i'm surprised noone has posted about this new TCG yet.
so, anyone else plays it?
it takes elements from MtG, VS, L5R, and quite a bit of other games and mesh with the WoW flavor to make a pretty good game.
i liked it so far and have deck ideas ready to post if i find people to discuss with.
most of the rules are cake if you know MtG and the specifics are pretty easy to understand also. so far UDE hasn't screwed it up other than under-anticipating the public demand.
for those interested, read rules/get demo decks at ude.com/wow (tried linking it but failed several times)
Updates:
- WoW Builder - deck-building program. it's a nice tool where you can pick a hero and only look at cards that hero can use in the deck. there's no randomizer for gold-fishing though.
- Onyxia Loot - Onyxia Lair is the first of Raid decks to come. it's a small set, not exactly another expansion, that lets a group of players take down the Dragon Onyxia to win loots. i haven't tried it yet but looks interesting.
- MWS - a good deck-building program with test-play capabilities. the filter function is kinda lacking so i would suggest using WoW Builder to build it first and then transferring it over to MWS to goldfish.
- WoW Base - the WoW database for the above program.
