It's almost Christmas at the Sohma house. There are no decorations or anything up, because Tohru had been so busy with school and work. Then, Shigure gets the bright idea that they go to a skii resort!

So, Yuki, Kyou, Tohru, and Shigure and packing up their things and getting ready to drive to the skii resort, located about an hour north. Shigure has already called they other Sohmas and told them to meet them there.

So, basicly, the Sohma family is going to a skii resort for Christmas.

1) Be LITERATE! That means at least three good sentences per post!

2) Please post at least once every three days. If your going to be gone for longer than that, please tell me or Peppermint-Melody. If you suddenly disappear, we will delete your character.

3) Keep everything at a PG-14 level! That means no cyerbing, but hugging and kissing is allowed. Swearing is allowed, but its not needed every-other word.

4) You can only play as two charaters, but only one made-up each until the cannons are filled!!(Or unless we say it's okay)

5) Be the same gender as your avi. If you have a girl avi, be a girl character. Same for guys.

6)Please, follow that character layout! We didn't make it for no reason! Also if you are a Cannon stick to character! Kyo is not a cry-baby and Tohru is not a bully!

7) PM me or Peppermint-melody your profile. Have the title of your PM 'Christmas Cheer'.

8 )There is no 8, I'm still thinking of what 9 should be...

9)Be kind and respectful to all members, especially Peppermint-Melody and I, we worked hard!! We can change rules and kick out whoever we please, whenever we please!

10) I expect Literacy, sophistication and common knowledge of how to use the english language. If I do not see this, I reserve the right to delete your character!

11) BE CREATIVE!! Dont' be too Angsty or too happy, not everyone is so black and white or one sided! We hate it when people are whiney and try to get all the attention with sob stories! RAWR!

12) Post in size 9 or 10! Post in a color that goes with your character, such as Tohru writing in pink or Kyou writing in red.

13) There are no new Sohmas! Therefore, if you want to be a made-up, you'll have to work somewhere at the skiing resort.

14) Keep OCC character on this main thread to a minimum. If you want big conversations, go here, which is our OCC thread. If you have to talk OCC on this thread, use ((...)) or some other form of boxing to tell everyone.

Aww, Winter. Her favorite season. She acts like a little kid seeing things for the first time. She is the best in winter. Her temper is still there but she had a nice warm heart most. If you get her temper going though you might as wel be cold. Her kindess, gentalness and all is usually what brings boys to her but she usually never even hugs them unless they become her friend first. She usually cools down her temper and its not as bad but still don't get her pissed. She is the most down to earth hear. Her heart goes down and talks about how the earth will end or somthing gothic or emo in that case. She likes fall but its not her favorite. She is almost the same as Spring but more flirty. She usually still loves playing around and has her temper all years round. Her temper is the worst in summer though because its makes her hot headed.
She is usually bubbly and kind. Never having a bad though unless someone ask her about her past. She usually acts like a kid again when shes in spring mode. Preppy, hyper, fun and not predictable.

As a sweet little girl she has always been like a daughter to her brother Shikako. Since her parents died when she was young she doesn't remember them. Shikako took care of her till she was six. Sure he was sick of her changing all the time because of the seasons but he loved it as well. On Corina's six birthday he killed himself on the roof at midnight. Corina was then shipped off into her uncle's hands and care. He loved Corina more then anything. He always had his way with her and she hated it. He loved that is was almost like doing four diffrent girls each year but it was also devilish to take advantage of her. At the age of 16 she went away and never went back. Sure her uncle wants her back but she always says no to him. Kyou has known her since grade school but has possibly forgotten about ever meeting her. She is a Sohma Secret holder like Tohru but she one day dissappeared and that was because of her uncle.

Ayira is a very laid back yet fun person, always up for adventure or a challenge, after all that’s what makes life interesting. She has a warm kind heart and will always lend a helping hand when she can. However it should be known that she can have a bit of a temper at time, really when people are hurting others or putting themselves or others in danger. Ayira also has a dark side, there are times when she seems to be the exact opposite of her normal self, as if something from her past is haunting her, but these are rare occasions that she lets her “shield” down. She is a tough girl, having been trained in many fighting arts as a child, and a expert Snowboarder, and thanks to both of them she has some nice scars, physically and emotionally, but when it really boils down to it she is a good friend to have…just don’t get on her bad side.

To be perfectly honest, little is really known about Ayira’s past, snips here and there but nothing that is whole, except one thing. Ayira's mother died during childbirth and her father blamed her for it, thus abandoning her. She lived for the longest time with her harsh and sometimes cruel grandfather under his ever present eye. He was always after her for one thing or another, which helped deepen her hidden low self-esteem. She finally grew so bad that she decided to run away, feeling life would be better if she wasn't around. This however proved to be a bad choice for in her attempt to leave she ran right out in front of a moving car, breaking her leg in two places and putting her in the hospital. As bad as it seemed her life was then, this incident turned out to save her in the end. One of the nurses at the hospital noticed other scars on her young body while helping her change one day, and reported it to the resident social worker. He in turn had Ayira removed from her Grandfathers and place in a foster home, with two very kind and sweet people who were unable to have children of their own. The raised her and loved her and supported her in everything she did, even Snowboarding, though it was hard at first due to her leg injury. She eventually overcame it and has even preformed and placed in competitions, for it was her family that owns the Ski Resort, hence her manger like position. Everything else you could say is history, well up till now.

Mio is spunky and wild, she loves being active and loves winning. She is spontaneous and sometimes loud, but other times she is quiet and helpful. Working at the Skii lodge is her dream come true and she loves it, she has the perfect personality for dealing with customers and being patient with her students. Since she is so spunky, some people would think she would have a big temper, however it takes alot to even get her a little upset, things tend to roll right off of her. Mio is very understanding, and although she is a little ditzy or zoned out sometimes, she is good at giving advice. She is also horrible at keeping things tidy and sucks at cooking, though she gives everything she does her all.

Mio's parents were both ski champions and she grew up in the mountains. Her family recently moved to the city, but she decided to stay at the lodge and now works there full time. She has already graduated highschool since when she was younger she skipped a few grades and graduated at 16. She loves to snowboard and wants to be in the olympics one day, but for now she is happy just working at the lodge.

Mio is terrified of rats and hates them with a passion, anything thats rodent like is her enemy. She also likes picking fights, even if just for fun, and hse often gets in trouble for causing a ruckuss. Sometimes it seems as though she is obsessed with Snowboarding, since her room's walls are tacked with posters and magazine cut outs, but when she has a crush on a guy he becomes the object of her obsessions even though she might not show it.

Haru is a bit of everything, I guess. She gets mood swings often: First she's calm and quiet, the next she's frustrated over whatever, then she's sobbing in tears, then she's literally bouncing off the walls of whatever room (or doing something related to getting adrenaline-rush), then back to be calm and quiet. She has a quick temper, but she never means to hurt anyone. She's just very open with her opinions and ideas, and has a love for sarcasm. But she doesn't use it as often as usual. She's a good friend and is a bit too wise for her age, but she's a funloving girl with mood swings, in a nutshell.
ll Biography ll
Haru has not been able to recall being away from a skiing area. She's worked in the ski resort since she was 9, helping wash dishes in the restaraunt. She discovered her talent for singing when she was 12, doing kareoke with friends at 14, and has been working as a singer in the resort for about a year. Her parents were killed in a ski accident when Haru was 12, but she doesn't like to talk about it. Currently, she is living at the resort, but doesn't have to pay rent.

A wide smile spread over Tohru's lips and her eyes brightened, glimmering like a spring morning sky as Shigure explained about the Skii trip. "A S-skii trip? How wonderful!"She exclaimed in excitement, clenching her fists and holding them to her chest, daydreaming of snowy slopes and warm fires. "I've never been before, I can't wait!" Tohru probably wouldn't ski, but the whole idea made her giddy and she quickly got up and rushed to the stairs. 'I'll need to pack warm things, Oh! I have those mittens and scarf that Uo got me! And I can take my new warm Pajamas!'Tohru thought to herself as she ran up the stairs to her room and began packing in a Tohru-like frenzy.

With eyes narrowed in concentration and a slight smirk sweeping over her cold lips, Mio launched herself down the slope. Her short brown locks whipped around in the wind as she sped down the snowy hill, her feet moving expertly as her board cut through the powder. Bright eyes scanned ahead from behind orange tinted goggles as she approached other Skiiers and she wove in and out of them effortlessley. As she neared the jump her heart raced in excitement, positioning herself then sliding off the jump into the clear crisp air, letting out a joyous cry. behind her one of her Ski buddies struggled to keep up and made everything she did seem alot harder than it really was.
Mio slid to a stop, sending a puff of powder into the air, then removing her mask and grinning. "That was awesome! The slopes are really nice today!" She called to her friend, who was panting as he came up next to her, "I don't understand where you get all that energy Mio...I'm going back to the lodge..." Mio titled her head to the side, then nodded and dismounted her board, picking it up and following her buddy to the lodge. "Yeah, There's a really big group of people coming, I have to give the lessons and such, since I will be their guide." Mio then hurried up to her room to get dressed into her uniform before the group arrived.

Yuki listened carefully to what Shigure had to say. They were going on a skii trip because there weren't any Christmas decorations on the house. What a good reason.

Yuki stood up from where he had been sitting at the table and calmly walked up the stairs behind a over-excited Tohru. He went into his room and pulled out a suit case. He began to throw warm clothes and other clothing items into it.


::Kyou::

Kyou smirked as Shigure explained the details of the skii trip. This would be the perfect chance to show off and show everyone that he was better than Yuki!

He layed on the ground a few more minutes, just until everyone had gone upstairs to pack. Then, he jumped up and ran up the stairs and into his room.

He threw his suitcase on his bed and began to throw random clothes into it.

Haru whistled a little tune as she wiped a table in the restaraunt. She didn't have to perform until later, and, for some reason, she wasn't interested in snowboarding. So, she did what she usually did when she had nothing to do: bus the tables at the ski resort restaraunt.

For this, she at least got money, so she could pay for her meals and whatever she wanted from the resort and store. It was getting colder as Christmas came nearer, so she wanted some more quilts and blankets for her bed, and some nice pajamas. She was growing out of her old nightdress.

Haru shook her head a bit and stumbled, catching herself from tripping. She was so into her thoughts that her elbow slipped off the wet table. She bit her tounge in the middle of catching herself, and had a grimace on her face as the her tounge pulsed in pain.

Corina sighed as she cleaned some spilled hot chocolate on one on the tables. She desided that since she had spent most the money from her shop on this trip to have some fun she would get some money as well working at the lodge. She sighed as she then put the rag up. Seeing as everyone else on the staff was out for a ride or so she only desided to stay indoors. Even though she came up there to have fun to her fun was staying indoors reading or cleaning. She had seen how dirty the place was and began to sweep and dust it so it would look nice. Little did she know that she would be meeting some old friends once again.

"It seems...Kagura-san's house is next," the young girl spoke to herself, looking at the list of people in her mitten-covered hands after crossing out her cousin Momiji's name off the list. She was currently handing out her Christmas presents to her closest family members, which consisted of all of the zodiac as well.

The snow was gently falling in delicate snowflakes, one happening to fall on the tiger's nose. Kisa's nose replied with a twitch which resulted in a small sneeze. She shook her head free of the melting flake and started her way towards Kagura's house with her many bags.

"Oh dearest Kyou! Our Christmas together will be the best holiday we ever had!" the cursed boar spoke out dreamily, waltzing around her room and giggle every few seconds. Christmas was so close, and she had planned how she would spend the entire day with her beloved. She could imagine it now, the two cousins curled up on the couch with the fireplace ablaze in front of them...

Ding dong!

"Hmm? Who could that be?" Kagura asked herself at the sound of the doorbell ringing, and let her curiousity get the better of her. She exited her room and disappeared down the stairs, making her way to swing open the front door to reveal a shivering Kisa.

"Kisa-chan!" the brunette called out affectionately and let the tiger into her house before wrapping her arms around her in a welcoming hug.

"I have a Christmas gift for you Kagura-san," Kisa smiled back as her various bags fell to the floor. "And a favor to ask. Would you mind walking with me to Onee-chan and the others? I can't travel that far by myself."

At the mention of Tohru's name, an orange cat popped into Kagura's mind. In a matter of seconds, the boar was completely dressed for the cold outside, and drabbed her younger cousin and her bags outside into the cold.

"Kagura-san! What about your present?"
