Kitsunes are not roleplay required. However, they are roleplay encouraged. Roleplaying is the only way to get extra stages.
Offering: At this stage of the game, you set out an offering and wait for it to attract a fox.
Single-tail: A little fox has now appeared in place of your offering! Intensely aware and curious about their surroundings, your fox is just a little kit.
Dual-tail: Your fox has been around for a while, and is beginning to understand things. At this stage, your fox is basically a child, and acts as such.
Tri-tail: Growing up quickly, your fox has three tails and is a bundle of trouble. At this stage, your fox is basically a teenager.
Penta-tail: Finally a full-fledged adult, the kitsune carries the intelligence of a full-grown human. This is the stage where they can first breed.

Flatsale Rules
1.) Flatsales are done on a first-come, first served basis.
2.) Flatsales do not start until someone on the mule or Raven says GO.
3.) You may buy for friends, however, each person may only get one Kitsune per 24 hours in a flatsale.
4.) Kitsune cost 5K in a flatsale. They come with five stages. Payment is expected immediately upon confirmation.
5.) Claim kitsune in a flatsale by number, not description.
6.) No editing your claiming posts or changing your mind. Think carefully.

Are these RP required?
Not at all-- although we'd LOVE it if you stopped by once in a while. Feel free to RP here if you want. There will be perks for RPers (read: EXTRA STAGES).
Can I direct-link?
Not for your sig. A pet journal, sure-- until they reach their adult stage, then host them yourselves, please. If bandwidth becomes a problem, I'll be forced to take this option away.
Where can I pick-up my kitsune?
Flatsale kitsune will be posted in the pick-up posts. Other such kitsune will be PMed to you via this account.
Can I be a guest colorist?
If we decide we need one, we'll go looking. We'll call you, don't call us.

It's been centuries since my family founded this shrine. I was the oldest son, the one whose duty was to take over the shrine, care for it, and honor the gods at all time. There are gods everywhere-- in every breath, in everything beam of light, in everything that exists-- and I was to honor them.
Well, no one said I played by the rules.
At one point I did-- I was the dutiful son. But I don't think I could've done that forever. Instead, I decided to make my own way in the world.
I sent a prayer to the trickster gods, the kitsune. Send me your children, let me send them to the world. Let me help you spread the seed of mystery and mischief.
And they came.

Once your kitsune is an adult (has five or more tails), they can breed with any other adult! It's not that difficult. xd
There are two different ways to breed. Either way, your kitsune will not be able to breed again for a full month after the process.
The first is with any kitsune in the store. As long as the two owners consent, there will be a breeding between the pair (no sex actually need be involved, as these are spirits) and there will be between two and four babies produced.
FAQ
What about line-edited (Auction, SE) kitsune?
Simple lineart edits and and Special Edition kitsune have a 25% chance of passing down their edits to their children.
What about non-unique kitsune?
They can breed with any unique kitsune. 3nodding This basically means two Special Edition kitsune cannot breed together.
What can I do with the babies?
You can keep one kitsune per owner per breeding. You can give the rest away to friends, or you can give them to the shop to be auctioned off. You will receive 50% of the auction proceeds.
How do I get a breeding slot?
First, send the trade for the correct amount to this account. Please only send one trade-- consolidate the gold on one account if it's from two different owners. Second, PM the form to this account. Breeding slots will be awarded by order of trades. If you try to get a slot when there are no slots open, I will cancel your trade.
