Hey there, thanks for stopping by the We Want Ian Back! Petition, this petition was started back in November 2006 as a way for the Ian fan club known as Ian's Bar and Grill to make our position clear on this subject, that Ian was important to us and he should be back in his shop window where he belongs.

When this petition was first posted, it was 2006, an indecisive time in the storyline, when Ian, Sasha, and Moira were all in danger of being squished by the monstrosity I've come to call "GamGino". Rufus was all alone in the shops and going nuts, and we were all worried about our blond and pretty shopkeeper. It was a post-trial, pre-answers time, when Ian's life had been threatened and almost snatched away. We just wanted him back. He went missing and we didnt know where to.

As I write this, the storyline has progressed enough were we now know who Ian's real parents are, his true names, and such that we are unsure of his future.

But let me assure you, we still want him back. Ian will forever be the shopkeeper of Barton Boutique in our hearts and minds, and Rufus shouldn't have to be alone anymore. We know where he is, we know what he's doing now, but we still want him back in that storefront.

Thank you for stopping by and giving us a look-over, though, the original list, as it was posted on the page for almost a year, it is missing hundreds of names that have been posted here, and I'm sure we've collected almost 3 thousand signatures by this time, but As of August, 2007, this page is no longer updated. I say thanks to everyone who posted showing their support and their love for Ian.

We Want Ian Back! FOREVER! We miss his face when we click on "shops" we miss his smile and his cute little hat and leaf, we miss his nerdy facade, and we miss his "Welcome Back!" We will forever want him back in his storefront. we still love him with his plot involvement, but he has a place in the town of Barton, as a fixture of this community.

WHO IS IAN?! Ian's history and where he came from!

Ian is the son of two boutique owners. he is from a long line of them, and their gimmick to their shops is that they all have Talking cats! Unfortunately, Rufus is the last in the line of talking cats...

Ian's store, the Barton Boutique, wasn't always located in Barton. It used to be called the Isle de Native Boutique and existed there, where Sasha and Ruby's shops now sit. When Johnny Gambino became the richest man in Gaia after a romp trough Gold Mountain Casino, he BOUGHT the Isle de Native and renamed it the Isle of Gambino and voided Ian's deed to the land. He was forced to move his outfit to Barton Town, south of the Island.

Because of this, he harbors a strong hatred for Johnny K. Gambino, and is ashamed that he let his family down for not standing his ground with the man. But on he goes, building his shop once again into and institution of Gaia.

He was raised alongside Ruby, they were childhood friends. Chances are, he was there through all the unpleasantness that lead to Peyo being now-fatherless. Yet he and Ruby remained utter friends, despite his spastic ways. He watches after Peyo from time to time, they have him over for holidays, they make a model family picture... but Ian has eyes for another girl.

Sasha. The proprietress of Gambino Outfitters. The dizziest woman in Gaia. After many failed attempts at courting Sasha, despite her blossoming relationship with Gino/Johnny, it took him being shot for her to realize that he liked her and he gave her a diamond Seashell. however she didn't learn her lesson and soon found herself dating Liam of Aekea. After the 3 women Moira, Vanessa, and Sasha found out that he was triple timing them, that quickly ended... but now he still harbors a love for Sasha and follows her around, leaving Rufus to fend for himself in the shop.

Poor Ian, he's a hobo now with no place to live!
