- Red Lily Academy
Located in the secluded mountain range in Washington, U.S.A, Red Lily Academy was built in 1997 by a group of rich businessmen. On the surface, the Academy appears as a prestigious private boarding high school for the adolescent children of some of the world's wealthiest citizens. Its true purpose, however, is a place to for the wealthy to hide their illegitimate and unwanted children from the public eye.
The administration made a deal with the parents; so long as good money is paid, the Academy will keep the students within its perimeter and out of the public. Since neither the parents nor the administration truly cares about the adolescent, the students run wild without any regard to rules or morals. It wasn’t long before Red Lily Academy was consumed by sin.
For the past ten years, the Academy has been heading down toward the wrong track. Drugs, alcohol, sex are commonplace in the Academy. Even with the burden of many gruesome events, the administration has no desire to change its corrupted way. The students aren’t here to get a proper education. They are here to have fun, spoil themselves, and enjoy a life of physical pleasure. Though some try to resist, the temptation proves too strong.
Despite the corruption within the campus, the administration, with the help of its sponsors, manages to keep up the prestigious appearance to the public. Many outsiders truly believe that Red Lily Academy is an educational haven for their children. It is because of the renowned reputation the Academy holds that innocent children of upper-class family are sent to attend Red Lily. Thus begins the struggle between the illegitimated verses the legitimated; the wanted verses the unwanted.
In the midst of such childish bickering and prejudice, tragedies after tragedies strike the Academy. To date, nineteen gruesome murders have occurred on campus. The victims were all murdered in an identical way, creating widespread hysteria involving a serial murderer on campus. To uphold the image of the Academy, the administration disclosed little information regarding the murders to the media and investigations from authority was quickly dismissed.
Red Lily, here on, takes an interesting turn. A rumor sweeps through the campus and instills confusion. The murders, the rumor proclaims, are judgment from a higher being. A higher being the Academy has dubbed Our Lady of Virtue. Many students, true to themselves, believe the rumor is bogus and disregard the so-called judgment from a higher being.
It was only murder.
Nothing more.
The administration, the parents, and the students move on with their lives. The murders and the rumor of Our Lady of Virtue are left hidden in the dark pages of the Academy.
