How it works:

The item is being listed for 939 gold... so you can't bid more than that amount. The person who bids the highest UNIQUE amount, wins the auction. If you win, you only have to pay the amount that they bid. It costs 50 gold per bid. You can pay for as many or a few chances to bid as you please.

Examples:

5 people bid 939 gold, and 4 people bid 938 gold, but only 1 person bids 937 gold, then the person who bid 937 wins because its the highest UNIQUE bid!

OR

312 bids are placed at 2 gold, and 1 bid is placed on 1 gold, the person who bid 1 gold wins and only has to pay 1 gold to win.

So again, its not necesarily the highest bid, but the highest unique bid that wins!

Bidding ends after I recieve 313 bids. There is no time limit, so it can take 1 hour, 1 day or several weeks... it really depends on how many bids I get and when. So if you want it to go faster, spread the word! And its a Blind Auction, meaning I won't post how many bids I have recieved or for what amounts until I have reached 313 bids and there is a winner.

I will post if there when a winner has been reached list everyones bids. Please don't PM me to ask if I'm still accepting bids. I will post it here as soon as the auction closes.

Wait WHAT? I don't get it.
Okay, please don't pm me to ask. Feel free to ask any questions you have here in this forum. I laid out the how to's under "How it works." Basically, it's a raffle. You pay to bid and once enough people have bid, the item gets sold for the amount of the highest unique bid. You're basically paying for a chance to win an expensive item at 10% of its normal price.

How much do I pay you?
50 g for every bid you'd like to place. If you win, you will then have to pay me what you bid. So if you bid 604 g, you don't have to pay that now... you can pay it after you win. Just the 50 g per bid right now is fine thanks.

Do you plan to do more auctions in the future?
Yes, if this one goes well.

Do I post my bids here?
NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!! PM me to purchase a bid, and then pm me your bid.

If we PM you the bids, then what do we post here?

I paid for a bid and then I got blacklisted. Does my bid still count and can I get my gold back?
No to both. Your bid no longer counts, and you cannot get your gold back. Sorry, but if you want to play, follow the rules.

It's been a week and its still going on. What gives?
The auction stays open until 313 bids have been placed. I could be 1 bid short, I could be bids 100 short... I'm not telling anyone how many bids have been placed because it is a blind auction. If you'd like to make it go faster, tell your friends!

How do I know you really got 313 bids and not 1000 bids?
At the close of the auction I will list every bidder, how many bids they purchased and what they bid. If anyone doesn't see their name and correct information, you can call me on it. (Although if it happens and I'm off by 2 or 3, it was probably a mistake, just let me know if anything like that happens).

If the auction ends after 313 bids are placed, then why are there 939 possibilities?
You can bid anything between 1 and 939. So the bids list at the bottom will still have a lot of slots with 0 when the auction is over. Those are just the possible things you can bid and only 313 bids can be placed overall on this auction.
