Ages ago, a massive land deep in the heart of gaia was discovered. Inside its quarters, many eggs lay dormant. They had no way of hatching, for there was nothing around to assist them.

1. Respect those who work on the staff, and do not talk back. I've have problems with attitudes in the past and I will not tollerate impatient, rude people. This is the most important rule. Obey it, aand you will stay on my good side. ;D

2. Do not beg for a pet. This also includes 'cluing' us that you don't have one yet, and you want one.

3. No fighting in the thread. Be nice to the other owners! It might start out as a little discussion, but if it goes any further, please take it to pms or ims.

4. Do not godmode your chao. Your chao is not god of the garden, so don't give it godly powers. Only select chao will have the ability to have 'godly' powers. This also includes roleplaying what happens to the other person's chao without their consent. You do not own the other persons chao, therefore you do not decide its fate.

5. Roleplay is not required, but highly encouraged. If you don't roleplay, your chao will simply grow to the neutral adult stage.

All chao in the garden will grow to the adult stage; roleplaying your chao will get it to the immortal stage.

Ability-specialized Chao will branch off of the basics, but will be more rare. You do not have to have a specialized chao to get an immortal one! ~

The only way to obtain these is with the consumption of Chaos Drives, one of the chao's many treats. Chaos Drives will only be sold sporadically and giving via events.

These are the specialized ability types :
- Swim
- Run
- Power
- Strength
- Stamina

Getting other chao types won't be a walk in the park. Every chao owner that is not active within the thread does not have a chance of their chao turning into a Dark or Hero Chao. All active owners and roleplayers will have a greater chance of this.

A dice will be rolled for certian things that will determine if your chao has the chance to become one of the other two types, and it is up to you to roleplay your chao going through the 'process' for it to change into the other stage. If your chao is not roleplayed, it will simply just grow to the Neutral adult stage.

Certian chao are only changed appearance wise with Chaos Drives. These little treats will only be given out via events so we can control them. No, you can not roleplay your chao gaining one and turning into a Sonic chao! It will be more complicated than that.
