Plot

Times at a large boarding school just outside of Tokyo have never been quite normal. Students possess amazing gifts, ones that many could only imagine to have. However, they are cast for being different. The school plays a role for all boys in the world that have ever been abandoned for being called "different", whether it be supernatural, or they are just homeless. Here, the boys can live as normal of a life as their elders can give them. The school acts not only as a place where they can learn control and discipline over their gifts, but also as a place to prepare the teenagers for the problems they may face in the real world.

Trouble has been brewing lately. Nobody knows who exactly would hold any spite towards what the boarding school is trying to achieve. For the majority of the population, the students are well behaved; they are grateful for the fact that they are given a welcome home at such a prestigious school. They behave well, and never catch the attention of the general public. So, naturally, only people who know of the school's true purpose, to house young men who have nowhere to go would see it as anything out of the ordinary. The public leaves the school alone. People know that children out of the ordinary are housed there--many care not to have anything to do with the children.

Illness looms darkly over the school, and people begin to fall ill erratically. Many of the school’s residents do not worry—they have not known of or seen the devastation the illness brings. Its effects are odd. Generally being characterized as a psychological disturbance at first, people have been known to withdraw before falling deathly ill. The few victims that have been found are often coated in blood, blind, and soon after, they would stop talking all together, as if they were mute.

Such strange symptoms cannot be overlooked for long. Already, witnesses and some of the smarter ones are beginning to realize that something isn’t right. But what can they do? This disease isn’t something they can combat without understanding it first. After all, from the few blood samples taken by a few brave souls, there seems to be no evidence of any sort of bacteria, protozoa, or virus, present in any of the samples.

Who would guess that among them right now is a force much stronger than anyone would have expected? They watch and wait in the dark, and nobody is aware of their purpose. Everyone, students and teachers alike must be willing to fight for their lives if they have any sort of hope for a brighter future..

The Story Thus Far

...Continued from the Previous Roleplay...

We are introduced to our main characters, the students, teachers, and spies. Two attacks have occurred; one was against a student. A student and a spy, Aku and Semn, carried this student to the infirmary. Time passes by; student Hikaru is suspicious. His suspicious nature and dislike of help from teachers leaves everyone baffled. Hikaru steals his roommate’s journal. After reading Semn's journal a little, he figures that there's some sort of plan against the school and that the nurse in charge of the infirmary is involved. The boy quickly sets out to do more investigating, while trying to fight the strengthening effects of the illness on him.

In class, another attack occurred, and it was once again on a student. It is odd this time because painted on the wall, in blood-red letters, are the words "death against resistance".

...Curent Setting...
All students should be in school. Any setting will do, but remember, students aren't in classes. Due to the incident in the hallway earlier, Yato Jihang has officially called classes to a standstill for now. All teachers should report to the meeting room after dinner--Yato Jihang has called an official meeting. Spies should be around school doing whatever they are appointed to do.

The Characters-- Students

Name: Akunato “Aku” (doesn’t use his last name)
Age: 16
Power/Ability: For the most part, Akunato can control shadows at will. This only comes in usefully when he needs to hide from something. He can also run quite fast.
Personality:
Orientation: Bisexual In-the-closet. (Nobody knows)
Seme/Seke/Uke: Mostly Uke
Personality: Aku can be naïve at times; he isn’t childish, but it’s hard for him to face death, or suspect anyone of anything bad. Often times, he is much too trusting for his own good, and will make friends with someone with just a friendly aura, even if they aren’t really nice. People at school get the impression that Aku isn’t sociable because he’s quiet in general; that isn’t true. Usually, he’s just a tad bit shy and needs someone to just be a little friendly. Otherwise, he’s kindhearted and loves having friends.
History: Aku’s childhood was very happy, to say the least. He never really had to worry about bullies and he had very good friends. His parents were accepting people, and they only really had him go to boarding school in Japan because they thought he would benefit from learning to control his abilities. Because of that sort of thing, he is a very happy person and rarely breaks down because of something. However, being the naive sort of person he is, he doesn’t deal with death or hard situations in general.
He really hasn’t made too many friends since he got here, and the only real friend he ever had before all this happened was a boy who ran on the track team. The boy often didn’t like softhearted Aku to be around him when he was around his team, so they never really developed a very close relationship. Aku, however, was quick to fall for his friend. The upsetting remembrance of the fact that he’d once mentioned that he had a long-distance girlfriend who lived back home. It only seemed to upset him more when the boy fell victim to the illness and later disappeared. (The knowledge of this is only thanks to the fact that he was sticking his nose where it shouldn’t have been.)
Appearance: Aku isn’t exactly the most normal looking boy you’d ever meet. Years ago, he chose to keep his hair short but now he it falls just above his shoulders. For some reason, he has a knack for keeping it neat without even taking care of it well. A few years ago, his friends convinced him to get silvery-white streaks through it; his hair has been like that ever since. In general, Aku dresses very simply, usually in a button-up shirt and formal pants. His eyes are also a dark brown, and his skin is a little palerthan what one would normally be used to seeing.
Played by: +Kyoka-chan+

Name: Itou Hikaru
Age: 15
Power/Ability: He was thought to have no special powers, although Hikaru is growing to question his doubt. After all, he came to this school on an athletic scholarship, but due to mysterious circumstances, was forced to quit the team.
Orientation: gay
Seme/Seke/Uke: Seme
Personality: He's the Bad Boy, and he takes what he wants when he wants it. He acts indifferent towards others, but becomes aggressive when he wants something from them. Nearly every time something troublesome happens, Hikaru is to blame, and if not he is suspected of the crime anyway. He was caught harrassing a blinded student afflicted by the freak illness while the student was resting in the infirmary. The faculty kept private what exactly Hikaru was doing to the other boy, however rumors spread. Hikaru is on the verge of being kicked out of the school.
However, now that Hikaru has contracted the freak illness, his every waking moment is set to finding information about it, and possibly a cure. He wants to find the cause of all this. Surprisingly enough, his reasoning isn't selfish. He is sure he is going to die before they find a cure, but he at least wants to be the one who foudn the cause.
History: Hikaru was a good student and an exceptional athlete. The soccer, tennis, and baseball teams found him an irreplacable asset. However, Hikaru was curious -- too curious for his own good.
Nobody knows what happened. The headmaster doesn't even seem to have the full story. All they know is that suddenly, Hikaru quit all his sport teams.
Ever since that day, the boy's grades have dropped horrendously, and he has committed crimes. There have been a few issues with him acting violently towards fellow classmates. But mostly, the targets of Hikaru's hatred are his teachers.
Appearance: Here
Played by: Tempest Wind

Name: Shinjuki Kazoh
Age: Seventeen
Power/Ability: Extremely good hearing, as well as a strong sense of smell. To elaborate, he could sit in one section of a large, high-school sized building, and hear clearly everything that goes on inside of it. With this skill, obviously, comes the ability to sort the noises, to deal with the increased volume of things closest to him, and to block certain ones out. As for the smell, he is roughly equivalent to a trained bloodhound in what he can sniff out, though he can only smell physical scents. Both skills are very doglike, and he tends to act a little doglike when he conciously focuses either of them. (EX. Cocking his head to listen to a noise, shamelessly sniffing someones skin or clothes, etc.)
Orientation: Bisexual, leaning towards Heterosexual.
Seme/Seke/Uke: Seme
Personality: Calm, and almost brutally arrogant, Kazoh tries to keep himself cold and distant towards the world, and is very unused to letting anyone get close to him. That being said, when someone does get close to him, he is a quiet and brooding young man with a short temper and gallows humor, though he will do anything he can to protect those he cares about.
History: Kazoh was born on December 24th, 1989, and from birth he knew only the company of his twin brother Yamaki and his parents. It didn't bother him-they were all he needed, and he kept thoughtlessly devoted to them. However, his life took a turn for the worst, and his family was torn from him. Suddenly alone, he developed a sullen, cynical outlook and used his anger to keep himself seperate from others as he was bounced from foster home to foster home. When he finally had the oppertunity to leave foster homes and enter boarding school, he jumped on it, hoping he could finally leave his past, and foster homes, behind.
Appearance: Kazoh
Played by: Leonovich

Name: Dai and Shun
Age: 16
Power/Ability: Copy-cat [the ability to copy someone's appearance not power]
Orientation: Gay
Seme/Seke/Uke: Seme&Uke
Personality: Very avid about things they are interested in but quite apathetic towards things they are not. The twins are particularly mischiveous and trouble-making since they love to be daring and have fun whenever possible. Fun means manipulating people for entertainment and discarding the toys when they're bored. They have a type of cool and laid-back, but insolent attitude.
History: Of the twins, Shun is a little younger and a little more innocent than his brother, Dai. They both attended a public school, their mother wanted them to socialize, and were known as the Twincest. Why? Well, the school was full of girls, and they needed to be pampered so they used the forbidden love card. They had the looks, the fans and the money. Not even homophobes could ruin their current life. Ah yes, life was great.
Until they discovered their powers. It was good at the beginning, since they transformed into a pair of rabid-wild cats and attacked the principal. A couple of times. They were kindly asked *coughFORCEcough* to attend a new school and were horrified when they learned it was an "All boys school". Their forbidden love card would never work. They were doomed! "This school's boring me already, Dai-chan." "We should find a toy to keep us busy, don'tcha think Shu-chan?"
Appearance: Dai&Shun
Played by: Yukyoru

Name: Roxas 'Aiko' kawaii
Age: 16 but appears 14
Power/Ability: He's a neko, and he can control the elements with strong emotions. Example: when he is extremely sad, it pours.
Orientation: Seems to be gay, but it is unknown because of the way he acts around certain boys.
Seme/Seke/Uke: Uke
Personality:He is a very strange boy, in the way that he seems to be very different in how he acts, and by what he makes people think of him. Example: Acts as if he hates a person, then out of no where asks them if they'd like to have tea with him. He has a very erratic behaviour, which makes most keep their distance. The cause of his 'erractic behavior' is from the fact that his parents left him, without a word or reason, others picking on him for the fact he is different, and that he moved to foster home, to foster home without an explanation or anything at all, other than a cruel look and a goodbye. He really can be kind, but out of nowhere will yell at someone for no apparent reason. At times he acts very girlish. He is extremely childish, and can be a little bit of a rebel at times, the reason being that he never got a clear lesson of morals and such from his foster parents. He's usually the quietest one, keeping everything to himself, even if he was in class and didn't understand what the teacher was teaching. Usually when he talks, he has a very quiet, but sweet voice, he may even stutter, and will blush madly out of shyness. He acts like a neko, obviously because of his appearance. He will sometimes burst out laughing, or suddenly meow, for no apparent reason. He never talks about his past, which makes most question him about it. But he seems to ignore questions, and will act as if he didn't hear them, when they know he can easily hear people several yards away. He loves smelling things, and figuring out how things work. He is very curious, and gets into trouble sometimes because of that, possibly he is curious because of the fact he's a neko. He is often seen sketching, writing stories, poems, or songs. He can be very emotional at times, and will attack when he is annoyed, and angered enough, but that rarely happens because he easily forgives people, and will tend to hold in anger untill he is where he cannot harm, or bother anyone, to let it out. On top of that, it's rare that he actrually talks to anyone and is always far away from crowds of people, making it really rare that he gets angry, because if he does hear something that upsets him, he ignores it, especially if it wasn't ment for him to hear.
History:When he was born he looked like a little neko boy, which had startled his parents, afraid of what their friends, neighbours, and how he would be treated by others, they ditched him in a forest when he was around 5. After being found by a man in the forest, he went to a foster home, only to be moved to another foster home, and another. It continued like that untill one foster home, who was near the boarding school, decided it was best for him to go there. By the time that happened he turned 16. He walks around with a small stuffed black and pink hamster by the name of Anna-chan. He would do almost anything to keep her with him at all times. He acts as if the hamster was real, and can be seen chatting with it, or singing to it. He dyed his hair when he was 14, because he had found a bottle of green hair dye, and was curious as to how it worked, and how it would look on him. It's been that color ever since. Nothing else is known about him.
Appearance: http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j94/kai-lah/lolol_gay_neko__colored__by_Kawaii_.jpg His eyes are icy blue, and his pupils will become slits when angered, also when he is angered his claws and fangs will grow. He always is seen with a black headband, and colorful, unique but strange clothing. Which matches his personality.

The Characters-- Teachers

Name: Tatatsu Kitahashi
Age: 32
Power/Ability: Empathy (The ability to sense other's emotions)
Subject Taught: Advanced Psychology
Orientation: Bisexual
Seme/Seke/Uke: Seke
Personality: Sometimes Tatatsu tries to help a little more than he really should be helping. Really, he can't help it. His interest has always been and always will be in trying to help people work through their problems. Even though he only tries to help, he knows that sometimes he must really get on the nerves of anybody who really comes into contact with him. Usually he's no-nonsense and often very practical. He's never in the world denied himself from getting close to someone, and he isn't scared to. Being a mature and well-rounded man, he often times can sense danger from a mile away. Rarely does he hate anyone, but when he does he can become cold and distant towards anyone involved with the person.
Even though at heart, Tatatsu is a problem-solver, he often prefers to observe than be involved. At times he will let something go on for a while and stand off to the side; while this can sometimes be taken as apathy, it isn't. Tatatsu is the type of person who tries to observe everything, in even normal situations. He can take the time to notice things that other people won't. Tatatsu rarely avoids someone because of their opinions towards any sort of idea in life, but it seems that he gravitates towards more practical thinkers rather than risk-takers and people who have extremely radical ways of thinking. At times he can appear quiet, unless he is directly addressed. Being a more analytical type of person, he likes to figure things out rather than dive headfirst into foreign territory. This just goes to show you that Tatatsu has never been a risk-taker.
After a certain incident with some rather cruel people, Tatatsu lost part of him that used to really be stoic. Although he still isn't sensitive, things a lot easier affect him than he once was, and he worries a lot more.
History: Tatatsu was born and has lived in Japan all his life. As a child, Tatatsu lived a very stable life without any sort of worries, be it about 'gifts' that troubled some youth his age, or teasing and bullying. Always being the type to sit at the back of the class and study, he was a neutral sort of person who made very few friends, and even less enemies. From childhood, Tatatsu would act oddly mature and stable for his age; he was a hard person to wound, at least emotionally speaking. Perhaps this was because he grew up in a single-parent household with his mother.
After Tatatsu graduated high school, he went on to study psychology at Tokyo University. Upon graduation, he went to work as a therapist at a large firm and dealt with patients on a day-to-day basis. It was pretty much all he could ask for. Problems didn't start to arise until he was about twenty-five. He was living a steady life, with a boyfriend. After his powers appeared, he and his lover began to fight. Tatatsu had been raised in a very accepting household about the sort of thing, but his lover had not. After dealing with a lot of spite from the man, a full-fledged fight finally broke out between the two and ended with Tatatsu kicking him out of the apartment they shared. From that point on, he went missing, and no matter how hard Tatatsu looked for him, he was not able to find his love.
Finally sick of the ridicule he received at work from his patients, and even his coworkers, Tatatsu quit his job not even a month after his boyfriend had gone missing. Hearing that he would be able to receive help with controlling his abilities, he sought the help of a rather famous man, a wealthy benefactor who ran a prestigious boarding school just outside of Tokyo, Yato Jihang. The man coached him in his ability while also providing Tatatsu with the job of teaching advanced psychology to some of the younger students.
Appearance: Tatatsu's rather tall for being a full-blooded Japanese--he stands at about 5'9". He wears glasses all the time, and though he doesn't like how they make him look, he'd be walking into walls without them. Being a typical Japanese, he has the black hair and brown eyes; Tatatsu's hair goes just slightly past his ears, but he always makes sure to keep it neat and make sure that it doesn't get too long. He dresses basically as all other teachers do, in a nice shirt, a tie, and good pants. Around his neck he wears an old pendent, which is usually kept hidden under his shirt. It's rumored among some of the other teachers that it was from a boyfriend, who possibly broke up with him or died. Nobody knows for sure though; every time somebody's gotten up the nerve to ask about it, Tatatsu's refused to talk. All that anybody knows is that whomever gave him the necklace was very important to them, and he is still very attached to the person; some even say that he's still in love with said person. Sometimes, without warning, Tatatsu's eyes will flash from their usual dark brown to a piercing silvery-white. This is unexplained, and it is not a power. There is no way to control it, no way to prevent it, and no way to connect it to anything logical except for the fact that it may be able to be interpreted as a warning sign.
Tatatsu is also very thin and lanky. Since he's never been much of an athlete he isn't very muscled at all; he's just one of those people who is grateful to have the gift of an extremely high metabolism and not much of an appetite, even at such a late age.
Played by: +Kyoka-chan+

Name: Sakuma Ryuuichi
Age: 42 (though he only looks 25)
Power/Ability: Ryuuichi can send subliminal messages through his songs, though he rarely uses it when he's recording for his group, Nittle Grasper. And even when he does use that gift, he only does so to help, rather than harm. He does have the potential to cause one to fall asleep, or to give them a headache, through his singing voice. He just don't like to hurt people unless there's no other choice.

Ryuuichi could also detect the "gifted" by the "song" they give off. Fire-starters are full of rumbling percussion and sharp brass. Wind walkers echo with wind instruments. Water-shapers hum with the strings. And those with the powers of earth are mellow, deep, and generably noble. Those are just examples of how Ryuuichi "hear" people. But he could also tell what type of person they are by how soft or harsh their "song" is. However, this other gift has made him uncomfortable around most psychics; he tended to view them as nosy people with little respect for one's privacy. He has found an exception among the empaths, though--especially with Tatatsu. Ryuuichi's second gift could also pick up one's gift being used at the moment, though he either has to be very close to the person, or it has to be used on a large scale for him to "hear" it. The reason is that Ryuuichi had to "tone it down" for the school, or he would be bombarded with everyone's "songs". However, this use of his gift could actually help with the current crisis...
Subjects Taught: Music theory and Chorus; he gives private lessons to those who have their own "gifted" voices.
Orientation: Bi
Seme/Seke/Uke: Seke, though often mistaken as uke
Personality: Ryuuichi is a fun-loving, rather child-like adult who lives life to the fullest. Some might view him as immature, especially since his "best friend" is a stuffed pink rabbit named Kumagorou, which he always takes with him and act as if it's a living being. He does have his serious moments--usually if it's related to music in any way. Fame hardly bothers him around the school; in fact, he's rather proud that his music has touched so many people. He's very soft-hearted, and anything that's horrific will be very difficult for him to deal with. Thus, he hates horror movies and anything that shows a lot of gore and "scary stuff". He's not a coward--in fact, he's extremely loyal to his friends and loves ones. He knows very well that he's not a fighter.

But Ryuuichi, despite his childishness, is a mature man, one who has fulfilled his dream of having a successful music career. And because of said career, he's seen the ups and downs of life through himself and his bandmates. Beneath that silly and sometimes impulsive exterier lies the wisdom and kindness developed over a generation. He sees himself as a positive role model for future musicians, and he does his best to live up to that ideal.
History: Ryuuichi's father though he was "strange" for liking guys and girls. So, he was sent to the Tokyo School in his youth to "sort himself out." Unknown to dear old Papa, though, Ryuuichi was already developing his musical talents, and the school was exactly what he needed to prepare him for the music industry. Because of his love for music and his gregarian nature, he grew to become one of the success stories of the school. It was also around that time that he found Kumagorou, and the two have been inseperable ever since.

Once Ryuuichi graduated, he became the lead singer and songwriter of the band Nittle Grasper. They were a national sensation, and after 20 years together, their fame became legendary. But it was around that time that the band broke up, and Ryuuichi went to America as a solo artist. Three years past, and he returned to Japan and to his friends. Nittle Grasper was reformed, and they were a huge hit once again.

Then came Headmaster Yato's offer of becoming the new chorus teacher at Ryuuichi's alma mater, and the singer couldn't turn down the chance to help guide the next generation of "gifted" musicians. Even today, though, he'll still record music whenever he gets a chance.
Appearance: Sakuma has reddish-brown hair and matching eyes. While he dresses nicely enough for the school, he doesn't dress like all the other teachers--aka, no fancy suits or ties. Often, he has Kumagorou ride on his head when he's going between classes, though he usually lets him "sleep" on the desk while he teaches. He only dresses in formal outfits if any of his students are giving a performance, or if he is meeting with the media with his band. The only time he would dress in any other way is when he is performing, and all of Japan knows how amazing--and sometimes shocking--the musician's outfits are these days...
Played by: N-finiteFangirl

Name: Alexander Blake
Age: Twenty-Seven

Orientation: Bi Sexual
Seme/Seke/Uke: Seme
Personality: Alexander, Alex for short, Is a genuinly nice person, He loves his job, and loves his classes, just Don't got him too, angry, it's scary. Played by: Rybus Ryo

Name: Zahi Driscoll
Age: 30
Power/Ability: He has spells where he goes into a vision-induced trance. He paints his visions while in the trance.
Subject Taught: Art
Orientation: Gay
Seme/Seke/Uke: Uke
Personality: Quiet and reserved anywhere outside of the art room, a startling contrast to how impassioned he can get inside. He can get annoyingly stubborn with the things he believes in, and gets quite flustered if things don’t go the way he thinks they should. He is always doing some sort of art project, often more than three at once. On the outside he tries to seem optimistic, even though it’s quite the opposite inside.
History: Zahi was born and raised in the USA. His love for painting appeared quite early in his life and he began to get art scholarships as early as sixth grade. In middle school his parents began noticing that their son would go into strange “painting spurs” that often resulted in disturbing images of crashes and other disasters. They initially thought it was some sort of phase. It wasn’t until a news bulletin about a plain crash in the mountains that they noticed that the image on the news looked identical to one of their son’s recent works. They said nothing about it as it happened again and again, hopping it would just go away with time. Then, when Zahi was in tenth grade something happened at his school that caused his parents to pull him out of school and move a few states over. They got word of the Tokyo school, but they did not have the money to send their boy. He managed to get through college without too much trouble and eventually ended up as a teacher in the institution his parents had believed he would be safe at.
Appearance: The think most people notice about him first is his vibrant red hair, which he keeps tied back in a loose ponytail. It has a little bit of curl to it and seems to be in a constant state of untidiness. This goes for the rest of him as well. As an art teacher it is hard for him to keep his clothes clean, nearly every garment he owns has at least one stain from some sort of artistic medium. His most common attire is a loose fitting dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows and jeans, though he changes into something a little dressier whenever he goes to formal meetings and things. His cheeks are lightly freckled, but often hidden with charcoal smudges. He also sports ice blue eyes and is an astounding 4’ 11”.

The Characters-- Spies

Name: Kai Shinta
Age: 33
Power/Ability: Telepathy and a bit of telekinesis
Purpose: Kai was instructed to merely relay information and to be the one to tip the line of Dominos when the time is right. Also because of his age, he has been considered by default to be the “caretaker” of the younger spies within the school.
Orientation: Bisexual
Seme/Seke/Uke: Seme unless his partner is someone of a higher authority and whom he deeply respects.
Personality: Kai is a very realistic person, even if there are times he tries a bit too hard to strive for perfection. However, he understands his physical and mental limits and how much he is capable of. Because of his realistic views, he is quick to point out flaws or weaknesses and may even come off as a bit too blunt. Despite his bluntness, Most of the time he means well. He is very strict in the instruction of his classes, but at the same time he tries to extend to every single student as an understanding and kind person. Kai is often taken as the soft-hearted type, someone who would do anything to see another person smile and be happy. Many students, and colleagues as well, find that he is an easy person to trust and is always willing to spare some of his time to just listen to whatever troubles they would care to lay down at his feet. He doesn’t make any rash decisions, choosing to pick his words only after having thought through them first. Many times his words are lined with a sarcasm that is quick to find mistakes before complimenting on strengths. It may seem a bit pessimistic in a way, but he really means them to be more words of optimism than the other. He is extremely hard-working and studious, preferring to read or grade papers over attending a party with the other teachers.

However, this is only the type of person everyone else thinks Kai is. Underneath this façade of good intentions is a twisted sense and sick mind of a man who has seen several too many bloodsheds done by his own hands. “Sadistic” doesn’t even begin to describe how disturbing he could get. This perverse side of him is very cold, harsh, and calculating, lacking the patience and understanding the kinder half of him holds. He has an extremely short fuse that can be blown by even the smallest mistake in his perfect plans, which is why he doesn’t place his trust in many people. He uses his intelligence to the extent of his ability, often coming up with answers even before having enough time to comprehend a question or speaking his mind without thinking. Manipulating other people is like a child’s favorite pastime to him; for Kai, it is all done with the sinister intent of getting rid of anyone who stands in his way. Very few people have been given the privilege of seeing this alternate side of his personality. Most of those who have are no longer alive to speak of it.
History: Born as an illegitimate child, Kai was the result of an affair his mother had with another man when her husband was too busy to pay her any attention. To keep his mother happy though, his father tried the best he could to accept the son who didn’t share the same blood as his. He treated Kai as with the kindness and patience of a good father, but that was all of a sudden cast aside when Kai’s parents discovered that he wasn’t a natural human being. After all, no natural child should have supernatural powers. After that, both of his parents regarded him only as a demon child. Another sign that Kai wasn’t a normal child was that his eyes weren’t of any color known to humans, let alone the typical brown of Japanese heritage. Instead, they were a light silvery-grey.

Having nothing else to do and no one who would consider him a friend, Kai placed all of his concentration into his studies. He lived in his own world, never caring to have anything to do with anything that didn’t pertain to him. In elementary school, he often talked to himself, maybe to make up for the fact that there was no one to listen to him. Or it could’ve been that he was talking to the thoughts and voices his telepathy powers picked up from other people. Nonetheless, his parents immediately took their child to the psychiatrist who diagnosed him with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. All the more reason to avoid him. It wasn’t until the second year of middle school when a classmate accepted Kai for who he was, not who he looked like. After that, Kai stopped talking to himself and actually outwardly appeared to have transformed into a normal 13-year-old boy. With the help of his newfound friend, he learned the universal unwritten laws to become accepted into society. He hid his powers from everyone else, keeping the secret to only himself. One friend grew to two. Two grew to three. By the time he graduated from high school with perfect grades and top scores on the college entrance exams, Kai had expanded what used to be a limited world view to include at least several dozen other people. Even by then, his parents believed that the gods had given them back their rightful normal son.

At Tokyo University, Kai studied medicine with the intent on becoming a doctor, just as his parents would’ve liked him to become. He whisked through all of the required courses and was even daring enough to venture out and try some new activities he had never done before. But in the same month as when he received his degrees in the field of medicine, he disappeared. No one knew where he went off to. There were rumors that had already found a high-paying job at a large company or that he started working for some undercover agency. Yet others believed that he died in some accident. Whatever the rumor was, no one could trace him.

It wasn’t until two years ago when Kai finally reappeared as a teacher at Tokyo Boarding School. No one knows what happened between the moments he graduated from Tokyo University and when he started teaching at the school for gifted students, and none of the other teachers have been brave enough to ask. All that matters is that Yato Jihang found Kai qualified enough to teach.
Appearance: Standing at a little bit below 5 foot 10, Kai has a tall lanky body that is by no means very thin. Over the years, he has exercised just enough to keep himself physically healthy. His black hair is kept above shoulder length; the longest locks frame the sides of his face and come down to just below his chin. A single lock of dyed red hair streaks through the right side of his head. His hair is very easily to maintain, requiring only minimal brushing for the hairs to fall simply into their natural positions. A very distinguishing feature that sets him apart from all other typical Japanese are his sharp silvery-grey eyes. Sometimes, his sharp eyes flatly contradict his warm personality, but those times are few. Besides, silver eyes may just look naturally cold due to their color. His skin is light and pale, indicating towards the minimal amount of time he spends under the sun. Kai’s fingers are long and thin and may have belonged to someone who played the piano extensively. However, no one has ever heard him play any instrument, let alone the piano. His clothing consists of what all the other teachers in the school wears: a nice button-down shirt, a tie, and good slacks with sometimes the accompaniment of a jacket.

Name: Semn (last name unknown, but uses "Yavaru" on his student records)
Age: 16
Power/Ability: He is able to conjure balls of light for late night reading and such, but that is about the extent of his magical abilities. He is also quite intelligent. Semn also has the ability to hide information and other thoughts in the dark recesses of his mind, far enough so that those with psychic powers would not be able to find them in just a normal scan.
Purpose: Because of his ability to hide information in his mind from even himself, he was chosen to transport information and a mind-link system to connect and organize the spies that are currently at the school. He takes orders from the leader directly.
Orientation: Doesn't know, he hasn't been around people long enough. Though, he has seemed to have developed a crush on Aku.
Seme/Seke/Uke: Seke (completely depends on the person)
Personality: Is more of an observer than a conversation starter, but will talk to people on a whim. He carries a notebook with him at all times and is constantly writing stories, poetry, and drawings in it. For the most part he is calm and polite, but when he is angered he can become quite violent. Unknown to anyone who isn’t a spy, he also has his slightly sadistic side. He keeps this side of himself well hidden though. Hates talking about his past and will become distant when asked about it. He takes his job of being a spy dutifully and trusts the leader of the spies completely, almost blindly. Watching people die doesn’t really bother him, as he has seen quite a lot of it in his life, and sometimes has a hard time pretending to be.
History: He doesn’t remember his parents, they died when he was very young. The earliest thing he can remember is living on the street, barely able to get by. Then when he was almost eight a man found him and took him in, saving him from the dismal life he was leading. Several years later he appeared as a new student at the boarding school.
Appearance: He has short, dark green hair that curls a little in the back and has long, straight bangs in the front. Glasses frame his bright purple eyes and he is practically blind without them. His complexion is pale, but not unnaturally so. Standing at about 5’8”, he has a rather thin build, which at times can make him seem really frail. His choice in clothing is nothing special: button-up long-sleeve shirts in various neutral colors and jeans or dark colored cloth pants. When it's cold he adds a long black coat to the ensemble.

Name: Cillian Leroy
Age: 16
Power/Ability: Psychometry (touch things/people and know its/their history)
Purpose: Collection of information.
Orientation: Bisexual but currently feeling very asexual
Seme/Seke/Uke: Seme

Personality: He is an absolute and utter brat. Some might call him sociopathic. Both overly cheerful and full of tricks, he loves games. He seems to be more amoral than immoral and doesn't see anything wrong with hurting someone for upsetting him. Although benign when he is happy, once someone has angered him he can be vicious and cruel. And he is always controlling, he dislikes having anyone directing what he does. Most of the time though he's happy enough pretending to be the little kid.

He is technically required to wear gloves but he doesn't because it amuses him to see people trying their best to avoid touching him.

History: He is from a long line of psychics. He has a twin, Cael, who is a telekinetic and a younger brother, Devin, a seer. They are both home trained but Cillian proved to be too difficult to control so he was sent away.

He has what most people would call an angsty childhood. When he was ten his cousin raped him in the folly of the family house. Since he has psychometry this was a very traumatising experience for him. Hence why he is asexual. He has little interest in sex and on the very rare occassion he participates in hormonal activities, he is a seme.

Rules

[x] Nobody is a god—no perfect characters, no power playing, no gary-stu, and most certainly no auto-killing. If a character is to die, the creator of said character MUST agree with it. No exceptions.
[x] On Characters—you may play up to three. If you want more, I may allow it, if I see fit. Characters may have any sort of gift, or no gift at all. Limit two powers per character, please.
[x] No girls, no exceptions. Girls may play boy characters, but girl characters aren’t allowed.
[x] Try only to speak in OOC in the In-character thread only when absolutely necessary. There’s an OOC thread for a reason, people.
[x] Any people wishing to join MUST PM me their profile; it may not be posted in the thread. Otherwise, your profile will be disregarded.
[x] Please don’t be rude to anyone.
[x] Seeing as this is a yaoi thread, anyone who opposes such a thing should leave. If you can’t tolerate it, then this isn’t the place for you.
[x] Try and keep your font size 9-11. Yeah… this wasn’t a rule in the last thread, but it makes everything look a lot neater.
[x] Originality is a must.
[x] Please title your PM “I’ve read the rules” Corny, I know, but you’d imagine it would tell me that you’ve read the rules.
[x] For NPC-like characters—these are characters that have been created, but by nobody in particular. They can be used and played by anyone. If a character becomes important enough, I may appoint someone to play said character. Only I can add NPC characters. If you want me to add one that’s been hovering around for a while, we’ll discuss.
[x] Rules can be added without your permission, even though I’ll usually ask first.
[x] Know the definition of literacy. Anywhere from five sentences up is fine. If your grammar is proper, and you can write a fairly decent paragraph, then it’s fine.
[x] Posting-- I don't want to have a problem with you. I will assume that something has happened if members don't post for a long time. I'm not afraid to remove anyone, though. If you don't post for a week, you will be mailed a warning. If you haven't posted in three days' time, unless you can provide an adequate excuse, you will be formally be removed.
[x] Another thing; don't come and only post for three or four days. This is a long term roleplay, and I have a lot going on right now to be worrying about groups of people who make me run around busying myself with the profiles of people who won't even stick with the roleplay in the long run.
[x] If you really can't keep up with the roleplay, just ask. It makes me happier to know that you just can't anymore, and honestly, it saves me a lot of worry.
[x] Any questions? Just ask in OOC or PM me. We're all glad to answer any questions you may have.
[x] Spies are the villians of this roleplay, but the main characters should not know that off the bat. Spies are treated by their peers and collegues as normal people, save for the few people that are suspcious of their whereabouts. Spies can either acts as students or teachers; it just depends on your character's age.
[x] Follow both gaia's TOS and the general PG-13 rule. You may go no higher than that. Cybering is strictly forbidden.

((Yay, it's open! heart Let's get this show on the road, shall we?))

Sakuma Ryuuichi sat at his desk in the now-empty classroom, head in his hands. After seeing the scene of the horrible attack, and then seeing them wheel the poor lad--Garrent, he thought, was the lad's name--into the infirmary...

He didn't mean to flip out about Kai, now that he had time to think about it. While the man didn't "sound" right to the musician's second ears--the fellow teacher sounded a little too harsh for Sakuma's tastes; almost like heavy metal/industrial techno mix--Kai obviously didn't have a direct hand in harming the boy. And also, Ryuuichi himself wasn't exactly calm when he uttered his suspicions around Tatatsu and Drake...

I owe them an apology, Ryuuichi thought. I didn't mean to upset them, especially Drake; he's still getting over what happened to one of the other students last night. And Tatatsu-kun...

A light blush crept up onto his cheeks at the very thought of the psychology teacher. The man was very handsome, and his "song" was very soft and soothing; almost warm and gentle...

"Maybe you should go talk to him, then!"

Ryuuichi looked at his best friend on top of his books: a plush pink rabbit. "You're sure, Kumagorou? I dunno if he wants to talk to me right now; he might be busy..."

"Or maybe he's not, and he wishes for your company. I can't always be with you, Ryuu-kun. Besides, who's to say that he doesn't feel the same way about you?"

"Kumagorou!!" Ryuuichi blushed deeply.

"Just go talk with him," The rabbit insisted. "At the very least, he'll appreciate your company in this trouble time."

"...You might be right. Okay, let's go see Tatatsu-kun." Naturally, Ryuuichi doesn't care 'bout the fact that only he could hear Kumagorou "speak"...
Time had passed since the initial shock of the attack on the young boy. Things had seldom quieted down, since, too. Perhaps it was the uproar about the facty that classes had been canceled. But of course, this was a very serious matter. Tatatsu was concerned about what they were going to do now; after all there had been three attacks from what he knew. He couldn't decide whether or not he really should talk to Yato Jihang about it. Of course, he trusted the man, but he suspected that the headmaster knew little more than he did about the situation.

Right now he was free from the duties of watching over the children in the infirmary. The nurse had let him go shortly after lunch. In fact, Tatatsu was very glad for the day off. It gave him a much needed chance to catch up on grading papers that he'd had piling up on his desk for ages. There were so many to grade, but that was perhaps because even on in-class worksheets, Tatatsu took them to grade.

Usually his students were brilliant, so the points only helped them along in the long run. However, it only seemed to make more work for the psychology teacher. Maybe he should just start taking homework and tests for a grade. Then, at least, he wouldn't have to worry any longer about how much he really had to grade.

Ever since the incident in the infirmary with Ryuuichi, Drake, and Kai, he hadn't seen any one of the teachers. Kai seemed fine, but Ryuuichi and Drake were literally an emotional mess. Tatatsu suspected that Drake was still suffering greatly from the loss of the student not even a short while ago. Ryuuichi, of course, had been shaken by the vicitm today, and probably the eerie words on the wall. Some teachers had already gone down to that hallway to dispel the large, and rather curious crowd. Then, they had preceeded to scrub the wall and the floor, until not a trace of crimson remained. Perhaps he should check on Ryuuichi, just to make sure that the man was all right.

Shrugging slightly, he resolved to do it so soon as he finished grading all the papers on his desk. It shouldn't have been that hard, but right now he seemed to be struggling with the task. After a few minutes without much project, he sighed and got to his feet. There wasn't much he could do right now, it seemed. Maybe it would be better for him just to find Ryuuichi. After his mind was clearer he could finish grading.

After straightening all the things on his desk, he set out to find Ryuuichi. He didn't know where the man may have gone too, but he assumed that the best place too check for him would be in his classroom first, and then perhaps by the area where the teachers' dormitories were. So that was in the direction he headed, back towards where he knew Ryuuichi's classroom was. It was a ways away, and it took him a few minutes to reach the hallway, but he did. Right now, it seemed oddly devoid of people. All the students must have gone back to their dormitories or somewhere else.
Kai had chosen to take the long route back to his classroom. There were too many things to think about and his legs were restless. Sitting down in front of a desk with so many things in mind would only distract him from the stack of newly turned-in homework he had to grade. Outwardly he didn't appear to have been as shaken the students or other teachers. The only sign of his concern on the matters of the situation was the hard concentrated stares his silvery-grey eyes emitted upon objects moving past his vision.

The image of the bloody message was still fresh in his mind. It dripped of fresh blood over the white walls and had even begun to stain the tiled floor. The half massacred body was so thoroughly soaked in the crimson fluid that it was difficult to tell where the ends of the student's clothing ended and the puddle of blood began.

Death against resistance

Clearly it was a threatening message, but whoever wrote it definately lacked a sense of proper grammer.

The edges of Kai's lips twitched upwards wryly before settling back down into his worried grimace. Thankfully that small obscure action was carefully concealed behind a curtain of his black hair around his lowered head.

Proper grammar aside, it was still a message that could have multiple meanings. The death part was clear enough, but what resistance? What was there to resist against who's only consequence was death?

Somehow his feet led him to walk past the hallway the terrible incident occured. He paused there for a moment, sending the teachers who had scrubbed the wall and floors a mental gratitude. There were no longer any traces of the attack happening earlier that morning except for the light pink that still stained a few edges and cracks. But even with the evidence cleaned away, Kai could still picture the bloody mess that was there before.

Looking up, the dark-haired teacher sighed as he realized his classroom was only a few yards away. Might as well finish grading those papers as he didn't have anything else to do until the meeting Yato Jihang had called to take place in the afternoon. There wasn't anything for him to brood over anymore; not anything that he hadn't thought about several times already.

But as he walked past, Kai didn't seem to notice a small permenant marker scribbling madly away upon the freshly washed white walls. However, no person was doing the writing. The black marker had no holder; it was levitating on its own.

The terrible accident has now pass away
And a white lamb was sacrificed
It will be soon, today today;
Darkness shall cover Eden
Sins will be made
When the gates have been thrown open
Down will pureness be laid
And up shall sing the song of Satan
To stir the evil throughout the land.
