A few of us longtime Gaians, with quite a bit of experience in and around the art forum, have come together to bring you what you will soon know as a mainstay in the Artists forums.

is a Gallery. A Gallery that you can use for as long as you need to sell your work, show your skill, earn some gold, have a contest or collaborate with other artists.

You no longer have to open your own shop, keep up with the ordering, waiting lists, long-term commitments, back order, bumping, banners and the other responsibilities of managing a thread.

Here, at the blink! Gallery, we do all of that (yes, ALL Of that) for you. You just show up, and bring your talent. We will be your store. From start to finish. Whatever the prices, whatever the time period, whatever the amount... we'll take care of it all.

For a nominal 10% total fee (multi artists auctions have a different fee scale. Feel free to ask any questions if you are interested in a multi artist auction.) We will showcase all your art, host all of your pictures/samples and handle all of the order forms/requests. We provide banners, and we will even handle the trading if you so desire (but that just one of many options). We will bump the thread , and we will GET YOU EXPOSURE! We are blink! Its gonna be AWESOME.

This is the greatest idea for both established AND NEW artists.

To Well Known Artisans of Gaia:

You may already be a very well a known, established artist, even quite famous in the world we know as Gaia, but you really don't have time to maintain your shop anymore. Its become so overwhelmed with requests.... and all of the up-keep that goes along with it. On the other hand, you are really wanting that panda hat and you need to sell some art! Well thats where we step in. You tell us how much, how many and we'll handle the rest. We'll even host your examples for as long as you're with us.

To the New Artists of Gaia:

Not sure where to start? Well don't worry, because we do. Maybe you aren't sure if you have what it takes to make it as an artist. You shouldn't have to invest all of your energy into creating a shop, and all that goes a long with it. You can be focusing on your talent and let us handle the rest. Between the lot of us, I'd venture to say, with certainty that we know every single in and out of this forum, we know who's who and whats what. We will bring you lots and lots of exposure. And we will back your art... Thats saying a lot. If you have the group at blink! behind you I can positively say, you are off to a fantastic and exciting start. We will be a place that is brimming with people, conversation, new and old friends, and most importantly art!

~At any fine establishment there are a few rules that everyone must follow~

1.Please, be nice to one anothe, everyone is a human being and deserves some respect.
2. Follow the TOS, no one likes to get reported.
3. NO advertising, ask first!
4. DO NOT steal any of the art (or our graphics for that matter), if it's not yours don't take it!
5.DO NOTt pm/beg any of the artists/friends of the thread.
6. DO NOT bump when there are conversations, just join in and talk with us.
NO slot reservation, please don't ask.
7. WE VALUE the items used in your auction bid or art requuest.
8. NO bidding with more then 12 items.
9. IF you win an auction, you must sell your items that you've bid within the first 24 hours, so we can split the costs between the artists, so you can get your art faster.
10. Failure to follow the rules can and will cause your order or bid to be REJECTED.

Rules may be changed at any time.

Our dear friend Inte is a highly seasoned art whore extrodinaire.

She is the one to ask if you are in need of a good piece of art. She, in this section, is going to review some of the wonderful artists here on Gaia.

Ever wonder what your art is like according to the standards of the rest of the Gaian population? Well this is a perfect place for that. Just simple ask us to be reviewed and it might just happen.

Okay. So here we are. First art review of the thread, whoohoo! I’d like to start off by thanking Dev and Bel, the lovelies who asked me to do this. And let’s get on with the reviewing.

The first artist I’d like to review is queenjoey. She’s an amazing artist who offers both RL commissions, and Gaia commissions. The price is extremely reasonable for the quality of the work.

Her chibis seem simple at first glance, but look again and you will see her mastery of subtle detail, and the coloring is amazing. The non-chibi style she offers for auctions and real life commissions is gorgeous, even more amazing than her chibis. Only one downside to this shop though, slots are hard to come by, and they are few and far between. Competition is fierce, so make sure you keep close tabs on this artist!
