G.I. Mule is the main account for the Great Item Charity. He guards the vault, handles all the transactions, and buries the bodies. Basically he's here to do all the grunt work.

G.I. Mule also goes by the name "Gimmy" and can often be found patrolling the pages of the Great Item Charity thread. He's very competitive, so be careful what you say...

Technically, this is Gimmy's second job on Gaia. He was previously in charge of security at the Great Item Lottery (which is no longer functioning). He did such a splendid job that he was offered the same position in the Charity.

Gaia Birthday: December 11th, 2003

Likes: Working out, playing with explosives, flexing his muscles, taking and giving donations.

Dislikes: Vegetables, spammers, beggars, and inflation.

Gimmy's Self-Proclaimed Catchphrase: "BOOM!"

MaLink is Gimmy's head superior. The top banana. The stinky cheese. She's had a varied Gaian career in her years frequenting Gaia; ZeldaPower Guild Captain, the Great Item Lottery Owner, and now the Head Administrator of the Great Item Charity.

This female has many nicknames, mostly derived from her username "MaLink" but will answer to pretty much anything else you call her. MaLink has many hangouts around Gaia, so the best way to get in contact with her would be the PM button, or to post stalk her. Like a ninja.

Also, we also feel it necessary to mention that MaLink has a big girl crush on G.I. Mule.

Gaia Birthday: December 1st, 2003

Likes: Changing outfits regularly, playing video games, eating sandwiches, posting around the Exchange, and ogling Gimmy.

Dislikes: "NIPS", rude people, beggars, and slow drivers.

MaLink's Self-Proclaimed Catchphrase: "Hot damn!"

Mintytrina is Gimmy's second boss, co-administrator of the Great Item Lottery. One of the nicest people you will ever meet, she is in charge of helping MaLink make decisions, and making the brunswick stew.

Mintytrina has a lot of friends around the Gaian forums, so don't be surprised if you see her pop up randomly in some thread you're in. Mostly though, she will be found in the Exchange or the Art Commissions section, because she is what you would call an "Art Whore." Actually, so are MaLink and Gimmy. It's an Art Whore Family. eek

Mintytrina often goes by "Minty" or "Trina" and like her friend MaLink, also has a major crush on Gimmy.

Gaia Birthday: October 24th, 2004

Likes: Playing Gaian dress-up, the AFK hat, pretty boys, anime, playing video games, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy VII, martinis, Devon's Purgatory thread and the people in it and also ogling Gimmy.

Dislikes: Smoking (her beloved pixelated Long Drag doesn't count here), liars, beggars, scammers, lima beans, cold weather and working weekends.

The Great Item Charity is interested in helping out hard-working questers achieve their goal. We also get a personal thrill out of randomly buying things from Profile Wishlists for people (store items).

As much as we appreciate the influx of new users every day, we do not feel that our help is necessary for them. There are plenty of other charities for newbies around these parts. We instead, hope to achieve a separate status: a charity that can be relied on to help the many Gaians who dream of owning that certain set of special pixels.

Here's an easy checklist for you to find out if you are eligible for a donation from the Great Item Charity:

Everyone has a dream avatar and they're not just wearing donation items! Questing takes a lot of money and energy and sometimes the cheaper store items get shunted to the side until after you achieve your goal.

And then some of us are just pixel whores and love the store clothes but just can't afford them all.

All donations to the Great Item Charity are permanent.

Please send all trades to G.I. Mule

If you are questing, do not donate to us. You will achieve your goal faster that way and besides, donating to our charity defeats our overall purpose.
