THE GAIAN HOVERBOARD PETITION
The Hoverboard is a futuristic item that we believe would be very well accepted among the fans of Gaia. Below are multiple designs that have been turned in so far.
The goal of the petition is not to make these designs available on Gaia. It is to promote the idea of a hoverboard on Gaia and to show how many possible ways it could be used. The fan base for such an item(s) would stretch over many groups.

Yes and even the legendary Johnny Quest.
The possible supporters have also been from a background in skateboarding, surfing and snowboarding. The request for stickers to adorn the boards is also apparent within the petitions pages.
We've decided to lay out a design that has multiple poses and could be used in the Gaia Towns area like the UFO's. The idea of floating around in Towns on a hoverboard is quite exciting to us. It's easy to picture someone flying over the trees trying to catch butterflies with one of these. Or chasing after a Zurg in his UFO.
A while back a petition signer named Atherton even suggest the idea of a game where Gaian members could race with the boards. This seems like a wonderful suggestion and one that I'm sure many would be interested in playing.
Since that suggestion Gaia has added the Scion and UFO racing game. Customizable Hoverboards would fit perfectly into this area of the site and would be a much less bulky item. Gaian's could buy the stickers and colors as additions to a basic board. I tell ya. It's really an Exciting idea to us.
