here on Gaia), started her own shop and began taking commissions.

She's my inspiration and my motivation right now. 4laugh

~ How soon will I get my picture?

Considering that I'm also in college and hold a part-time job, I'll try to complete your artwork in a timely manner. At times, life may interfere. If that happens, I'll contact you and let you know that all is still in progress.

~ Do you do trades?

Yes, I've been known to do trades, especially on DeviantART.

~ Do you draw fanart?

Yes, but not as much as other subject matter...

~ So you draw more OC (Original Characters) than fanart?

Yes, you could say that. I like being original. Don't you? 4laugh

~ What kind of tools do you use?

I usually sketch/ink with pencil and pen. Then, I scan it into my computer. I might touch it up or redo the sketch with Macromedia FLASH. Either way, iit's colored with Photoshop 7.0.

~ Can I friend you?

I'm a friendly person, but friends are special.
You and I are doing business together. That doesn't make us friends just like that.
However, friendship is a possibility. It just requires a bit of time, effort, and compatability on both our parts.

~ Do you whistle while you work?

Er...I sing along with my music tracks. ^___^
