How Do I get The Most Out Of an Investment?
If You Invest On an Item, In Hopes It Will Go Up. HOLD ONTO IT. I know you might have the earge to sell it once it get to the price of your quest to be finished, but if you hold onto it, it WILL go up more, then you will have way extra money. If I would of sold my horns when they got to 500k in the market, I would of Missed out on an extra 200k, that is alot, and is you miss it thats it, its like your flushing 200k down the toilet. What a waste.
This should be in the "How else to make legal gold" post, but this post wasnt very big, so its here.
"Without much effort at all, you can't earn at least 1k a day in less than an hour.
Daily chance - 2 minutes, tops. Will be worth at least 100g.
Do a puzzle. A "normal" puzzle should take no more than 10 minutes and will be worth about 100 gold.
Fish once per day. That should take 10 minutes, tops and should be worth at LEAST 100g per bucket.
A few random posts, comments, votes and surfing (maybe 5 to 10 minutes' worth) should be worth another 200g.
Putting your stuff in the marketplace, including price research - just pick a good price and list it for 14 days. Don't babysit it! (5 minutes.)
So, 500 gold for doing very little, 40 minutes or less. Use a mule (a secondary character) to do the same and you've got at least 1K for farting around for an hour or so.
There is a point of diminishing returns with puzzles and fishing, but there's one place where the possibilities are endless: the marketplace.
This is my cash cow. Make it yours.
In the time it took someone to incessantly beg me for donations, I had gone to the marketplace and found a 3.5k item for 1 gold. I turned around and sold it within 1-2 minutes for a 3.5k profit.
I told a random beggar about this and they asked me for the link.
No. That's not how it works. You must search. Find things to buy low and sell for a profit. It's not hard, and depending on your luck, you can make thousands in minutes.
Things to do and not do in the marketplace:
1. Do keep your password on your clipboard ready to copy and paste.
2. Do focus on a select few items - however many you're comfortable with keeping straight in your head - and make quick links in your browser to the lowest buy prices of the items in the MP. For example, search for "Enchanted Wooden Trunk" (with quotes!), sorted by lowest buy price and then save to favorites (I recommend the links bar.)
3. When searching for low-priced items amongst your favorites, do remember to sort by "time remaining." You might find better opportunities which don't show on the first page when you sort by "lowest buy price."
4. Do NOT saturate the market. As tempting as it may be to sell all four of the same item at the same price, all you're going to do is force other sellers to go lower. Spread out your prices or put them in one at a time, selling other things in the meantime.
5. DO research the current going price for an item right before you list it. Every time. Even if you did it 30 minutes ago. The market changes. You don't want to price too high or too low. Use those quick links every time. It's a quick jump to your store from there, anyway!
6. Do not cancel a sale right before it expires because you don't like the price. While it's not against the rules, it's rude, and you'll just discourage certain buyers from bothering with your auctions. Either start with a minimum bid you can live with, or price it buy only."
