Giggling quietly to herself, Lily hugged the gift to her chest. She'd been searching for this particular item for ages now, the feeling of finally accomplishing her task filled her with pride. Her father would have an excellent birthday this year. She paused, looking down at the little item. "But what if he doesn't like it," she asked aloud, in a timid voice.

(This RP is meant to be an intelligent, literate RP. If I fail to achieve that, it will become a private RP, invitations sent to only those that actually read and follow the rules. I don't mean to appear rude, but grammar is rather important to me and I won't stand to see it slaughtered by "noobs".)

Setting

Shiku Forest, a massive wood of ancient trees set in a deep valley. Home to countless pokemon, some not even discovered by man yet. The brave trainers who enter, and are rewarded for their daring with grand additions to their teams. The center of the forest is taken by a lake of immense proportions, crystal clear waters connected to veins of rivers running throughout the woods. The forest is protected by a mountain range, few breaks in the rock providing entrance. Numerous caves dot the cliffs, some with tunnels opening into the forest itself. Clearings and meadows dot the land. Shiku Forest is a paradise for every type of pokemon, and a treasure trove for adventurers.


Current Plot:

Deep within the mountains, one of the paths lead to an underground cavern hidden beneath the lake. Once a pocket of solid Water Stone, it was mined out by a mysterious organization who then proceded to sell the stones for profit. Needless to say, the company (Aptly called the "Lake Underflow Network Archealogical Research team" or simply, L.U.N.A.R.) became very wealthy, and soon decided to attempt some... Less than savory experiments on Pokemon. (Thanks to GreyTheWolf for this summary and idea).



Rules of Battle

Battles are permitted. Pokemon vs. Pokemon, Trainer vs. Trainer (as in with their teams), and Trainer vs Pokemon. Doubles battles are permitted.

One post per move. No auto-hits. There is no invincible pokemon, so don't forget to take a few hits and "faint" when required. I (Eevee0045) reserve the right to decide if RPers are battling unfairly, and may change the battle outcome if I see fit. I will not tolerate God-moders and All-powerfuls.
