Introduction

Welcome to Lavender Moon! I am the female alfa of the Lavender Wolves, Sari. I shall be leading you about our humble den, and dearly hope you’ll adopt one of us. The legendary Lavender Wolves are a dying race… This is our last corner. The corner is your home, your arms, your loving care. Raise one of our young cubs and watch them fledge their symbolic lives? It will save our race, and enrich your life.

We are currently setting up. Soon enough we'll be getting banners, art, certs, contests, events, all that other good stuff. But for the moment, please just hang on!

3/2/07:Hiatus begins: C.h.e.s.h.i.r.e has finals in the next couple weeks and will not be on much... also needs to finish lineart stressed
1/13/07: Shop planning and creating begun. Shop also created, but still in progress. Please give us time to get things going!

Rules

You’re probably bored to death by reading so many rules, but haunted by this post. Well guess what? We’re bored of writing them! So let’s make a deal. We’ll just do basic rules here, and expect you to use your creative minds for the others. Every time someone ends up on the black list or does something we don’t like and can’t just ignore, we’ll add a rule. So be good kiddies, and there won’t be too many rules!
[This means you may get in trouble for something we didn’t have a rule about. You are warned.]

1.) Be friendly, please. You can openly dislike someone/thing, but no flame wars.
2.) Don’t steal any work.
3.) Keep all content PG13. You can cuss every now and then, but keep it to a minimum.
4.) Bumping is allowed! (I’ve seen some crazy threads who don’t allow this, so I just have to say it.) Bumping is loved!

Story

An old wives’ tale, a little campfire story. Fantasy lore passed by mouth... Expect it's not fantasy.
It's real.

Wolves with strange marks, growing older and looking more and more mystic. Even some special abilities thrown in... Magical pets that live in the wild. Well, they did live in the wild. Now they're just magic pets.

Lavender Wolves---beautiful, magical wolves. Each of the amazing creature’s lives are created from a ‘Emblem’. They are based of off that ‘Emblem’. For example, a Lavender Wolf’s Emblem might be ‘Hope’. They’re probably going to be black-and-white, with white leading. Their markings will also follow the theme of ‘Hope’. Their Emblems can even be things like ‘Thirst’. In that case, they’d probably be blue, with markings of water, like teardrops or rivers.

Terms

  • Legend Wolf
    A spiritual animal that looks very, very much like a wolf. It's an old folk lore that is actually real. The Legend Wolfs each ‘symbolize’ something.
  • Emblem
    What a Lavender Wolf’s life is based of off. It’s appearance is also greatly affected by it’s Emblem. A Lavender Wolf’s Emblems can be anything from Despair to Heat. An Emblem can not be, however, something like ‘Cat’ or ‘Literature’.

  • Baby
    The normal wolf baby, with a few specks of markings/desgins. Cute!
  • Cub with 'Marks'
    Now it's a playful little kid. Wait...What are those strange markings? Oh well, they look cool!
  • Adult with 'Designs'
    They grow so fast... Your baby is now an adult wolfie. It's little marks have become designs -- it's a Legend Wolf!
  • Legend Wolf
    This is a timeless stage, where your wolf is a full Legend Wolf--just look at the spiritual animal.

Flat Sales

This is the number one way to adopt a Lavender Wolf. Our goal for the flat sales is this: Every two weeks, we will update the Adoption Post (post number six, the following) with new Lavender Wolves for sale. You can buy them anytime. After two weeks, the post will be update again. You can still buy any Lavender Wolves that didn’t sell in the past two weeks.

The flat-sale price is, actually, unknown. If you have a suggestion, please post it! We’re thinking around 3k-6k, as stands. It is a four-staged, completely exclusive pet, after all.

To order a Lavender Wolf through a flat sale, please scroll down to the following post and select the Lavender Wolf you want. Then fill out this form:

Customs

Customs are currently only available through bribes. Which means you have to pay more than the flat sale price. And we don’t know how much. Tempt us. Glittery gold and awesome items are the grabbers. That’s what makes it a b~r~i~b~e.

Customs can be oringals, random things that came to your mind, cosplays, anything you can get across to us! (since we have to know what to do!)

FAQ

Q: I have a question…
A: Post it in the thread or PM it to me, the mule, Sari.

Q: Will we RP with these pets in the shop/in an area to due with the shop?
A: No. You may RP with them as you wish, but you do not need to and we are not (or at least aren’t currently) offering any RPing features or places to RP in relation to the shop.

Q: Can we do pet trades?
A: At the current moment, no…err…One person wants to, the other manager doesn’t (sort of), and we need to sort this ownership thing out…Who would get the pet (since there are two owners), and such...Sorry.

About Sari (mule)

Hello there. My name is Sari. I am the female afla of the final Lavender Wolf Packs. I am also the mule of Lavender Moon. If you have any questions, suggestions, comments, or anything at all, please feel free to PM me. You can even PM me with well-wishings, like Christmas Greetings and such. I’m always open. *shy smile* I know I may seem a little cold, but… It’s hard, leading a dying race.

About Lavender Moon (shop)

Lavender Moon began on February 12th, 2007. C.h.e.s.h.i.r.e and Ginger.Duckie were friends. C.h.e.s.h.i.r.e had recently sold a breedables shop (Legends of the Saflia), right before Ginger.Duckie entered in the layout and cert contests. Very shortly after, C.h.e.s.h.i.r.e asked Ginger.Duckie to be the co-ownie in her newest shop.
It was Cheshire (C.h.e.s.h.i.r.e) who had the wolf idea, and Jeshi (Ginger.Duckie) who made up the Emblem part. Things just went on and on from there, finally tumbling to how the shop stands today.

Lavender Moon is a breedable’s shop, featuring a magical race of dying wolves. Things are called ‘Lavender’ Moon and ‘Lavender’ Wolves for really no reason… They just are.
