General Rules
  • Be nice; we want a happy cheerful thread and if anyone is being a bully they get to face the rage of Sora
  • Read all these rules, that way we wont hear "But I didn't know!" We wont expect that more then once, twice or never.
  • No stealy the arty! Sora works hard on the art and we wont allow others to take her work!
  • Respect the power of the mods! We do have the right to ban you from our thread, take away your pet, and even refuse to sell to you. We are not mean but we did put alot of effort into this thread and expect to get respect for it.
  • No more then 3/4 quotes per post Now we understand that if the thread gets busy you want to make sure people know who you're talking to, but it's easy to keep the quote numbers down. Use common sense and don't have most of your post be quote.
  • RP, RP, RP,RP This is bolded and under lined for a reason. YOU MUST DO IT. RP intesenive means just that! RP intensive. if you don't think you can handle it then don't apply for one.

Flatsale Rules
  • Flatsales will be priced 20k, unless stated otherwise.
  • You must have entry in before deadline. Once a FS is started you will have a set time to get your entry in. YOu can only be late if you have a REALLY good reason not and we're feeling generous. Don't count on it.
  • No editing once deadline has been passed You don't need much more then this do you?
  • Only one entry per person No you can't try for both slots, just one can be tried for.
  • No discouraging others to join We will not appcreate this, and you may be disqualified if we catch you doing this.
  • Entries can be in ethir first or third person We do not care which you use but use one or the other.
  • Don't be a sore loser/winner We all know it sucks to loose a FS, but you don't think to complain about it. This will not be apprcreated and will not make us want to give you one later. Also if you win and we see you rubbing it in the face of the loosers you will get in trouble. Be nice people!

  • OOC must be kept seperate from IC If a RP is going on, make sure people can tell when you're all OOC and when you're not.
  • RP Regularly This is an RP intensive pet and we will want regular journal posts, and RPs and yes you will be expected to keep up on both.
  • Non-Ruesaian pets welcomed You got pets from other parts of Gaia? Feel free to RP them here, so long you don't neglect your Ruesaian.
  • You're free to RP without a Ruesaian This is placed in the world of Gaia, your propective owner is allowed to visit the office before reciving a crystal

This Contest is like an FS but with predetermined emotion/element. You will be trying for an insane ice female. That should be loads of fun, price 20k. This FS is dedicated to the 18th birthday of owner and artist of Ruesaiah, Sora Icefreeze, (and you wonder why it's an ice element). This will run into December as part of our Winter Event.

Okay Ruesaiah Secret Santa is giving away familiars heart Whooo! These SS are going to be four different kinds: fox, bunny, wolf, and seal. These four animals will be part of a three stage growing system. The first stage will be a crystal ornament, the second will be a baby version and then the finale stage. In the finale stage accessories will appear, but only if you pay extra for him. Accessories include: bracelets, bangles*, necklace, scarves, knitted hats and earrings.

Each SS is 2k. We only have premades here but we have the accessories to make up for that. Because familiars (at least these ones) are in realistic style we have opted to not do custom color or cosplays like other SSes but we have our accessories. Accessories is prices vary. The following chart is to show how the different prices add up.

Long time ago there was a continent called Ruesaiah. It had mountains, rivers, deserts, forest, fields and flowers. Ruesaiah is also home for a race of people who ruled the land and themselves with runes and spells. A pact with nature gave the Ruesians their Magik, but it was their wisdom in wielding it that allowed them to keep it.

They ran their land peacefully, cultivating the land around them. They flourished under their peaceful reign, attracting traders from lands near and far, brining wealth to many in Ruesians. Many admired the rule in Ruesaiah tried to copy it in their own lands with less then perfect results. Sadly the rule also caught the attention of Naresh, the War Lord for the Vladizerc tribe.

The Vladizerc tribe was a group of brutish and cruel barbarians with hopes to rule the world even though their army was small in numbers. The made up quantity with quality. The Vladizerc needed more followers, more soldiers and more Magik. Ruesaiah was the perfect place to get all three. Of course they knew Ruesians would not willingly agree, so they did what they did best; prepared to take it by force.

The barbaric army attacked Ruesaiah suddenly with no warning. The Vladizerc captured many villages, while the Ruesian survivors fled to the cities in fear. There the mages threw up their defenses spells, stopping all the Vladizercs' attacks of both weapons and Magik. The two contrasting groups were stuck in stalemate; the Ruesians refusing to attack and the Vladizercs unable to.

The Vladizerc Warlord, Naresh, is not known for being a patient man. The stalemate infuriated the seasoned warrior. He called together all his battle mages, issuing an order for a new spell to destroy the Ruesians' Magik shields. The Battle Mage Adept informed him the only way for the desired results was to combine every Master Mage's skills and Magik, a feat that was previously unheard of. Combined Magiks on a Large Scale of different magnitudes is unruly and dangerous. The effects are also unknown!

"I don't care how you get those shields down! Just get it done!" Naresh thundered at his minions before leaving the room. The Battle Mage Adept shook her head and she collogues sighed. The troubled looking Master Mage of the Vladizerc all gathered together. Each bought out their personal collection of Ancient Texts, personally discovered runes, and Ancient Magik. Devising a new spell that would wipe out the Ruesians for good was no easy feat. To get all the independent Master Mage to cooperate with former rivals was difficult. In the end however, the Battle Mage Adept's authority was enough to quell dissent and force a truce. A Combined Magik attack was ready.

The date for the unleash of this new and unknown power soon came. Milling about their massive Runic Circle, All the Master Mages fringed around their Battle Mage Adept, awaiting her signal.

It was perfect, or so everyone though. Everything for the invitation of the spell was deceptively perfect. The spell was locked on target to the Ruesian's main city when it happed.


Cataclysm.

The spell back fired and turned on its casters, freezing the Vladizercs in crystals, their souls trapped forever in crystallized bodies. The Combined Magik spell was not satisfied with just the invaders though. Initially intended for the Ruesian's, the spell began its path of Destruction. Luckily for the Ruesians however, the shields were tough for the Spell and it wasted much of its energy eating up the shields. Realizing that its effect was wearing, the Combined Spell gathered into itself, gathering energy.

Everything was still... deathly so when BAM! A giant shockwave blasted throughout the land. The Spell had exploded!

The Ruesian Mages felt the shockwave better than anyone else. Fearing the worse, they quickly used their strongest defense shields in fear of a more devastating aftershock. Unsure of what the Initial shockwave had done and will do, the Ruesian mages pooled their power and carved the continent they ruled out of the land. Using the most Ancient of Runes and Aged Crystals, they managed to float their continent up into the safety of the heavens. Using the last of their Magik which they bought with years of their lives, the spent Ruesian Mages then hit Magik Circles on the earth as a Gateway between their Floating Continent of Ruesaiah and the earth.

At last, they had peace and the people of Ruesaiah breathed in relief.

Little did they know was that it was the land itself that was now their enemy. Life went on as normal for Ruesaiah, but soon disaster struck. A month after the Initial Shockwave, a citizen fell dead suddenly. The cause was unknown. A once healthy 9 year old girl that had no illness or diseases suddenly fell ill and died. Many such cases occurred where healthy people suddenly fell ill and died. The population was declining at an alarming rate and the survivors cried over their lost loves. They cried crystal tears.

The young fell first, leaving grieving families who realized their land was doomed. They had no idea how the spell was cast or its true intent. The Mages that were strong and powerful enough to have been put in charge with the Vladizerc crisis had passed away, leaving weaker mages behind, clueless as to the cause and reason of this phenomena.

Slowly one by one the Ruesians died, their souls wandering the land with no memory or purpose.

The crystallized tears littered the land but the souls paid no attention to them till one tear called to a soul, called it inside its crystal, nurturing that soul till it could remerge with a second chance.

Stage 1: Resonating Crystal

Feeling someone or something pull and beckon at your very soul, you arranged for a mysterious appointment with Sora or Rhu. After a series of questioning, you were charged with the care of a crystal. This crystalized tear drop of a long gone Ruesaian has been acting up lately in Sora's and Rhu's work room and thus, you were given the task of looking after itthe duo are too lazy/busy to do it themselves. Although the soul is weak, the crystal seems to want show its true colors soon. Sadly however, the soul is still unstable and cannot support it self yet. When holding it, you can feel the vibrations from the energy that seems to roll off your charge in occasional feeble waves.


Stage 2: Brilliant Crystal

Your crystal has been acting weird lately. After your appointment with Sora and or Rhu, you find out that the soul has stabilized at last and shines with its elemental alignment. With an undetermined appointment date set up for the future, you were release- erm, escorted out of the building with a warning of: "It gets harder here on out so take care of that child,". As time rolls by with the crystal in your care, you notice with alarm that the crystal pulses occasionally, causing things to happen in your home.... unwanted things...


Stage 3: Pulsing Crystal

Oh noooo!! Your crystal has gone practically berserk! Due to its element based waves of energy, your life has been greatly disturbed. Near the end of your ropes, you're summoned back to the institute where Sora and or Rhu has temoprarily 'sealed' the excess energies of your child. Seems that the emotion of the soul has been awakened and thus, the soul yearns to be free of its prismic prison. Don't worry, the seal is just keeping all that power contained in the crystal so that it can solidify. After all, the soul is still young and delicate. Any extreme bursts of energy may cause it to die!


Stage 4: Baby

There are a few whisps of energy around it. These are the lingering thoughts, the doubts the released soul has on its 2nd chance in life. Shards of its crystals may be stuck on the child.
*NOTE*
This is a sample using the shop mules/mascots/NPCs, Rhu (male) and Rhe (female). Rhu is a Dark Element Sadness type where as his younger sister, Rhe, is Light Element Happiness type. This is also a sneak peak/hint at how twins would look. Otherwise, it's just 1 bebeh <3

Stage 5: Child
The child is almost completely (or is completely) free of it's crystals. It's soul has settled and now the Ruesaian is at it's more 'normal' stage. The child is between 4-7 and while they might be intrested in magic or their past they don't show any hint of skills yet. They are simply children.

Stage 6: Apprentice

A child around 10-12, this is when your charge is showing intrest in the basic foundations of its class and shows inklings of future skills. Small shards of the crystals is in its hair.

Stage 7: Journeyman

Your charge is now a teen around 15-19who is exploring itself and its heritage. The weight of being a lost soul of a Lost Civilization come back to life is heavy. At this point, they are honning thier skills since it is the only thing that it understands. Everything else, present life, past life, the future, all that is uncertain and causes confusion and agony.

Stage 8: Master

Your charge is now an adult around 21-26. They are a master of thier craft and class. Although some parts of life is still a headache and a source of pain, they are now mature enough to just let the whole matter 'just be' and 'go with the flow'. They may not be the supreme master at this point, but they are still highly advanced and skilled.

Stage 9: Adept

SUPER HARD TO ATTAIN!. This stage is basically a custom art and can ONLY be attained by winning an rp contest with a fee of 10k. The art is a full body CG which you specify. You specify the age, clothing, and appearence. At this stage, your child is wise. Really wise. In fact, maybe too wise for you. They understand things on a different level and thier past, present, and future has fused into one for them. In a sense, they are 'enlightened' and have transcended above normal mortal thoughts and behavier... that doesn't mean they will act like it. They understand that in this plan of living, one has to act a certain way.. and hey. They love you. You raised them, a lost child. For you, they wont act like a buddha or a jesus or an allah or any other enlightened god. They are your child and will continue to act as how they were, just more mature and wise. They are a supreme master of thier craft and makes even Rhu and Rhe, the First Ruesaians to come back to life, a run for his money.
