The world has been safe since Ramza and Alma Belouve died fighting St. Ajora Glabados and saved Ivalice. But, witnesses say that they've seen them traveling across the country on chocobos. This event occured two hundred years before Mewt Randell aqcuired the Grim Grimoire and changed the world according to his desires. But as most know, Marche Radiju destroyed the crystal holding the world of Ivalice together and defeated Li-Grim. Afterwards, they left and returned back to their St. Ivalice.
But two years after Marche and his friends returned home, Mewt discovered the Grim Grimoire in his attic with Marche, Ritz, and Doned. They reopened the book and flipped through. Suddenly the book began to glow and a vortex appeared in front of them. They were instantly sucked in and brought to Ivalice. But this opened a gateway that binded Ramza's world and Marche's world, causing them to unite and become one. Now there are two continents. One called Ivalice, the other called New Ivalice. Both sides constantly battle each other and among themselves.
This is a new story...what will happen next?
