Welcome friends, to my first ever art auction! I'm rather excited to be doing this; it's something I've wanted to do for a long time. Generally, I do not charge for my art, but I have been curious to see how I well I'd fair. Unless I get my autobid (See below), the proceeds of this auction will likely go towards a future art contest-- Oh my!

Duration: 12:00am Friday January 12th-11:59pm Saturday February 3rd
In the event of last minute action, bidding will be extended until there have been no offers within 1 hour of the last offer.

Rules:
1. As always, do not be an a**.
2. No bids by PM.
3. All bids are final unless you can prove you are unable to uphold your obligations come the end of the auction.
4. No bidding in the place of others unless I have been contacted from that person's account prior to the bid.
5. Follow the Gaia TOS. Like I said, no assery.
6. PMs are for questions and concerns only.
7. I reserve the right to ammend my rules at any time should the need arise.

Please use www.tektek.org to price all items. I will ignore any bids that do not have items priced (exception: Autobid)

What you'll get:
1,000g-35,000g- Two (2) headshots/portraits or one (1) Half-body (No BG)
36,000g-70,000g- Two (2) busts or one (1) Full body (No BG)
71,000g-140,00g- one (2) Headshots/portraits, one (1) Half-body, or one (1) Half-body and one (1) Full-body (1 with simple BG)
141,000g-280,000g- One (1) Headshot, one (1) half-body, one (1) full body, or two (2) half-bodies (simple BGs) and one (1) Full-body (simple BG)
281,000g-369,000- Half or full body with complex background
AB1- Two (2) pieces with complex background, or two (2) headshots, two (2) Half-bodies, two (2) full bodies (simple BGs)

Headshots/portraits:
My portraits tend to be more realistically styled than my other pieces.

Bust:
I consider anything that includes items from the shoulders to mid-chest to be a bust. A headshot will not include anything below the neck.

Half-body (with simple BG):
Simple BGs are anything more complex than a simple color. This can include but is not limited to: Portrait holes (See left sample), windows (frosted), mirrors, and drapery/curtains.

Full-body (with complex BG):
Complex BGs are anything where the figure may be interacting with the BG. This may include full scenery (see left sample) or action.

I will add to the current samples as I see fit.

2. You didn't mention anything about couples...?
I dislike doing couple art. I am not very good at it, although I'm getting markedly better. However, if you win with the autobuy or above, I'm willing to consider it.

3. What do you use?
Aiptek Hyperpen8000u tablet and Photoshop 7.0. I currently work 100% digitally. All of the samples here were done that way. Most of my gallery artwork, however, was scanned and then colored by mouse.

4. How long does it take you to work?
2 days up to a week and a 1/2, depending on how much time I get in at the computer, how complicated the piece is, if I get a critique half-way through, etc. I work fairly quickly, most times.

5. Are you working on anything now?
Not as of Jan 20.

6. Why don't you have any samples of sketches or offer any sketches?
I don't often just do simple sketches. Almost 100% of my work gets colored.

7. Why don't you have any samples of men?
sweatdrop One of the head shots is a man... the white haired one? Er, I haven't drawn any men lately..? Guys hardly ever ask for art. *shrug*
