Code of the Divine Guard

This is the Gaian Code of The Divine Guard, based on the original "Code of Chivalry" made almost one thousand years ago:

Rules are to provide structure within the heart, soul, body and mind of all human beings. Rules to be abided by the glorious Knights of the Divine Guard of Gaia are as follows:

To live one's life as a gaian so that it is worthy of respect and honor by all.

Avoid cheating.

Avoid torture.

Exhibit self-discipline

Show respect to authority.

Obey the law.

Administer justice.

Administer mercy.

Protect the innocent.

Respect one another equally.

Exhibit courage in word and deed.

Avenge the wronged.

Defend the weak and innocent.

Fight with honor.

Never abandon a friend, ally, or noble cause.

Always keep one's word of honor.

Always maintain one's principles.

Never betray confidence or comrade.

Avoid deception.

Exhibit manners.

Be polite and attentive.

Be courteous of host, authority, honor, and one another.

Be loyal to Gaia and the Gaian Code of Chivalry.

Always respect and obey the law unless the law is wrongful.

Always be kind and never cruel.

Give mercy to those that ask for it.

Always be truthful and never lie.

Defend the law of good and seek to stop injustice.

Have compassion to the weak, frail, and oppressed, and seek to help them in any way.

Be charitable to others and give to those in need.

Love your friends and family and uphold them in any way.

Always put the needs of others above the needs of yourself.

Live a pure and noble life.

As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.

Do not beg.

And do not steal.

Respect the world of Gaia and all of its people, so that we may bring peace and justice throughout its lands. This code must be upheld always, no matter the situation. A Knight of the Divine Guard who refuses to abide by this code will be punished by de-rank. Those who show great example of the code being followed shall be rewarded, by means of gold or increase in rank.

Along with the Code of the Divine Guard is the Knight's Oath:

I will to my utmost power, with life and earthly goods, stand against wrongs and strengthen peace and righteousness, and protect fatherless and motherless children, virgins, widows and poor people, and be safe and true to my country and its crowned heads, and rightly hold and exercise my knighthood, to the best of my powers.

sweatdrop It seems like alot of work to become a Knight, but in order for one to recieve a title of Knighthood, you must recite this Oath in your PM. ((Oh and dont send me the code ^^*, just the oath))

Calidude:

Name: Calidude

Personality: Attentive listener to all who speak to him. Respectful of those that deserve it. Generous of heart and mind. Logical, upon thinking of a reasonable explaination/solution to a problem.
Weapon of Choice: The Divine Blade of Holy Justice.
Background/History: Born and raised by his father alone, Calidude has speant his life in observation, watching people and their behaviors. He uses this knowledge to gain a better sense of how people feel, and hope to one day find his meaning in this life of tragedy. He has noticed error among Gaian life, however, and has created a group of Knights to uphold the title of his home. He found The Divine Blade of holy Justice from a man selling rare weapons among the land. It was not for sale, but the man, seeing the strength in Calidude's eyes, gave him the blade at no cost. His father was murdered when he was only 14...and Calidude still looks out for his father's killer to this day.

Personality: has a short temper, likes chicken, loyalty,honor,courage, and compassion are very important to her. In battle she is not hesistent to fight.

Background/History: She has lived in the world of gaia for 4 years. Time has passed ever so quickly, each year more evil lurks in this world she wonders in. Her patience with stupid people grows thin, she wants to stop those who are rude and make others suffer.

Personality:simple minded, does what he is told to do nothing more nothing less(well most the time) likes to jump and drink stuff, is not afraid to charge but hesitates, hes feels honor and nobility are very important.

Background: He has lived in the world of gaia for 3 1/2 years and has struggled to make a guild. He will defend his friends and yell at you if you make him angery, also he tries not to make people suffer but if told he will.

Appearance: As a serf, battered dirty cut up clothes, grey, armored he is more of a grey metallic armor with black outlines.
Personality: He is generally serious, but has random phases of idiocy and a bit of crazy.
Weapon of Choice: Katana
Background/History: Just seemingly appeared on the streets, being a peasant serf, no one really took notice of him till recently. And no one knows of his past before that.


Raven Spit:

Background/History: All he remembers is that we was summoned by necromancers through the darkarts......he was never told to do anything.......just summoned for either pleasure or to see if theycan summon somethingeven more darker.........and invincible...........his name comes from one of the many ingrediants used to summon him...........but since he wasnt to do harm ortold to doso........ he does good instead of evil
