Four hundred years into the future of man on a distant planet known as Karuka, life has regressed to a less modern state. Forest overwhelms the little planet, small villages with minimal electrical capabilities [yes people, that means that we have plumbing. Deal with it!] plotted wherever convenient. Cars have been experimented on, but done away with do to the inefficiency and impracticality they served on the small paths; cities have been built and abandoned in a short amount of time due to something strange, something inhuman.

Demons.

On this planet that was so long ago settled by the last human survivors, paranormal things reside. Elves, werewolves, vampires, and other such beings. Most remain friendly to the invaders, even living among them in the villages [so long as they keep their groupings small] while others lurk in shadow, waiting for the day to strike back at the humans, the day that the gods would forsaken the beings that had plundered their land.

Seemingly the day would never come. Tired of waiting, the creatures began to creep from their hiding places and take their chances, some of the more intelligent ones banding together to cast raids.

And maybe, for the Village of Wings, the gods really had abandoned them. Three villagers had gone missing, one of them being a key archer in village defense. Ten men were slaughtered while guarding the village’s sacred stone, the one that symbolized friendship with the humans and other denizens. Suspicion is rising and war looms. Will the people of the Sky band together, or drown under the emotions that symbolize dark, that symbolize evil, that symbolize the destruction of man.

The Village of the Sky has had a very unhappy few days. For about two, all was silent, before all hell broke loose in the form of a Druidic attack. After that crippling blow, another was dealt in the form of a Fallen Angel who seems to be succumbing to the more 'fallen' part of his discription. The attack was brief and left one human dead, but resulted in Crimson's banishment from the village due to a terrible misunderstanding resulting in suspicion on the part of man.

And now the village lies without peace stone, with only an elven princess to guard her crippled and shattered walls while, just outside in its forest, the darkness begins to stir in other creatures and one of their own contemplates retrieving the all important symbol of peace.

BONUS! Sume Arc

Sume, the fallen angel, has been corrupted! Well, more so then the 'fallen' part entails. A parasitic youkaii has embed itself inside of him and he was forced unconscious by the valiant elven, Anatsu. Unfortunately for the demon, when Sume awoke he was not alone.

Both Crimson, someone who'd risk it all to keep Sume alive and well, and Anatsu, the very elven that aided his escape from the village, were waiting. After a half-attack on the neko, in which his conscious roared above the temptation of the parasite and stopped...it, Sume was sent outside...

Only to be caught by a tree. The first attempt to remove the parasite was intercepted by a bunch of enemy archers knocking Crimson unconscious with deadly toxins, but they have been successfully removed and there's a determination that wasn't there before about both the elf and neko.

In the second attempt, a striking battle was held and, after what felt like forever, the demon was purified, leaving the neko exhausted and Anatsu unconscious. But there would be no time for rest as they all found out when Enaiyo came and dragged away Crimson for some foreign reason.

But either way, Sume was helped.
