hi i recently read your announcement about the botting and such. i am a victim of recieving botted gold from a member of gaia wanting to donate it to me. because of that, my other account was banned from gaia, then gaia accused ME of botting the gold and selling for profit. this is NOT true. at the time i didnt even know what botted gold was or how to do it. after talking with a few fellow gaians they taught me what it is and i think its WRONG to cheat the system in this way for pixelated pictures...
Ive only been on Gaia since the end of october 2006 and i worked hard for the items i had accumulated and im very proud of them, and my reputation as a great gaia avatar artist.

i met this person in an AOL chat room and somehow Gaia came up as a topic to talk about. he told me that he was on gaia for a long time and had accumulated alot of gold in the process and donated all the time. he told me the best way for me to recieve a donation from him(with him remaining anonymous because he didnt want noobs pming him for donations) was to put an item in my shop for the amount i wanted. well i did, a crumpled paper for 200,000 gold (i was questing for a KIKI kitty at the time) and i recieved the donation and all was well. i bought my kitty and a few days later i recieved an email from gaia saying i was banned for botting gold and selling it for a profit. i dont think it was fair that i was accused of doing this and my account was banned. if i had known it was bad to recieve a donation in this way i would have NEVER done so.

In december, i also donated over 50$ of my OWN money to gaia to recieve more thank you letters to sell in the marketplace and fellow gaians for some extra gold and eventually had enough to buy a Coco as well.

to make it short, i was wrongly accused for botting gold, i have emailed gaia and reported this issue 3 times and even corresponded with a mod, known as Noraboo and she told me all this stuff i already knew.

all i want is my old account back. i miss all my friends and i have a few items (and donation letters) that i dont have access to and i spent all that money for nothing. PLEASE pm me back with good news about my old account, Sonicsweeti and that i may have the freedom to have it back. if i had known the gold was illegal gold or whatever and if you like ill give back the kiki, i just miss my old avi, friends and items. thank for your time.


After emailing MODS, i have gotten no response, but after contacting the paypal email address i finally got my story out but they still refuse to unban my account.
