I. Plot and Setting

Was the Sohma curse truly broken?

What the Sohma family did not know was that the possesion of the Zodiac animals was only freed for the generation of Yuki, Kyo, Akito, and the others, and even the "freed" were not truly free. Something strange and horrific happened afterwards. Slowly but surely, the Juunishi were being killed off. There was much weeping and lamenting, for they had all just started to find happiness, but there was no stopping it. Strange misfortunes, unexplained diseases...over the years, they lived in fear of being next.

After the last freed Juunishi died, the Sohma clan did not know what to expect. They were horrified to find that their children were hit again with the curse. Twelve children, seven boys and six girls, suddenly found themselves unable to hug normal members of the opposite sex. A new "god" was assigned again, as well, and he fell sick at bearing the core of the curse. The Sohmas vowed not to let the same mistake of enstrangement happen again, and so far, the Juunishi have been able to lead relatively normal lives.

However, it's not as easy as it seems to cope with being cursed... The new Juunishi strive to do their best as they deal with struggling to fit in. They seek to find love, since that seems to be the way to cure the curse.

II. Rules


Yes, they are many... ninja

1.First and foremost, my word and my co-owner, mracleshappn16, is LAW. You don’t like it, go cry in the corner. Yes, that one over there will do nicely, I daresay whee .
2.Semi-literacy is REQUIRED, not suggested. ABSOLUTELY NO *she runs around* *he falls to the ground*. I will kick you out! Minimum requirement PER POST is 3 sentences. I understand if you have writer's block, don't make it a habit.
3.If there is fighting of any kind, no godmodding. It ruins it for everyone. And no autohits! Let them decide whether or not they were struck. If you have a complaint of unfairness then feel free to talk to them or me.
4.Romance is encouraged…to a limit…nothing over PG-13, so no cybering
5.Flaming is a no-no. If you don’t like someone, tell them in a PM, not here.
6.To be one of the preset/cannon characters, you must be able to come on at least once every five days, be literate, and all that jazz.
7.Since there is a school in the roleplay, TEMPORARY characters are allowed, such as a classmate that your character runs into. HOWEVER, they MUST “MYSTERIOUSLY VANISH” AND ARE NOT TO BE NEW CHARACTERS. They can be referred to and even reused, but they are to be “flat” characters.
8.I will NOT accept your profile without the keywords in either the PM’s title or somewhere inside the PM! Look carefully over these rules to prove that you read them! Normally, I will simply ignore your PM until you find the code words.

The Head of the Family
Gaia name:
Name: Daisuke Sohma
Gender: male
Description: the head of the Sohma family. As per tradition, Daisuke’s word is law, and cannot be defied.
Age: unknown (under thirty)
Crush: unknown
Personality: he's very similar the past "god", only he actually has his soft moments. He feels very compassionate one day and very cold and apathetic on others. It all depends on the weather, which greatly affects his crazy mood swings. He does not hesitate to humiliate or beat his Juunishi back into order. It's fortunate for the Zodiac members that he, like Akito, has a weak body from supporting the core of the curse.
Background: When the new "god" was born, everyone knew it. They decided to avoid making the same mistakes as they did in bringing up Akito, and treated him like a normal person. However, when little Daisuke heard how the previous "god" had been treated, he demanded to be treated as "special", as well. Deep down, he has a good heart; he is reluctant to show it. He feels the pressure of Akito's shadow and wants to be just as good, if not better, as the "god" before him.
Likes: his Juunishi, playing American chess, tea
Dislikes: most soba, the Rat in the Juunishi, being alone
Other: Unlike Akito, Daisuke is expected to live a long life, although not in the best of health. Daisuke hates Seiji for many reasons. One is that he is the son of the previous “god”, and he feels that Seiji threatens his position because of it. Another is that the Rat is respected and loved by everyone in the Sohma family, and Daisuke is envious of that. He is cruel and malicious towards Seiji at any opportunity that he can get.

Name: Kano Sohma
Gaia name: Yumi_Kotoba
Gender: female
Description: A popular girl in her 11th grade class. She has good people skills, and is a class rep. Everyone looks up to her, as she is very kind. To the Sohma family, Kano is virtually everything that Kyo was not.
Age: 17
Crush: Seiji the Rat
Personality: Kind, patient, and selfless on the surface and at school. Underneath it all, however, she is very complex and complicated, troubled by deep secrets that she has not revealed to anyone. She is also very independent and hates following Daisuke’s orders (she also dislikes Daisuke because he is harsh towards Seiji). She is deeply disturbed by the Cat’s true form, and hides her beads underneath various other bracelets. Those who remember Kyoko Honda, Kano’s grandmother, feel that Kano is somewhat a reincarnation of her kind spirit.
Background: Kano was a happy girl, because her parents, Kyo and Tohru, loved her very much. When Tohru died of cancer, their happy family was overturned. The Juunishi were devastated, and Kano felt her world slow to a stop. Kyo wouldn’t see her or speak to her for a long period of time, and Kano, being only eight, felt abandoned. After awhile, Kyo realized the mistake he had made and took very good care of his daughter from then on. He was killed in a car accident along with Mr. and Mrs. Kureno Sohma when Kano was eleven, and after Kyo died, Kano found that she was possessed by the Spirit of the Cat, a hard thing for her to accept. However, it also made her feel connected to her father, and was grateful for it after awhile, especially with Seiji’s guidance and counsel to overcome her hardships. She never forgot her parent’s encouragement, nor her mother’s optimistic nature, and strives to be just like Tohru. She is determined to be a blessing to everyone around her, especially the Juunishi.
Likes: running track, leeks, taking care of anyone who needs her help
Dislikes: Daisuke, obeying orders, rain
Other: Kano feels that Seiji is the only one who truly understands her. They are close, which surprises many of the Sohma clan that the Cat and the Rat actually get along. Though he is six years older than she is, she is not discouraged, but is scared to reveal her feelings for him. She’s also good friends with Suzu and Kei, and feels protective of Chizu.

2. The Rat
Gaia name: OutsiderKrynn
Name: Seiji Sohma
Gender: male
Description: The oldest of the Juunishi, and an older brother figure to most of them. He’s very respected by the Sohma family. Seiji owns his own bookstore; his love of books and writing came from his father. However, his dream is to write and publish his own book, and he is currently working hard on it.
Age: 23
Crush: Kano the Cat
Personality: Grave and somber, but very kind deep down. He does not speak very much, but when he does, his words are wise and thoughtful. Seiji is an excellent listener. All of the Juunishi often come to him with their problems, which Daisuke resents, however that is only one of the reasons Daisuke hates Seiji.
Background: Seiji had a good childhood, despite his well-known parents’ eccentricity. They all had fun together, and his mother, Akito, was particularly protective and caring of him. However, she passed away due to her illness when he was quite young, but his father, Shigure, strange as he was, took good care of him. It wasn’t until Seiji was fifteen that he became cursed, and he had been used to being normal, so it was very hard for him to adjust. His peers found it strange that he suddenly became distant and isolated. The one to break through his solitude was Kano Sohma, though indirectly. She was only eleven when she lost her father, and it made Seiji realize that he ought to be grateful and thankful for his life. He felt a connection with Kano due to their similar circumstances, and the two grew close. Seiji wants to take care of Kano, and he loves her very much.
Likes: cold weather, writing, reading
Dislikes: American comic books, the smell of pine, the color black
Other: Seiji loves Kano almost as much as she loves him, but he will not tell her what he feels for her because he feels that it’s not his place to love her. Seiji dislikes Daisuke, but also feels very sorry for him. Seiji is the son of Shigure and Akito.

3. The Ox
Gaia name: Guiled_Dragon
Name: Harumi Sohma
Gender: female
Description: She’s dedicated to learning kimono dancer. She’s very graceful and elegant, but has a bit of an arrogant attitude that makes it hard for others to get close to.
Age: 16
Crush: Ichiro the Dog
Personality: Harumi is somewhat haughty and proud, and also very self-confident. She doesn’t care about the Sohma curse, nor is she particularly careful to keep it a secret. She also doesn’t care what others think of her. Many of the other Juunishi dislike her for those reasons, but her best friend, Suzu the Dragon, always looks out for her and keeps her out of trouble. Unlike the Ox before her, Harumi’s Black side is very mild and not at all violent. Instead, she just gets a little more obnoxious, rude, and generally intolerable.
Background: No significant background. Harumi has always been on the cold side, and was not significantly sad when her father, Yuki, passed away. She does not care that she is the role model for her younger brother, the older twin Matsuo. As for her Sohma Juunishi, when Harumi found out she was cursed as the ox, she just shrugged and said that she wished she could’ve been cursed with a more graceful animal.
Likes: apples, dancing, pretty things
Dislikes: pears, school, most of her teachers
Other: Harumi’s crush on Ichiro arose when they were assigned a project together (they’re in the same class). They’d never been close beforehand even though they were both Juunishi, and so Harumi was startled to find that she actually liked Ichiro’s personality. Of course, she will not tell him, for her pride and distant reputation forbid it. For now, it’s a secret that Harumi hides within her arrogant heart. It’s her one fragment of humility.

4. The Tiger
Gaia name: Bishiful Stranger
Name: Reizo Sohma
Gender: male
Description: He’s a bit of a rebel at school, refusing to listen to anything that the teachers say. He’s on the verge of being kicked out. Reizo is passionate and fiery, once he gets worked up it’s hard to calm him down again.
Age: 19
Crush: He doesn’t know it, but he’s strongly attracted to Suzu the Dragon. He’ll figure it out eventually
Personality: Passionate, hotheaded, a bit on the cocky, confident side. Reizo is the one that you want on your side during a fight, he’ll defend you till the end! In his own way, Reizo is a great friend and companion, though it takes a patient person to see through his zeal. He also has a very short temper. Reizo is flirty to everyone, but in his heart, though he doesn’t know it, he likes Suzu.
Background: Reizo gets his rebellious streak from his parents. Even though the Sohma family clearly stated when the curse manifested again that the Juunishi children were to be treated normally, his parents treated him with disgust and hate after he became cursed. Reizo became defensive and angry afterwards, and left his parent’s home. Suzu’s parents were kind and took him in until they died. He and Suzu now live at the main house together. They both care about each other a lot, though neither has figured out their feelings for each other.
Likes: playing basketball, drawing (he’s a closet artist and is actually very good at it), being the center of attention
Dislikes: working, nosy people, solitude
Other: He, Suzu, and Harumi often hang out together, however he and Harumi cannot stand each other and often get into not-so-friendly competitions. Deep down they’re probably fighting over Suzu’s friendship to force her to pick one of them, but she won’t choose over either of them because she cares about them both. Reizo likes taking care of Suzu the best he can, feeling kind of like her older brother, but he struggles to try and figure her out, especially about her self esteem problem.

5. The Rabbit
Gaia name:
Name: Kumiko Sohma
Gender: female
Description: Her parents, Hatori and Mayuko Sohma, often wonder how such serious and somber parents could end up with such an energetic and fun-loving daughter! It’s hard to keep up with Kumiko because she’s always running around doing something! Kumiko is, as her father used to put it, “quite a handful!”
Age: 14
Crush: Takeo the Snake
Personality: She’s naïve, immature, and childish, but great fun to be around. She likes to be silly and always has a lot of fun doing whatever she pleases. Kumiko may seem a bit of a spoiled brat, but she’s a good girl and does whatever her mother says. One of her downfalls, however, is that Kumiko has a very short attention span.
Background: Kumiko often thinks about her father, since he died and left her and Mayu to fend for themselves. She loved him very much, and is quite sad whenever she thinks about him
Likes: sweets, cherry blossoms, springtime
Dislikes: being still, vegetables, winter
Other: She likes Takeo because sometimes she thinks that she’s too spastic and unpredictable. She likes that he’s very reliable and trustworthy. She also likes to hang out with Chizu.

6. The Dragon
Gaia name: arianna05
Name: Suzu Sohma
Gender: female
Description: Always kind, gentle, and genuine. What you see is what you get. Suzu does a lot of volunteer work in her spare time, and consistently thinks of others beside herself. Besides spending a lot of time with her friends, Suzu feels compassion for Daisuke, and visits him at least once a week.
Age: 17
Crush: she thinks she doesn’t like anybody, but she likes Reizo the Tiger a lot
Personality: Kind, gentle, compassionate, genuine. She’s the calm head in an emergency. Suzu has a soft word for everyone, and could make friends with even the most despicable criminal. She’s really quite embarrassed about her Juunishi form, however. Thankfully, the only boy she’s interested in hugging won’t transform her. Her downfall, though, is her low self-esteem. While she holds others in such high regard, she thinks very little of herself. She gets embarrassed very easily.
Background: Suzu had pleasant early years with kind and loving parents. She took more after her mother, however, and did not inherit her father’s sharp tongue, unlike her brother. She received Reizo with open arms and melted his hard heart with her kindness. Like the rest of the children of the first Juunishi, however, her world was turned upside-down by their deaths. Without her parents to help her, Suzu developed an inferiority complex about her Juunishi form. She moved into the main house with Reizo and her younger brother, Ichiro. Suzu feels that if she doesn’t look after others, her life is worthless.
Likes: helping out the best she can, reading, writing poetry (she’s very good at it, but of course she doesn’t think so. She keeps her book of poetry hidden, and the fact that she writes it a secret)
Dislikes: dressing up, being the center of attention, loud noises
Other: Her two best friends are Reizo and Harumi, but she gets along very well with Kano. The two get together every so often to talk. Suzu senses, however, that Kano has not revealed her whole self to her, but doesn’t mind or press at details. Suzu is a great older sister to her younger brother and always looks after him (even if he doesn’t always appreciate it).

7. The Snake
Gaia name: Your Obedient Servant
Name: Takeo Sohma
Gender: male
Description: Everyone calls him “the serious twin”. Matsuo, his fraternal twin brother, is the careless and casual one. Indeed, Takeo is good in school, very careful and precise, and a hard worker. He doesn’t stand out enough to be a leader, though. The Sohma family likes him a lot, because they say he’s the most “normal and calm” of the Juunishi.
Age: 15
Crush: Kumiko the Rabbit
Personality: He’s a very organized, hardworking, cheerful kind of guy. He smiles a lot, even if he doesn’t feel like it. He’s pretty kind, but he gets annoyed easily by Matsuo and Harumi. Takeo is dedicated and focused, once he sets his mind on something he’ll accomplish it within record time.
Background: Everyone said that he was just like his father, Yuki. Takeo didn’t mind, in fact he was rather pleased by the comparison, as he greatly admired his father. Yuki loved him a lot, and Takeo was glad that Yuki was his father. He wanted to be just like him. It was very hard for Takeo to lose his role model. He wouldn’t leave his room for days after Yuki’s death, but he eventually healed. He lives with his mother, Machi, and his brother and sister at the main house now.
Likes: studying and doing well in school, planning things out, order (he’s the opposite of his mom)
Dislikes: chaos, messes (he’s always picking up after Matsuo and Machi), soup of any kind (probably because it spills easily)
Other: He likes Kumiko because she stands out. Takeo thinks that he’s too ordinary and average, even if that’s what everyone likes about him. They hang out and talk to each other a lot, and are close to being best friends.

8. The Horse
Gaia name: Yumi_Kotoba
Name: Keijiro “Kei” Sohma
Gender: male
Description: a 12th grader in high school, Kei is quiet and grave and rather unusual in many ways. He rarely says very much, but he is kind and looks after the younger ones. None of the Sohmas really know much about him. Kei works at Seiji’s bookstore delivering packages and orders. He likes doing things his own way. He sometimes scares people who don’t know him well because of the fact that he rides a motorcycle. He’s trained in kendo, but he likes using a real katana instead of the bamboo sword. (See what I mean about assuming he’s dangerous?)
Age: 18
Crush: Tsuki the Ram
Personality: Quiet, stubborn, determined, rather emo. He has a great poker face so no one ever knows what he’s thinking. He’s quite protective, though, and will step in wherever he feels needs intervention. Kei has confidence in himself. He rarely listens to reason and likes doing things by his method.
Background: He takes most after his father, Kureno Sohma, though he’s never air headed or forgetful. When both his parents were taken from him at the same time when he was young, Kei became depressed and wouldn’t leave his room. Tsuki got him out of it by visiting him every day. Even when he yelled at her to leave him alone, she never gave up and always came back. Kei has been thankful to Tsuki ever since.
Likes: riding his motorcycle, practicing with his katana, doing his best
Dislikes: the unexpected, sloppy work, change
Other: He lives alone in the Main House. He doesn’t care about the solitude at all, but he actually enjoys Tsuki’s visits. He’s not quite sure why he’s attracted to Tsuki, perhaps he’s just grateful for her help. He told her he liked her once, but she never replied to him. However she never stopped talking to him and visiting him, either. Kei hasn’t pressed the issue yet. Kei was also taught the ability to suppress memories, having been hand-picked by Hatori himself for the duty. Kei is the son of Arisa and Kureno Sohma.

9. The Ram
Gaia name: Shia47
Name: Natsuki “Tsuki” Sohma
Gender: female
Description: Quiet, polite, and rather shy and meek, but a very sweet girl. She’s learning kimono dancing along with Harumi, but thinks Harumi is very rude and doesn’t like her very much. She also is a very good singer.
Age: 16
Crush: Kei the Horse
Personality: Quiet, polite, shy, kind, charming. Even though she doesn’t talk very much, people naturally like her. Like Suzu, she doesn’t have very much confidence in herself, and is rather timid. Unlike Suzu, she isn’t quite as selfless and noble. Tsuki’s timid nature sometimes annoys people (but Kei thinks it’s cute).
Background: Tsuki had no traumatizing background, and has both her parents still, since neither of them were members of the Juunishi. She loves her parents and is a devoted and obedient daughter. However, when she was in junior high, one afternoon she got locked in a closet at school, and wasn’t found until morning. Ever since then, Tsuki has been scared of small spaces and the dark.
Likes: lollipops, watching animes/reading manga, playing sports, especially soccer (she’s actually a jock, though she doesn’t like playing on teams too much because she hates practice)
Dislikes: rude people, small spaces and the dark, crowds of people
Other: Tsuki surprised everyone, including herself, when she visited Kei everyday during his depression. When he told her he liked her, she was too startled to say anything. She still hasn’t. Even though she likes him, she’s very scared to tell him that. Tsuki thinks that maybe he’s changed his mind since then. Tsuki likes him because she feels that maybe he’ll be able to lift her meekness away and make her more self-assured.

10. The Monkey
Gaia name: Your Obedient Servant
Name: Matsuo Sohma
Gender: male
Description: “A lazy punk who’s never going to be any good!” The Sohma family often tells him that, but Matsuo, quite frankly, doesn’t care. He does what he pleases, despite the protests of his twin brother Takeo. He’s really good at playing the piano, though. It seems like he always has a concert to play in.
Age: 15 (he’s the older twin by a minute)
Crush: Chizu the Rooster
Personality: Lazy, sarcastic, somewhat cold. He doesn’t try hard at anything, and yet he’s naturally good at playing the piano. But he’d rather sleep and laze around than work hard.
Background: Matsuo was never close to any member of his family. He took after his older sister, though, and learned how to be sarcastic and rude from her. He often exasperated his father and annoyed his mother, but they loved him in their own ways. Matsuo was a little sad when his father died, but not as distraught as Takeo. It doesn’t look like he particularly likes his brother very much, but he does feel rather protective of Takeo, even though he picks on him and teases him a lot.
Likes: sleeping, playing the piano, lying down and looking at the sky
Dislikes: school, anything that requires thinking or moving (except piano), heights
Other: He thinks everything about Chizu is adorable. Even though he teases her, too, everyone can tell that he likes her. She brings out his sweet nature (it’s hidden waaay down inside him). Matsuo bought Chizu her beloved pet rabbit a little while ago.

11. The Rooster
Gaia name: [.The Untamed.]
Name: Chizu Sohma
Gender: female
Description: Chizu was the hardest hit by the deaths of the Juunishi. She’s gradually become well again, and is still adorable and cute in the eyes of others. But be careful! She can throw a nasty fit when she feels like it. She has a pet bunny, Fuu, that she takes everywhere (he’s like her little mascot!).
Age: 14
Crush: Matsuo the Monkey (however, she doesn't know it yet)
Personality: Normally pretty quiet and sweet, a naturally cheerful personality. She’s gotten over her father’s death, but it’s still a sensitive subject. Due to her year of shutting everyone out, Chizu has developed a tantrum state that arises whenever something goes wrong. The only ones who can calm her down is Matsuo, Suzu, or Seiji.
Background: She grew up the princess of her father’s heart. Her mother left her dad, Momiji, when Chizu was seven, so her only memories of her mom are angry ones. She was very close to her father, and they did everything together. Chizu was devastated when Momiji passed away. She was the one hardest hit by the death of the Juunishi, and refused to speak or look at anyone in the face for a year. She cried, she screamed, she was socially unacceptable. Chizu fell into herself, and wouldn’t come out, much to the distress of the Sohma family (most of all, Matsuo). A year after Momiji died, Chizu one day suddenly got better. The only person who found out why was Matsuo. Chizu told him that she’d had a dream about her father. He’d told her to be strong and that he’d love her and be with her for always. To continue to help Chizu, Matsuo gave her a baby rabbit, which she named Fuu. Fuu is Chizu’s constant companion.
Likes: sweets and dessert, going to school, her pet bunny, Fuu (she takes him many places, and he follows her around, just like a dog)
Dislikes: dogs (she’s kind of scared of them), peppermint, reading books
Other: Chizu heard about how Tohru Honda used to always carry pictures of her mother and “take” her mother everywhere. She does the same, and always has a photo of her father with her. Besides Matsuo, she’s also good friends with Kumiko and Kano.

12. The Dog
Gaia name: Bishiful Stranger
Name: Ichiro Sohma
Gender: Male
Description: You know how there’s a class clown? Well, Ichiro Sohma is the Sohma clan clown. He pulls practical jokes, makes jokes and fun of others, and is generally funny…as long as you’re not his victim. Ichiro constantly gets into trouble, but his happy-go-lucky and courteous nature often save him.
Age: 16
Crush: none yet
Personality: A jokester, a prankster, mischievous, sarcastic at times, clever, intelligent, his purpose in life is to make others laugh. He’s a bit immature at times. He is cheerful and positive, even if a bit annoying at times.
Background: Having Hiro as a father made Ichiro into what he is today. He likes being clever and always has a comment on everything. Ichiro, like his sister Suzu, was deeply saddened by the death of his parents, but he deals with it in his own way.
Likes: laughter, jokes, pranks
Dislikes: when no one laughs at his jokes, cats (they creep him out), when Suzu bugs him too much
Other: Ichiro doesn’t like anyone yet. He’s still a kid at heart and is focusing on doing his best at school. He’s really good at sports and is a jock, much to everyone’s surprise. He loves Suzu a lot and depends on her, but would rather be annoying and play jokes on her than to let her know that. Deep down, Ichiro is grateful for the support that Suzu gives him.

Name: Chiharu Sohma
Gender: male
Description: A talented guitarist whose dream is to play in a band. He’s serious enough when he’s playing, but is easily angered and annoyed. He’s somewhat of a “bad boy”. Chiharu has quite a short temper (he probably inherited it from his father’s “black” side). He’s very protective of his uncursed younger sister, Shiko (aka “Shi”).
Age: 17
Crush: unrevealed (he may have some feelings towards Harumi)
Personality: Uncouth, a little rude at times, speaks his mind freely without worrying about what others might think, unconventional, bad attitude sometimes, not very gentle, serious, short-tempered, cool and level-headed. Even if he sounds like a bad person, Chiharu has something about him that makes him likeable, much like his father.
Background: Rin and Hatsuharu did their best to raise their son well, but Chiharu has always had a mind of his own. He rarely listened, stubborn as he was, striving to forge his own path in his own way. He didn’t realize how much he loved and depended on his parents when they died, and feels bad now because of the careless way he treated them. He dealt with getting the curse in his own way by drowning himself in music. He gets annoyed when the other Juunishi call him “the pig” instead of “the boar”.
Likes: cold weather, writing songs, eating soba
Dislikes: when people ignore him, most vegetables, dead silence
Other: Chiharu is a school “hottie”, very popular in his class, but he hasn’t found it in him to chose anyone. So far he’s turned everyone down. A deciding factor for him is, of course, the curse. Chiharu listened to his parent’s last wishes that he take care of his younger sister, Shi. He’s the son of Rin and Haru Sohma.

Name: Akiko Sohma
Gender: female
Description: As the family doctor for the Sohmas, Akiko knows all their secrets and even about the curse of the Juunishi. She works double-time for Daisuke, and is constantly with him, though she doesn’t seem to mind. She’s also an accomplished cross-country runner, and has won many a marathon.
Age: 25
Crush: Unrevealed
Personality: Patient, kind, soft-spoken, tolerant of almost anything, a take-charge kind of person, protective of her patients
Background: Akiko grew up close to her cousin, Hatori, and he taught her what she knew of the medical practice. Though Akiko is not a licensed doctor, she is one of the best, and does her job very well. She’s somewhat of an aunt to Kumiko, and helped raise her. Akiko first discovered that she loved to run when she was eighteen. She saw Kano the Cat jogging, and decided to try it. Akiko has worked hard in her training.
Likes: sakura, helping others, exercising
Dislikes: American fast food, Matsuo, bok choy
Other: For some reason Matsuo really bugs her. Maybe it’s because he refuses to listen to her during his appointments, or maybe it’s just his attitude. No one really knows. Akiko barely knows.

Description: Ori is a normal girl with parents who fight all the time and pay her no mind.

Crush: No one so she says
Personality: Ori is a really nice person. She loves giving people things even if she would need them more. She loves to play jokes on the teachers who bother her but normally only going as far as to have a firecracker in their desk.
Background: Ori’s father died when she was still an infant. Her mother re-married when Ori was five. Ori’s step-father is very abusive to Ori’s mother and when Ori tries to help her mother he will then beat her. Her step-father will also beat her just for doing the simplest thing wrong.
Likes: Drawing, Music, making her own fireworks, and making new friends
Dislikes: being alone, seeing people get picked on, and dead silence
Other: Ori feels that sooner or later everyone will abandon her so she finds it hard to get truly close to people.

V. Summary

The Sohma family has been learning very quickly that things are unstable for them. It seemed like an ordinary day at school, and yet catastrophe has struck all around them. Random accidents have taken hold of the Sohma children. Many Juunishi have been brought to the hospital, and it seems that Daisuke knows the cause of the traumatic experiences...
