That's right, folks. This is the final face off between the winner of the first competition and the winner of the one that just finished. The one who walks out of this battle will be the best avatar that has graced this competition! For this final battle, the poll and judges will be used. The poll will close on AUGUST 18TH. The one with the most votes by then will have 3 points added to their final score.
Winner has been chosen! #2 takes the prize and the competition's coveted "Ultimate Avatar" title!

I've decided to now use a judging panel along with the poll. If you want more details as to how that will work, go down to the "How people will be organized and how voting works." part of this post and read the things in bold. I'm also looking for more judges, so if you're interested, let me know!
Read everything before you ask to join!! As the title says, this is going to be a huge competition to see who has the best avatar out there. There's going to be different rounds. Whoever wins a round moves on to the next. You get gold for every round you win! You can only enter one avatar. (No mules) If you lose and want to compete in the next competition, then go ahead. You can change your avatar when you reenter.
Like I said before, you win gold every round you win. The first round you get 500. The second one you get 1,000. The third one you get 7,500. Round 4 gets you 24,000. And the last round gets you 96,000! Add that together and you got 129,000. Wait, there's more. See 4th post for what winners get.
How people will be organized and how voting works.
There will be 8 different squads (each one has a letter) with 20 people in each. Those 20 people will be split into 4 groups (each one has a number), 5 people in each. When a group is filled, voting will be done between the 5 people in the group (Round 1). The winners of the groups will then go against each other, within the same squad. (Round 2). After that there will only be one person left to represent their squad. From then on it's just straight out 1 vs. 1 voting (Rounds 3-5). When you lose a voting, you're out. This process will continue until there is only one person left. This person will be the winner! We will now be using a judging panel. As of right now, there are two judges: Zenoxy and myself. Avatars will be voted on based on the following criteria: Coordination, Originality and Overall Look. Scores ranging from 1-10 will be given for each category from each judge. At the end, I will add up the points. The avatar with the most points wins. The poll will still be used, but it will only add 3 points to the winner of the poll (first to 40 votes, rules against cheating still apply.)

2. No advertising unless I grant you permission.
3. Do not stretch the page!
4. Be nice.
5. No cheating. (asking friends/other people to vote for you, using mules, or bribing to win, etc.)
6. Feel free to stay and chat if you want.
7. Don't quote stuff from the first page.
8. When you ask to join, put "katana" somewhere in your post so I know you've read the rules.
9. PLEASE! If you change your username and you're in the contest, let me know.
10. I can and will change/add any other new rules as I see fit.

He's been dedicated to the thread and helped out in more ways than can be mentioned in just a post. He is now in charge if I'm not at the thread. If anyone does anything wrong, he has a right to put them on the blacklist/kick them out of the thread. So you guys better listen to him.
