Welcome to Gaia! ::

top banner and intro

As you walk down the street a sudden deliciouse smell attracts your attention. You turn and see this little hole-in-the-wall bakery with a sign that says 'OPEN' on the door. Curiousity got the better of you and you decided to take a peek in. Stepping through the door a loud jingling bell proclaims your presence and the delicious smell of baked goods fills your nose.
"Cooooooomiiiiing"
The singing sound of a woman in the back of the shop echo's before she pops out from around the corner behind the cases upon cases of deliciouse treats. You look up at the woman and ask a simple question.
"What is this place?"
The woman smiles wide obviously pleased with the question and replies in a cheerful almost singing tone.
"Come in Come in! Come in and take a look around, SpaZZco Bakery. . . . . . "

-------------------------------------------------------------

SpaZZco Bakery is a shop where you can purchase pets with a pastry theme. Each pet comes with a border and collar and can be personalized for you. Outfits and accesories can be purchased for your pet/pastry, as well as aditional outfits and accesories that will be kept in an inventory. For a small fee, you can chage the outfit your pet is wearing at any time for any reason ^^

Rules
-------------------------------------------------------------

1. Be polite and follow the Gaia TOS. That's not really much to ask for.

2. DO NOT STEAL THE ARTWORK! Yes you have purchased it, and it is yours, but DO NOT claim that you made it.

3. DO NOT STEAL THE CHARACTERS! All the premade characters in this shop belong to Asashi, unless otherwise stated.

4. Do not PM the staff. All questions you have can be answered in the thread and if for some unforseen reason you simply MUST ask in a PM, PLEASE PM SpaZZco Bakery. SpaZZco Bakery is the mule made SPECIFICALLY for this thread, use her.

5. Leave the damned drama at the door! We don't wanna hear all about your real life problems x___x This does not mean we discourage chatting, quite the opposite really, just don't go starting up arguments, bashing other people, or bickering over silly unrelated things that have nothing to do with the shop.

FAQ
-------------------------------------------------------------

What are these being used for? Well, some people just like to collect pets ^^ The best place to display these would be in a signature or on your profile page. Although these are intended for use on Gaia, you may use them on other personal sites as well, so long as you give credit and link back to this thread.

I thought you were selling PASTRIES! These don't look like pastries! Ok, I admit. This is really just a pet store. Truth be told, Asashi designed Muffin and Cupcake before she ever even had this idea to make them pets. But when she DID decide to sell them as pets, what better idea than to make them friends, name them ALL after pastries, then sell them in a baked goods shop ^^

I like one of the outfit options for *name character* but I'd really like to have it on this other character. Will you do that? Sorry, but certain clothes and outfits are specific to each character. If you want something not normally designed for that character, you will have to custom order it.

What about colors? Can you change the color of this character or outfit? Yes but you will have to special order it.

Are you hiring? Not really, sorry ^^; But if you really think you would be a significant addition to our group, you can always propose yourself to us. Just make sure you PM spazzco bakery and not one of the other employees here. And don't be bitter if you're turned down. We're pretty well staffed as it is.

Do you take pet trades? Sometimes ^^ It really depends on the pet you're offering, or who you bribe ^^; The biggest pet collector on our team is Ryry. Asashi, though, is a no (although she is an avid art collector). Both of us are extramly picky though, so don't be bitter if you're turned down.

Why does Spazz use different colors of text when she talks in the thread? The different colors of text represent the different people who are using her ^^ Spazz is the shop mule, and she is shared between all the employees. Pink text denotes Asashi using her, purple text denotes Ryanna.

Mix a Topping
-------------------------------------------------------------

Now that you've chosen a pastry, it's time to top it with all sorts of clothing ^^

Our Specialties
-------------------------------------------------------------

We have prepared specialty clothings sets for each of the pastries that we serve~ Pick one of these to ensure that your pastry looks its best ^^

note: each one of these specialties is a whole outfit that may not be taken apart or added to.

Specialty of the Month
-------------------------------------------------------------

Every month we try to bring you a new limited edition specialty~ Each one of these specialties are available for a limited time only and will be served only once, so be sure to order yours when you see it~

Changing your Pastry's Toppings
-------------------------------------------------------------

One of the services we offer here at SpaZZco is the always available option of redressing your pastry with your other pre-purchased toppings~ Why do we charge for each change? Well, simply put, it takes effort to change your pastry ^^;

Changing a topping: 100 gold

Adding toppings to your inventory: 500 gold
(this is in addition to the charge of the toppings themselves)

Special Orders
-------------------------------------------------------------

Want a really special pastry? Special orders are always available, although the price and the time it takes to deliver it to you will depend on the complexity of the order you make. Simple orders can be something like a special eye color or special markings and can sometimes be done in the same amount of time as a regular order with a low additional charge while complex orders may be something more along the lines as a specialty outfit or a whole new pastry that doesn't use one of the pre-made bases, which can take several weeks to put together and can be very expensive. PM SpaZZco Bakery if you are interested in a special order.

Staff: Asashi, Artist and Designer
-------------------------------------------------------------

Asashi is the main designer for this shop and has created most of the characters as well as doing all of the artwork, line art, and coloring.

Somewhat interesting things about her: Asashi loves to draw and has been doing so for many many years. She is 23 now and is married with three kitties that she just loves to death. She is also extreamly slow at drawing and is excelent at procrastinating (the date of this post compared to the opening date will give you a pretty good example of just how bad she is). Asashi is semi-active in a couple of choice guilds but is rearely seen in the forums. On the rare ocasions you see her about, she is almost always in the art discussion forum, although occasionally can be found in the picture post.

Asashi spends most of her free time attending to the needs of her little family, working, and spending what little free time she has with friends when she can. She can also be found sleeping much of the time >_> She currently works at a small pizza and pasta shop as a cook, has a degree in culinary arts, gets paid far less than she should >_> (although she's also working at a far easier job than she could do) She loves to bake and wishes she could get a position at a real life bakery (although it's unlikely as she seems to be extreamly sensitive to floating flour in the air x__x) Although she proclaims to be a very busy person, she can usually manage to hop onto Gaia at least once a day to check a few things (including this thread) before flying off to do her next chore. Interests of hers include fasion (lolita and goth especially), art, and dolls.

Asashi is commisionable (she likes money gold), although if you wish to commision her, you must PM her for info.

About SpaZZco
-------------------------------------------------------------

Although SpaZZco is being used as a general company name, it has a back story, and Spazz is an actual person ^^ You may have seen the name before, there are a couple other shops around bearing the name, all of which, including the name, are partially owned by Asashi.

The real Spazz is male, and is actually Asashi's real life husband. He was first dubbed Spazz at his first job when he was 16, and has been using the name SpaZZco for about 4 years now. Prior to SpaZZco, he used the name sAc Productions, Sac being his primary name of choice (his real name doesn't really matter, much like Asashi's or any of the other owners do, although if you're really clever and stalk Asashi a bit, you might just find it out ^^; ).

About Spazz, the Gaia character
--------------------------------------------------------------

That's great and all, but what about the character here on Gaia? Sac actually has nothing do do with this character, and she is controlled by both Asashi and Ryanna. The color of text she is using at any given moment shows who is using her. Pink denotes Asashi and purple denotes Ryanna.
