Well, hi there guys.

It's been a very very busy few months in the lives of Emmy and Quinty- plays to audition for, dances to learn, camps to attend... but now that school's started up again, Quinty's decided she likes gaia again, and Emmy has basically been cast as a chorus member, we figured we would stop by again and pick up on our quest in our favorite quest thread of all time.

I'm still questing my headband, and um, when Quinty figures out what she's questing we'll let you know, k? ninja

But anyways. Welcome, we're very glad to have you. Stick around for a chat. One of us should be here a lot of the time, and you can help just by existing.

Welcome to the Emmy post~

You may be wondering what I'm questing by now, hmmm?

I'm going after the Nitemare Headband. It's an item I've really liked for a longlong time now, and I like the idea of perching it atop my little green pixelated head. I like the idea so much that I will stop at nothing to achieve my lovely little goal~ so be afraid.

Wow, cue ominous music much?

Anyways. About me.

I joined gaia in December 2005, at Quinty's insistence. I fell in love with it almost immediately, and haven't left since. I've made some great friends here, and just had an all-around blast. whee

I'm 14. I'm about 5'8". I have small feet and big eyes.

I really, really like acting, though this year I'm not sure how much of that I'm going to get to do- lameface.

I dance, and lately that's become pretty important to me. I do tango downtown with my friends whenever I can, and tap classes at a local studio. They're both so much fun.

I write sometimes, and I think that's a pretty good thing to do.

I enjoy making people laugh, even when it's at my expense.

Ah, yes. And the music I adore.

Decemberists, The Boy Least Likely To, Her Space Holiday, The Blow, Rilo Kiley, Islands, Say Hi To Your Mom, Stars, Camera Obscura, Hot Chip, and A.C. Newman are a few of my favorite bands. (And Of Montreal, but Quinty says I don't have that so let's just pretend~)

So, yeah. I'd welcome PMs (or friend requests if I know you at all). Or you could post here! Quinty and I don't bite too hard! (And I very much appreciate well-wishers!)

Yeah, well, by now I'm kind of rambling. So I'll leave you. Thanks for reading this far, assuming you did. If you didn't, thanks anyways- you're still a winner in my heart.

Hello there, world and welcome to the post all about myself: Quinty!

For my third quest I figure I'll just work on my house. It could do with a bit of work...

I'm sixteen, though not a full year older than Emmy, and I'm 5'5".

I spend a lot of my days on the computer just kinda browsing Gaia, but when I'm not here for some reason I'm either reading, writing, on another computer playing Emperor or cleaning up my kitchen for five hours.

No matter what it is I'm doing, I'm pretty much always listening to music. To find out what music I like just look at what Emmy said. A few bands she missed though: Of Montreal, Franz Ferdinand and Sunset Rubdown.

I've been on Gaia since June '05 though I didn't start being an active member of the populace till last summer. Even then I didn't start posting in the main forums till last autumn.

About me and humour: When I'm actually funny it tends to be sarcasm and cynical humor. When I'm actually trying to make a joke, no one gets it for five minutes and I'm stuck laughing hysterically at my own joke. Doesn't stop me from telling them though.

And yeah, hooray for old songs. (I remember when I was a rather small kiddiwink, one of my favorite songs was a love song about 'poisoning pigeons in the park'. It was pretty great.)

I can see it all now....*Dreamy eyes*
Kayaso stands around a flock of dead pigeons, singing the love song about poisoning pigeons. The pigeons, who are dead, just lay there, little X's for eyes.

Emmy comes skipping up, trips over a feathery corpse, and proceeds to devour it for no good purpose. Since it was poisoned, she then dies, in an inordinately overdramatic fashion.

Kayaso sighs, shaking her head. "Emmy, Emmy, Emmy. What did I tell you about dying in inordinately overdramatic fashions? I thought you knew better." She opened an umbrella, although it was sunny outside, and walked away, leaving the pigeons plus Emmy dead in the park.
