~These are the General rules of the land. MY WORD IS LAW! But fret not, my friend, if you follow these simple rules and stay out of trouble, you'll be just fine. ^^
Rules may be added or changed. If you don't see a rule on her that should be on here, feel free to post your suggestion in the shop or guild.
The first offense is a warning, second is a grey listing and third is blacklisting. There are exceptions for certain cases that will result in auto black/grey listing.~






1~ NO stealing the art~ I WILL FIND YOU AND CAUSE YOU MASS PAIN! No warning will be issued, you will automatically be blacklisted. I shouldn't even have to explain to anyone why this is a rule.

2~ NO excess cussing~ I admit, I cuss, but please try not to over do it, we're all friendly people, let's keep it that way.

3~ Be respectful to all staff and thread goers~ There is no need to start fights, or flame wars. WARNING: I might just decide to shove you off with a warning, and I might decide to auto grey/blacklist you. It depends on what you're saying and your reason for starting stuff. (however there are no good reasons for starting a fight)

4~ Keep chatspeak on low, please~ I'm perfecly able to tell when you're just being silly vs when you're just being lazy, I might let it slide the first time, but be forelorned. Chatspeak DOES get annoying, you know.

5~ When Rping, NO God moding~ You controll your driian pets, and ONLY yours, however, if you want to spice up the rp with mabey a temporary character (pedators, hunters, etc.) you may do so, but ONLY YOU controll them.

6~ Spamming will NOT be tolerated~ If you want to advertise, have it in your sig, or PM ME (rebel466) to be an Affiliate

7~ Follow the TOS~ No explination required

8~ Rp in the rp thread~ It's much easier than Rping in the guild

9~ If you have a complaint, pm me~ Complaints about prices will most likely be ignored unless they are sensible. Complaints posted in the thread will ignored, suggestions, however, will NOT be ignored ^^

10~ friend request the mule to be on the mailing list~ Driian Legends is the one you friend request.
Real simple rule, I only require that you've atleast shown interest in the thread by ATLEAST posting. That way I know your not some random noob

Q: What is a Driian?
A: A Driian is a horse-like creature that was bred with smallish dragon creatures and several large breeds of horses. 3nodding (hence their tails and large size).

Q: How do I get one?
A: Buy one from a flatsale, auction, breeding, raffle or order a custom one.

Q: How many can I have?
A: Though you probabley already know this (because this is the most common FAQ question in shops) You may have as many as YOU wish! Just don't ask me to make you 5 million at once

Q: Do you take items as payment?
A: Yep, just make sure the item(s) equals up to the amount the creature is worth.

Q: Do you do pet trades?
A: Yep, show me of what you'd like to trade me and I'll decide if I'd like to trade or not.

Q: Can I pay you half now, half later?
A: Sorry, no. There are exceptions for people I've known for a while and TRUST. And you all know who you are.

Q: My driian isn't growing, what do I do?!
TELL ME!!!! By all means, scream at me to finish your growing! Sometimes I need a good kick to remember things, but yes, don't be afraid to ask or even demand a growing from me. 3nodding

Q: Why isn't my custom finished yet?
Pm me and ask this question, chances are that if your custom isn't done I'm either away or dealing with real life issues, but I'm almost always done with it the first or second day.

Q: I have a suggestion on _________...?
A: Great! Post it in the thread! I love hearing your ideas! (no ideas are stupid) heart

Q: How do you pronounce Driian?
A: DRY (as in, "It's so dry out!" wink AN (as in, "May I have an apple?" wink

Normal Driians~

Newborn~ Driian newborns are very vulnerable, and lie down frequently due to hawk and owl sitings around the area . Newborns speak like normal learning children (One to two days they can’t say a word.) and will repeat any word you say, so watch your language!
When Newborn Driians grow from one stage to the next, they seem to sigh, and a flash of light temporarily blinds anyone who is near. When the driian light is possible to see through, the Newborn shall be an adolcent. Newborns, in the meantime, often prance and play with any driian foal. Fillies tend to by frightened by humans, if they are born wild. Colts tend to love causing mischief, so BE CAREFUL!










Adolecent~ Driian Adolcents are basically your average teenagers. They will swear on occasion, get drunk on Belbpiar (Bell-Pai-Air) berries and will definitely start to think about having a family. Filly Yearlings flirt with Yearling Colts, and the love shall start from here. Any bad words from other languages will be repeated if heard in the early childhood of the driian.
Adolcent Driian are like a pain to work with. Stubborn, Rude and downright bullyish attitude in the late adolcent hood means your driian is closer to maturing. By the end of this stage, your driian will have thought about things it shouldn’t have and will keep thinking along the lines when it becomes an adult.










Adult~ Adult driian are now fertile and ready to start a family. Sometimes, an eagle shall crash, and a wild driian shall find it. Sometimes, it keeps it as a familiar, and sometimes, the eagle rewards the driian with feathers for them and their young ones. That is the most popular way to get a feather, other then the custom item form. Adult driian prefer to graze, but there are so few male driian, only one is in existence. Male driian are prized for their fine large coat, and are a choice trophy for any poacher.

Newborn~ Deer Newborns are just learning to talk. Though if you would like your Deer Driian to not have such a feisty temper when it gets older you may want to teach it now or at the adolescent stage so it wouldn’t be such a pain to train when it becomes an adult. Deer Driians are also much smaller then other Driians so you may want to keep a close eye on them so they don’t get trampled on.










Adolecent~ In the adolescent stage they become a lot more tricky and sneaky. They’ll do anything to get away just to go around and flirt around with all the other deer driians. They’re exactly like a teenager so keep close eye, before they do something they may regret. Of course you’ll notice that the deer driians are very rare and hard to find. They hide out in tall grass taking a small snack, and maybe at the lake taking a sip of the cold water. You may also want to think about training your deer driian to not have such a temper if you didn’t teach it when it was a newborn.










Adult~ In the adult stage you may realize their much slighter built then the regular Driians as well as much smaller then them. They hide a bit more then the wandering sneaky newborns and adolescents. They are also able to breed and create their own little herd. If you didn’t teach your deer driian to not have a temper it’ll be more difficult to train now and you’ll have to make a big effort in training them. If you did train them they will just be VERY warm hearted.
















Gaurdians (Familiars)~



Wolf Gaurdians~ The Wolf is from an ancient line of canine kings that are to watch the driian herds, Forever loyal to their equine friends. They are fairly large, about the size of your average husky, and immensly strong. They can prove they are more intelligent then normal wolves by completing an ancient puzzle made by the very first Gaurdian Wolf. Normal wolves cannot work out the first steps of the puzzle, and driian wolves know it by heart. Gaurdian Wolves come in many different colors, and posses powers that they will only use for good.

They stay in this stage forever

Mouse Gaurdians~ A guardian mouse is slightly larger than a normal mouse.
They are tricksters, and love to tease and play pranks.
But they are great friends, and will go in places Driians can’t, or won’t go.
Smarter than regular mice, they tend to hide when new people, Driians, or familiars are around. Best with babies, they will cuddle up to them, and ride on their backs.
But beware, each mouse has magic! Lots and lots of magic!

Breeding! Everyone loves Driian babies! 4laugh

Now, since these are horse-like creatures, they can (normally) only bear one baby at a time, however, a couple may breed as many times as you wish. Only ADULTS may breed. If two people are breeding their Driians, both must fill out the form.

--TWINS: A Driian mare may ONLY have twins if the owner of the mother rolls two ten sided die, if they each land on 10, THE FIRST TIME, totalling in 20 then your mare will have twins. The more you breed the less your chances of having twins again. For example, if the same mare has already had twins once, then the second time you apply for twins you will have to roll THREE 10 sided die and must get a total of 30 to have twins again. (and the fourth, 4 die must total in 40, and so on and so fourth...)

--NOTE: You'll have to bribe me alooot of gold if you don't want to take the chance, so put down your wallet, missy. whee
or in other rare circumstances, you might not have to bribe me or roll the "dice o' doom" biggrin

HOWEVER! If you have rolled for twins and didn't get the number you needed, you may still bribe me. So atleast you'll have a saftey net, right?


~Prices~
Breeding is 1k total, or if there're two owners that wish to breed their Driians, 500g from each owner.
If you would like your foal to look in a spacific way you may ask for a few specific things, but if you're going to want this baby to look out-of-the-way rich or fantastical, it's gonna cost ya. I'll determine how much, odds are it won't cost more than a few extra hunderd or so. So don't get yer undies in a bundle. heart

Well, this is all I'd written so far, I don't expect you to read all of this, but I hope it helps with getting to know the shop better, and helps with keeping the future of the rp in order! ~The lands: in history and modern times~
Introduction to~: The land of the legends

Description of the land: Far from the lands of the earth, far from earth's mainstream lifestyles and cities of polution and noise there lies a wonderous land of lush forests, thriving wildlife populations, impossibley clear water, and the clearest skies you'll ever see. This small island that seems to be falling off the face of the earth is Driian Legends, known only to those who live there, the island teems with wildlife and friendly villagers. There are several habittats in the land, all of which contain everything animal of human would need to make it's home and settle in...

forested areas: These areas are covered with several types of trees that can be traced back at least 200 years, when examining the tree trunk scientists can rightfully say that even back then the climate was very dry; forest fires almost every dry season. But worry not, whatever the fires burnt down grew back, two fold! (this, as expeditioners say, may be how some of the large forests were created.)
Grass lands and praries: The grasses of the island are taller, fuller, and wilder than a child's imagination. The grass lands and prairies come in a variety of length and color, the grass lands tend to have shorter greener grasses. Troughout the grasses average hight is about 5 inches and can reach up to 10 inches, and are green year-round. The praries grasses are much taller, ranging anywhere from ten inches - two feet tall. Most areas of the praries are a golden color, but others are a very light green/yellow-ish color. Recent studies show that many driians actually like the taste of the praries grasses!
Hills and mountains: The hills are connected to the grasslands and are covered in grass two inches tall, much shorter than most grassy areas. The shortest recored hill on the island is around 15 feet tall, the tallest is 40 feet tall. The mountains, however, are much taller and only a few are covered in grass that is only a few centimeters tall. The mountains are jagged, and hard to manuever for even the most agile creature. Several hills and mountains even play host to caves, which accomedate many nocturnal animals and make nice for an evening in the shade!
The beach: Because Driian Legends is an island, it is surrounded by ocean water, which is a sky blue clear color, and is alive and well with bountiful amounts of aquatic life, the sands of the beaches are a pure white color and are often covered in rare, beautiful seashells, which the locals use as house decorations and sell to keep their farms going. Throughout the islands history of existance, a hurricane, tidal wave, or tsunami has never been recorded.

History of the land: The name of the island comes from it's first explorers, "Driian" was used to describe the lands wheather. In the dry season it's very humid, "Driian" in the explorers' lost language translates as "dry land". As for the "Legends"? The word legends was the first thing the explorers thought when they saw how lush with vegetation the land was, and how awkwardly beautiful it's animal residents where. So why is it that we today call them "Driians" instead of calling them "Legends"? The answer behind this is yet to be discovered, many journal entries from the first explorers have been found, but they're written in a language lost to modern society, only one living relative of them today that fluently speaks the language. However, due to threat of pouching, we could not travel to Driian Legends to ask her to be our translator.





~How to stay alive in the legends~
Introduction to~: available food and freshwater sources: a driian's diet

fresh water sources: Some of these include ponds, streams, rivers, lakes, and underground sources found in caves. The freshwater sources are just that: fresh. They've remaind clear of any chemicals for centuries and water can even be found in them during the dry season!
Food sources: These include several tropical trees; coconuts, apples, bananas, and several hybrid fruits
Bushes and vines; Grapes, strawberries, black, red, and blue berries, and several types of nuts and beans

Driians' diets mainly consist of grasses and fruits.
Meats do NOT consist of a driian's diet, they are strictly vegitarian animals, but they WILL defend themselves against attacking animals





~Driians and humans~
Introduction to~: Driian Village

The village is beatiful and perfectly preserved with great care and much history in every nook and cranny, with the villagers' traditions still existing today. The buildings are beautifull crafted with a mixture of several minerals found in the caves, which were melted down to create a very solid and stable rock which was easily molded, and when it's dry it's a reddish orange color. Many of the buildings still standing today date back to roughly 100 years ago, and are still inhabbited by the first owners' decendants.

The villagers: The villagers exist in peace among the edges of the driians' habbitats. Very few villagers don't own a farm, which often consists of the Driians themselves, mostly for companionship. They generally don't exist with any type of leader so there is not much governing, their traditions serve as laws, and everyone helps enfource them. Punishments are usually according, though there are no set punishments. Though the village is small in size, there are many food farms which have been pased down throughout several families' generations, the main crops of those include; hybrids fruits (shown in 'food sources'), numerous types of veggitables, herbs, and grains. They sell very few meats, over consumption of meats is against tradition.

The language: It is known as the language of humans and animals existing in peace on earth, "The language of the Driians" is said to be a language that Driians understand, which may have been why humans and Driians lived in such peace. The language is quite strange to even the natives. The words are pronouned in a sort of mixed-up version than english, and is written like a broken jumbled up version of english. There is only one living person that actually speaks the language. Outsiders are absolutely forbiden to learn the language and for anyone to teach it to outsiders.

Driians living with humans: Driians both inside and outside the village play a very important role in the natives' lives. The ferel Driians become very attatched friends of their human families and villagers often hold semi-annual races to improve the bonds between there furry friands.

A war in the land: "Poachers!" or "Srechoupras!" as it's known in the Driian language, those are words neither native nor Driian wants to hear. Pouchers are becomeing a bigger problem on the island, their main pray is the Driians, and they like to set down explosive traps for pure fun and just to see who can kill the most (those sick people), and they also have clamp trapps, which function to trap the Driian's leg between it's sharp jaws, these are designed to kill fast by loss of blood and to keep the coat clean for hanging as a trophy. Very few pouchers actually use guns to kill driians, it takes a very noisey type of gun to kill a driian. Even sicker yet, several owned Driians have been killed out of desperation when pouchers were not able to find the wilds.
