Windigos are rp-necessary pets. So there are a few rping rules:
-if you do not rp your windigo
at all in the shop, it will be taken away without a refund. You will receive warnings before this happens.
-you must post at least once every two weeks in your windigo's diary (if you for some reason cannot, pm Sika-chan ahead of time so that she am aware)
-please keep things pg-13 in the thread, and R in your journals.
Now, onto the fun stuff ^^
In each stage, your windigo is different. Here is a guide about each known stage so you will know more about how your Windigo acts.
Aura Stage: At this time your windigo is a floating aura. Material objects pass right through it, but magical items do not (and may harm it if they are dangerous). To communicate, they may make humming noises as a result of the tension in their mass. In layman's terms, they hum when they are mad. They can communicate telepathically with short phrases (which are more difficult for them) or a series of images (which they prefer).
Human Stage: When they find the right host, a windigo will bring home a human or humanoid creature. Their aura is stretched around the host, giving them a faint glow. The humanoid has a personality of its own, and is aware that there is something trying to change it. Each host's reaction to the aura is different. The host will stay with you until it finally meets an agreement with the aura.

exclaim : at this stage, you may stop your aura from transforming the host. To do this, just rp your humanoid forcing the aura from itself (which is a hard and long task for the humanoid). This stops the aura from luring the host into pandora's box, and changing it into a windigo. If you do this, however, you are expelled from your redou and become a wanderer. Thus, you cannot compete in redou challenges. This is not recommended.))

Redou
wendigo that all share a common element make up a
redou, which is a group or pard. every group needs a leader, and that's were the daiou comes in. the
daiou is the leader of each redou. any fights between a redou's members will be dealt with by the daiou and each special event we have where redous compete will be led by the daious.
each time we release a new batch of wendigos, it will have a main elemental theme. three will be sold in a flatsale, but the daiou of each batch will be auctioned off. if we do any pet trades in between batches, they will be of the previous batch's element and redou.
since we are first starting, there is only the fire redou, and the wanderers (aubrey and shinkansen). however, we plan to make many more. special events will start when we have three redous, and continue on from there.
the rare customs, such as shinkansen and aubrey, are wanderers. they cannot be accepted into a redou, but they can become allies with a redou (special events will not be influenced by any alliances that CWL's shinkansen and Sika's aubrey have with any redou)

what: once each redou is in their windigo stage, they brainstorm and come up with a weapon/object that will be their redou's. the daiou will have it in her certificate, and it will represent its group (like a sword, or an orb, etc)
why: it would be useful in special events and such, like a game of steal the other radou's item, etc. It also is a symbol of the redou.
how: the redou plot and brainstorm and choose the best idea. it should somehow represent their element in a vague way, and they should explain how it does. and then the daiou gets the final say in what the item will be

Faeries
Faeries are for rare windigo's only. they embody the special element that makes your windigo unique, and act as a familiar to the windigo for life.
Levels
there are five levels of windigo, one is the highest and five is the lowest. your windigo is more powerful with each rising level (to be used for rp terms) i may have individual stats put up eventually.
to raise your level, you must rp. if you do it well and fairly frequently, you might get raised a level. if you are helpful and/or kind in this thread or the rp, you might get raised a level. but you must show a strong affection for your wendigo.
