Welcome!

The theme of this contest is to write convincingly from the viewpoint of someone verymuch unlike yourself. Whatever groups you are a part of--country, ethnicity, religion, etc., pick something different from that.

For example, I am am a white atheist, so I might try to write a story from the point of view of a Muslim Pakistani.

Bonus points to anyone who can write a story which is convincingly narrated from the points of view of two very different characters!

We ain't got a lot of them, so please do follow them.

1. Post your story in the thread. If you PM it to me, I will just post it here in the thread for you--but there's also a chance that I could lose it.

2. Please confirm your trades! People who send emptry trades or never confirm their bloody trades are annoying.

3. Spellcheck your entries! This is a writing contest; spelling and grammar and so on are an important part of writing.

4. Don't piss me off. This ought to go without saying, but occasionally people are really stupid. I'm the judge, okay?

5. Don't break any of Gaia's rules/laws.

6. Have fun.

I am going to give it a go, I think. But I don't quite have the gold, so I will send it soon.

Any other characters: My character's sister and brother, and her friend's family.

Is it okay if it is in the Older Times? During Hitler's reign, I mean.
And, is my person allowed to change her outlook?

You know, when I first suggested the idea for this contest to some acquaintances, Jewish/Nazi was the first (only) set of opposites they came up with.

I must admit, Japanese Mormon sounds most interesting to me (perhaps because I was raised Catholic and have been to California/know people from there, but have never been Mormon nor Japanese/to Japan.)
