This is a Literate Kingdom Hearts Role Play. And yes, I do mean l.i.t.e.r.a.t.e. through and through. If you don't know what that means, sorry hun, but Get Out. For those of you that do, please come in and continue to read through whats ahead! This Role Play will take place where Kingdom Hearts 2 began. Sora has not yet awaken, Roxas has not yet fought Riku for the first time, and in fact, Roxas hasn't even learned that much about Sora yet! Meaning, no, the dreams of Sora have not yet started. Kairi does not yet have her keyblade, but Riku has his.

What happens when the most important person in the world becomes trapped in sleep? A girl named Namine` put our hero Sora into a deep slumber, only to wake him when she finished restoring his heart. However, in an odd twist of fate, this girl is unable to finish her work.

Unlike what really happens, she is kidnapped, by none other than the Organization XIII. It was obvious to the leader that she was a key in winning the war against light, and kept her trapped in the World That Never Was. Being a nobody, the girl could summon portals to leave whenever she pleased, but then why didn't she?

Apparently, Xemnas is a lot smarter than most would think. Using a dangerous type of dark magic, he placed her under a spell, brainwashing her to do his deeds. When she was fully under his control, he ordered her to do something destructive. Instead of completely erasing Sora's heart like originally planned, she was to rewrite all of his memories. Instead of being the hero of light, he would become a warrior of darkness.

DiZ noticed this taking place though, and sent Riku to go capture Namine`. Though, Riku's memories are beginning to change along with Sora's. From the pieces he has gathered, he and 'Sora' have been side by side in the darkness since they were kids. Yet, at the same time, he remembers Kairi, and her memory helps shed light on the situation. The question at the moment is if he will go against DiZ and join the ranks of the Organization, or try to salvage the rest of his true memories?

Kairi has become a key role in this struggle as well. With her nobody being a pawn for the Organization, along with her two best friends, her memories are changing slowly. Her writing has become her only way to remember the truth, though they might vanish as well. Besides that, the Disney Princesses have all faded. None are as pure as they used to be, which means that rightfully she is the new leader of the Princesses of Heart. This proves opportunity for Xemnas, but DiZ has also recognized her as a way to get his revenge on his unfaithful disciples. Who are the new princesses though, that will follow under Kairi? Or is she literally the last one standing? Still, why on earth do the princesses matter now? Only time will tell...

On top of all of this, DiZ is apparently making a new 'creation'. All he mentioned to Riku about it was that 'It would prove to make a good weapon'. What could 'it' be though?

Roxas is beginning to doubt being in the Organization, but will he actually leave?

Things are not peaceful anymore, and in this struggle of memories, anything could happen. Light versus dark has reached an entirely new level. This tug of war in the heart is just beginning, and has no plans to stop any time soon...

While in sweet slumber, the worlds will divide.

I know you all hate the rules, but oh well. Follow them, and if you don't follow the rules, hell shall be unleashed upon you. I'm not kidding. Anyway, the rules are pretty simple. Also I shall add more rules if I find the need to. So just please follow them!

||.`.|| You must be literate [[If you're not, I have no ******** idea why you're here.]], and able to write at least two paragraphs [about 5-6 sentences] a post. I do not accept one-liners, but if you seem to have writers block, I'm fine with that, but its bull if you keep pulling that. Its also okay if you can only pull out a longer one paragraph post every now and then, but please try to keep it to 2 paragraphs or above..

||.`.|| Please use correct grammar, spelling, and capitalization. Typos are okay every once and a while but try not to do it too often. I know people make mistakes, and that's fine, but please just check your post a bit, and if you find something wrong, just fix it.

||.`.|| NO stars (*), or dashes (-), or any other type of symbol. Do not use emoticons as well!

||.`.|| No chat speak or net speak. You will seriously see fire come from my nostrils and ears..

||.`.|| Speech from a character must be in " ", and thoughts must be distinguished by both ' ' and italics.

||.`.|| Font size between sizes 9-11, no bigger, no smaller!

||.`.|| More than one character? Then you MUST use a different font color for each of your characters, so it doesn't become confusing. In case that wasn't clear for you, each character needs to have their OWN font color. No character can have the same as someone else! If you need help finding font color codes, ask me.

||.`.|| Romance is ENCOURAGED! Highly so! And I am personally a fan of both shonen ai/yaoi and yuri, so go ahead and pair away! But don't you dare take it too far, such as cybering. Also if your character does develop a love interest(s), please PM me, so I can add your love interest(s) in your profile. Also, you need to okay the pairing with the other player. Because I more than understand that some people feel differently about things like this..

Dark earthen brown hair which is cut short and angled over her right eye, which remains perpetually closed, unless curcumstances call for it's revealment. She is tall and wears rather odd clothes, something like Sora once wore, of course, with it's own flarish style. The outfit is only accented by black sunglesses and the dark blade, known as Cradh, or Pain.
Personality: Sakura likes to keep her distance from others, she is cold and commanding. However, when she goes undercover, she tends to be a cheery girl with a bright smile and sparkling personality. No one knows what she is really like, as her mood changes often. She dislikes stupidity and is bold in her actions. Usually merciless, she is on the quest for her Nobody, so that she can be made whole [in her idea at least] again.
Species: Unknown - It is unsure by most whether she is completely a Heartless or not, as no one witnessed the true destruction of her heart.
Weapon: Cradh
Alliance: Heartless
History: She was the daugher of nobility, brought into the life of luxury by her mother and father who were quite close to Ansem the Wise. In fact, her father was a close confident of the man, although appearantly their bond was not quite strong. When Ansem changed, her family was thrown out of the castle. Sakura was only around the age of five at the time. When the world began to dissolve into darkness around them, she worried, but her parents told her that as long as she held herself true, she would be alright.

Appearantly, that was not the case. As the darkness itself tried to engulf her, it stopped, confused and befuddled by what she was. For every good there is an evil, for every light, there is a shadow. For every Queen of Hearts, there is a Queen of Darkness. Appearantly Sakura had imbedded within her person, the very being of the QoD, the Queen of Darkness. The Heartless began to follow her commands, as the power soon corrupted the young woman, tearing her true spirit away by the age of ten. For a decade, she reigned behind the scenes as the true leader of the Heartless. She is preparing to show herself, on the quest to find her Nobody, Karuxsa, and return her to her rightful place as her soul. Sakura has changed dramatically since her childhood days, yet sometimes, very rarely but sometimes, the true Sakura tries to let out a cry for help, calling out to any dreamer that might listen, before she is once again shut away in the darkness of her heart.

Appearance|| Sato has a pair of dark shades he randomly wears at random times (even when he lies, or wants to cry) that covers his grey eyes. His black hair is braided into a swirl-like design around his head (looks a bit bald, if you may), but it's usually long if he un-braids it. His upper torso is covered in a dark grey jacket, that also covers his white shirt underneath. The sleeves are rolled up neatly, just near his elbows, to reveal his soft, but quite muscular, skin. Dark blue jeans covers his lower torso, two chains from the hooks on his belt in front goes down and back up around to the hooks behind, while a pair of black sneakers with white and green stripes covers his feet. And he's not that tall, either.
Personality|| Sato tends to cover his emotions behind his pair of shades. Whenever he lies, holds back a tear, or even regret doing something, he sighs a bit deeply before putting them on. He likes to talk, but he also wants to isolate himself from the crowd. Whenever he meets up with new people, he becomes quiet, somewhat shy, and nervous, too. However, when he gets to know more about someone, he'll eventually open himself.

Weapon|| A set of swords (very similar to Xaldin's lances and his attack style, except Sato uses swords)

History|| Ten years ago, Sato lived with his parents, just a few hours south from the large castle of Hollow Bastion. He was your average boy who loved to play with other kids, and joke around others. But something occured to him that changed his future for good. It was raining like a thunderstorm, but there was no thunder. Powerful winds blew about as Sato was heading home from school. "Waaah! I can't see anything!" His books were scattered suddenly by the wind, rendering them useless to him now. "Uh-oh..." Those were his school books. Oh well, they were useful to him for only about the first week of school. He only saw a glance of where he was, and that he was in the middle of nowhere. "Where the hell am-"

At that moment, something very hard had struck the back of his head. Uggh... He could feel his knees feel limp on their own - and soon, his head followed. Not only that, his vision, too, became dark. What happened after that?

After that incident ten years ago, Sato never knew what happened. He lost his memories after his head got hit, and since then, he's been living with an old man in a town some hours south from a castle where people say a female human lives with a beast.

There'd been quite a bit of hustle and bustle around the castle that never was, and the organization and all it's members had been just as busy.. and tense, except him. He had no idea what was going on. Not really. He'd known little, except that they'd had a new arrival, a new pawn.. a girl, or rather.. a nobody by the name of Namine`. She obviously was of great worth.. and that Xemnas had come up with plans for her and someone else. That someone else... he'd only recently figured out to be Sora. How had Xemnas possibly gotten his hands on Sora? Everyone's special little chosen one? Everyone's little key and little bit of hope? Of how, he had no idea.. and what plans he had for him? He had even less of an idea. He had no idea of Namine`'s 'gift' of being able to tamper with memories... with people's hearts, so he had no idea what kind of power Xemnas had acquired. But really... with this.. with Sora completely under his control, and with that kind of power in his hand, who was there to stop him?


Exactly.


No one.


And the nobody of that power, had no idea. But even so, he had his doubts about this damned organization..


The blonde began to wonder.. With Xemnas having Sora, he wondered who else knew, outside of the organization of course. Did anyone? Someone had to know. It was their precious little savior. They had to notice that he was gone. That no one had contact with him.. So it would cause worry.. What actions would they take? How would they possibly find him? They probably wouldn't even find him until it was too late. Too bad for them, huh? Xemnas' plan would probably be put into action, whatever it was, and all the little warriors of light would be screwed.. especially if it concerned Sora... Yes.. Especially then.


Azure orbs were narrowed, as the sound of footsteps echoed down one of the many hallways of the castle that never was. Number Xiii strode down the all too white hall, hating how similar every passage seemed. He lost count at how many times he'd gotten lost.. and yet this time, he wasn't aiming to go anywhere in particular.. he was simply sick of being locked up in his quarters. Nothing had happened in ages, at least not for him. He hadn't been sent for.. and no one had bugged him. Not even Demyx.. or Axel... and that was odd enough as it was. But right now, he wasn't even looking to find their company. No. Definitely not. Now.. now he just wanted to find the exit from this damned place.. He tried to avoid using dark portals whenever possible.. He just didn't like the feeling from them. Such a cold feeling, and the rush from them just made him feel sick.


Black robes hung from his slim frame as he still walked down one hall, and then another, getting more frustrated with each passing moment.
'I swear.. this place is too huge.. I don't know how anyone can find their way in here.'
He thought bitterly.
'..And if I don't find the plaza soon.. I swear I'll bash my own way through the walls..'
He had to admit, he was frustrated. Being the newest and lowest of the organization, he wasn't being informed of much or being included in much. No. He was more than frustrated. It was just... annoying. Seeing them all obviously planning and getting ready for something.. and him, having no idea. It wasn't fair, but he didn't expect fair because when was the last time they'd been fair? It just made him feel like he had no point in staying. Really. If they didn't trust him enough in the first place, why would he stay? Not to mention.. did he even really want to stay? A few minutes later, he'd finally found the plaza to the castle that never was. A sigh escaped the blonde's lips and he pulled his hood over his head, then walking out into the city itself, of the World that Never Was.
