Q. If we don't buy our pixels food/medicines/whatnot, are they going to die?
A. Not at all. You can buy food, toys and such just to decorate the "room", but the Pixels can't die at all.
Even if you don't do anything for them, they just stop growing.
Q. So what if an owner doesn't show up for a long time?
A. It depends. What do you mean with "a lot of time"?
If it's just for a couple of weeks, a month, two months, it's ok. They'll lose stars, but can regain them when the owner returns.
BUT if you've been away for 4-5 months without warning, your pet will be put up for adoption. Before this happens, a red exclamation mark will appear in your Pixel's room.
Q. You made a mistake in my Pixel! You got the name/colour/landscape wrong!
A. I'm sorry! Just post here or send me a PM and I'll correct it at once.
Q. How many posts does it have to take for an owner's pixel to gain a star?
A. There's not an exact number, because I'd get crazy if I tried to count all of them... every week when I update the eggs I check the owner list and if I've seen you around and it's been a while since I last updated your pet, he/she gains a star.
So it depends on my memory, too... tell me if I haven't updated your pet for ages, maybe it's just my fault sweatdrop
Q. What's inside the letters?
A. Hah! You wish you knew... Sorry, but it will be a surprise.
Anyway it will be an equippable item, and a Gaian one. If you look at the items post you'll find a list of the past items, so you'll know what you will NOT find in this month's letter. Letters aren't for sale anymore!
Q. I posted my order ages ago, why you haven't done it yet??
A. How much time ago? A day? A hour? Some minutes?
Even with the best case (me online with nothing else to do) it'll take me 5-10 minutes to read your order, open the letter and upload it.
I'm not a computer. Consider that I eat, sleep and go to school. I might be busy elsewhere. Usually everything is done at most after a week.
Also, if you don't check this thread regularly, you might miss me posting your Pixel. Check my photobucket album to see if it's there, the link is in the owner's post further down in the page.
Q. I want to open the new letter, but the item I like looks bad with the items my pet is already wearing. Can I unequip the old items?
A. Sure!
You can unequip some or all of the old items if you want, the unequipped ones will be put in a corner and you can re-equip them later if you want.
Only, to save me trouble, please do this only once a month.
Q. Can you connect the habitats of my two Pixels, or put them in the same picture?
A. No. Sorry but I'm not going to do anything of that sort, for a series of reasons.
One, I don't like the idea. Two, I've never heard of a breedables shop who does that. Three, it would be a crapload of work for me.
If you want to have a picture of your pets together, you can order a photo.

Example of a Pixel
1: The Pixel (in this case a basic purple egg)
2: Mood Stars. If you're around, the pet gains stars. Otherwise it loses them. Zero stars, and it'll probably get another owner.
3: Pixel's name. There's a max of 8 characters.
4: Pixel's stage. There are 5 stages: egg, cracked egg, baby, young, adult.
The background of this Pixel is Day.
Colors
Default colors (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple)
200 gold each. I have the right to change the price of the pixels/items/landscapes whenever I want, but I will not change them too much.
Custom colors
400 gold each.
If you want a certain colour, you can post the hexadecimal code, or a link to an image containing the colour you want, or the MS Paint numbers (hue/sat/lum)... anything goes.
Otherwise just name the colour and I'll do my best to match it.
Striped, spotted or checkered
450g for those, pick 2 colors.
Rainbow
500g, please pick which style (1, 2, 3 or 4) you like best.
Butterfly pixel
1k, pick the colours for the wings and the body.
Angelic pixel
1k, pick the colours for the wings and the body. Please only choose pastel/light colours for the wings, otherwise it won't look good.
100% custom pet or habitat
Aiko used to make these. Maybe she'll sell some in the future, but now please don't ask for customs as she is too busy.
Habitats
I'm in the process of re-organizing the habitats and adding new stuff. If there's something not clear, ask me.
You might notice I changed some prices: some got lower, some got higher.
From left to right, we have day, dawn/dusk and night.
1st row: basic (free)
2nd row: with tree (+100g)
3rd row: with rainbow (+100g)
4th row: with castle (+150g)
You can also mix-and-match those, for example you can order night with castle and tree (250g), or day with rainbow and tree (200g).

Other stuff to mix-and-match! You can as always order day, dusk or night, I just haven't got samples yet.
Change the grass colour to dry yellow or autumn orange, perfect for this season (+100g).
Add a tree with fallen leaves - choose between green or red leaves (+100g).
Add a stream (+100g).
With mountains or snowcapped mountains (+100g).
The X-Mas Background isn't available, so please don't order it. It will be available on X-Mas period (Dec. 15th - Dec. 31th)
Please read your order twice if you're choosing from the 2nd row wink
1st row: day beach, dawn beach, night beach (150g)
2nd row: clouds (150g), clouds with rainbow (200g), rainbow clouds (100g) [!]
3rd row: snow (100g), space (100g), underwater (see below)
Underwater is 100g, plus 50g for every add-on you want. Currently available: algae, fish, anchor. Add-on preview.
Rooms (150g)
Those can be customized with your favourite colours/textures.
Step 1: choose a texture for the wall and the floor
Wall: plain (A), stripes (B), hearts (C), stars (D), circles (E).
Floor: plain (A), wood (B), carpet (C).
OR get a custom one for an added 100g (easy things only, like stripes or squares, please).
Step 2: choose the colours
In your order, clearly state the colour of the floor, 1st colour for the wall and 2nd colour for the wall (the hearts, stars and circles in the sample).
If you choose colours that go very bad together and hurt sight, I reserve the right of changing them into something more decent.
Graffiti wall (700g)
Pick a short text (max 7-8 letters, otherwise it's too small to be read) and a colour for the text, wall and floor.
Moving
You can move your Pixel from an habitat to another. It costs 100 gold + the price of the habitat you're moving to.
(Examples: moving to beach costs 250, moving to night costs 100)
If you wish to move back later, you will still have to pay 100 + habitat price.
Extra rooms
If your Pixel needs extra space, you can purchase extra rooms. They're abour the same size of a normal box (so with 1 extra room you'll double your space, etc.) and they're linked to the main room with a tube. Each extra room costs 100 gold + the price of the habitat (choose habitats from the above list).
Family Photos
Every Pixel has his/her own rooms, but if you want an image of all of your Pixels in the same room you can order a family photo. Any item/Pixel that appears in the photo costs you 50g. You can choose any background and mix-and-match them. You can also add a short description.
Birthday Eggs (1200g)
Note: you can purchase one for yourself, even if it's not your birthday, but where's the point in that?
I will send your friend a PM with an image like this.
On the day of his/her b-day, the giftbox will open and a stage 5 pixel will appear. It'll have 5 stars and will never be put up for adoption, and it can breed.
You can choose one or two colours for the pixel, and simple patterns like stripes, spots, split, etc.
If you want to, you can have your friend choose the colours. Just put "let the receiver pick" in the form, and when I PM them the giftbox I will ask them which colours they want the pixel to be.
You can mix-and-match (and recolour) these 3 accessories for free.

1. To breed, the two Pixels must be both stage 5 and have five happiness stars.
Both owners must post the Breeding form, and one of them must send me a trade with 1.5k gold. It's up to you how to divide the cost.
((Price has been raised because everyone was breeding winged pixels and they're quite a pain in the back. If you're breeding two non-winged, non-special, non-custom pixels, the price is only 1k.))
2. I will create a box like the usuals, with both Pixels in. This box can't have extra rooms, and it has got hearts instead of stars. The hearts show the love between the Pixels - more hearts mean more love, and more eggs.
3. If you want to, you can post in the breeding RP thread This will affect the number of hearts, as well as posts in this topic and how the Pixel was cared for in the past.

4. After a week or so, the female will lay from 1 to 5 eggs (usually 3-4).

The colour of the eggs depends mainly on the colour of the parents, but who knows what can happen...

5. In a week's time, you must choose a name and a habitat for each Pixel (of course, paying for beach, space, etc.)
It's up to you to decide who will keep which egg, or if you want to sell them. In this case 20% of the profit goes back to the shop.
You can also put them up for adoption. The new owner will pay a 200 gold fee (more for rare colors), and half of it will go to you.

Unluckily, some owners think that the Pixels are just pretty rectangles to decorate a signature or journal.
Since I spend a lot of time to update them, I'd be glad to see a bit of activity around the shop. I don't require RP (although it's greatly appreciated), just that you pop in every week or so to show you're still alive.
If after some months someone hasn't showed up, their pets will be put in the Adoption Center without warning.
Everyone is welcome to adopt a pet, regardless of how many they have.
To adopt, just send the trade and put the name of the Pixel(s) you want in the trade title.
I'd also appreciate it if you post in the thread that you're adopting a Pixel, so other people know.
It's first come first serve, but I have the right of reserving Pixels for certain people.
There's currently no pet in the Adoption Center.
