This shop, run by Digi and Suzera, sells Shaoyu.
Shaoyu are small, bubbly creatures that look semi-transparent but can solidify at will. Shaoyu range from 7 to 10 centimeters (2.76 to 3.94 inches) in height, including the space between their head and body. They have a pair of eyes, but no mouth or nose or ears. They don't seem to require any food as far as we know. However, they are curious little things and like to play with objects, passing through them and solidifying to touch them.
They tend to be mischief-makers, moving objects about and knocking them down. For this reason, we ask that owners have a fair amount of patience with their Shaoyu.
Despite the lack of a mouth, Shaoyu can make burbling and squealing noises. Digi gets the feeling Suzera's Shaoyu is laughing at her when it does this.

Numeral, besides my math book, likes to float through certain foods. And will do so numerous times. From what He says, and I can gather. I think its a kind of eating.
Yes I know that shaoyu don't necessarily eat, but Numeral likes to go through the food, and I think that's how he tastes it anyway.

Digi frowned at the train of creatures at her muse's heel. "You seem to attract the things."
"Apparently." Suzera watched the ghost creatures phase harmlessly through her leg and join the others.
"We're running out of room for them," Digi complained, gesturing to the gaggle of creatures floating about the house.
"We could find other owners for them."
Digi blinked.
"You gave one to Hayato Sakashi before," Suzera said patiently.
"I could didn't convince Numeral to go," Digi said slowly, the gears in her head struggling to turn. "You spoke to Numeral and it just floated over."

Suzera beckoned the original creature over, curling and uncurling her finger. It giggled and butted its head up like a dog demanding a petting session.
"Maybe you should name it," said Digi. "It's stayed here for a week."
"We don't even know what these guys are."
"Shaoyu," Digi announced.
Suzera frowned. "Ghost children? You don't believe in the supernatural though."
"I still don't. We just need to call them something."

Digi watched the creature burble-squeal and fly through the closed door. Said door opened to reveal Suzera--with one of the floating semi-transparent things on either shoulder. The original one was rubbing against her cheek.
"Um."

The creature breezed through the bottom edge of her drawers, returning with one of her pens stuck through its body. The creature blinked at Digi, and the pen dropped through its body to the floor. Burbling happily, it went to retrieve another pen, as if it was engaged in a game.
"How does it do that?" Digi gaped. "Phase in and out like that?"
"Not certain," said Suzera, shrugging. Being a muse, Suzera herself was semi-transparent, but she could not pass through the floor or any other material. "It doesn't seem like it can talk. Not in our language."
Digi stared at it for a while before glancing up to her muse. "Do you want to keep it?"
"We can't exactly prevent it from coming or going."
"Er, right."

Digi blinked, looking at her violet-haired muse. "I don't see anything."
Suzera pointed down to where a bubble was floating by her left ankle.
The bubble blinked.
"WHOAMYGAWD!" Digi scrambled onto her desk, sending papers flying. Pencils and pens rained against the wooden floor, clattering and rolling about under the furniture; they would never be found again. Digi was too excited to care. "The thing has eyes!"
"Very astute observation," her muse deadpanned.
