Hallo there, world =D So it turns out that no less than three colorists at Anthropomorphs have the SAME BIRTHDAY OEMGEEWOW [Sept. 17th], so we've decided to have a nifty little conglomeration of events for... you know. Celebration purposes =D

Anyhoo, just a warning to passerby afore you venture further - Anthropomorphs is a YAOI shop. This means shounen-ai, BL, boy x boy luvvin', hot monkey --you get the picture. No likey, you don't have to stay ;3

Triple Shot Auction

As you may be aware, the last auction here was AB'd within the first two days of its existence. After a little chatting, we've decided to give peeps a second chance at getting their hands on a couple - well, three - custom Anthros, again one done by each of us. With a twist! --...actually, no, there isn't a twist. I [Jan] just sorta wish there was. Oh well. Second verse, same as the first! A repeat auction =D

In terms of Anthropomorphs, Jan is very partial to characters with some sort of supernatural ability, she also really likes those creative events - therefore, we bring you this SemeUke Demon below~ (Note: He's a magician, and that floaty is a crystal ball. -Edo's Art Contest-

Everybody loves art, right? Drawing, writing, or what have you. So yes, this is an art contest.

It is not restricted to drawing, however, as there is three categories. Three prizes too, but only one is an anthro.

Starts- September 17th, 12 pm, PST.
Ends- Same day and time as the event.
Fee- None

Send all entries to Anthropomorph.

3rd place -

Lineart hasn't been cleaned up, and it will be colored, dun worry.

How it works

This is how it will work. There will be three winners, but not one from each category. One prize, the OL anthro, will go to the overall most enjoyable piece. The second prize, the half-off breeding, will go to the person will the most amusing piece. The third prize, an OL petpet, will go to the most original.

Rules

1|| You can enter one piece for each category.
2|| Keep all pieces PG-13.
3|| Do NOT put down anyones artwork. Period.
4|| Don't put down your own artwork. Even if you have the best piece of artwork in the world, you'll find something wrong with it.
5|| Just...do as you know you should.

The Way You Are

Feline eyes gazed into the mirror as they unraveled the towel in the now shoulder length black tresses. With a loud sigh the boy’s ears flicked away the extra water, the black hair dye that had bled into the soft pink of his inner ear. Picking up the blue tinted contacts, and putting them in his eyes changed from golden feline eyes to a humanly green.

Walking out of his bathroom he moved into his bedroom where he hurriedly donned on a pair of pants, looping his long white tail threw the belt loops. Lastly he threw on an oversized t-shirt to hide the tail, and a white baseball cap to cover his ears.

Sighing once again, he headed down stairs to grab his backpack, and some breakfast before going to his human school. The school that made him have to hide who he was, the reason he wore the contacts that didn’t correct his vision, the reason his hair- head fur that never stayed dyed for more then twelve hours was dyed every morning. He often asked why he couldn’t go to an Anthromorph school with his own kind, but the answer was simple the closest one was an hour and a half away.

Quickly grabbing what was needed, including a piece of hard dark bread with lochs [1] for breakfast he left the house to walk the twenty minutes to school. Ten of which he got to walk with his crush. Demetri who was in the same year but in another class, had been meeting the little cat boy since kindergarten at the crossroads to walk the rest of the way to school. And in those numerous years they had become the best of friends, not to mention what was thought to be a one-sided crush.

“Mi’aric, morning!” called a tall blond dressed in khaki slacks and a navy mock turtleneck.

The cat boy- Mi’aric smiled, “How are you Dem?”

The two boys began to walk down the street the warm spring air playing with wet black hair and short blond. Although Demetri never answered his friend’s question, there was an odd understanding between the two- a silent form of communicating. It was really estranged for the two boys as they were to be friend, for Demetri’s class system aimed him for university life. While Mi’aric’s prepared one for taking on a job apprenticeship. [2]

Reaching their school they made their way slowly up the grey stone steps of the grey-tan stone building. Mi’aric because he had no energy for his first class of the morning, how could one think that French as a second language at 07.50 was a good idea? While Demetri walked slowly because he enjoyed keeping pace with his friend.

They were about to part ways at the staircase to the middle section of the higher floors, when a rambunctious young child ran straight into Mi’aric. The white furred cat boy fell back sliding back about a meter, he shook his head to stop the dizziness.

When Mi’aric could see straight again the first thing he noticed was the crowd around the crying child, and upset older sibling- a girl in his class. The next thing he noticed was Demetri’s wide blue eyes, and the white baseball cap in his hands- Mi’aric’s baseball cap!

A hand to his ears confirmed his horrifying suspicion. And then with cat like reflexes Mi’aric was gone down the stairs to the basement level and into a dark corner under the stairs. Silent tears streamed down his face, sharp teeth bit into his lip to stifle any sounds his body wanted to make.

Pulling his knees tightly to his chest Mi’aric cried into them; ears drooping dismally to his dyed hair that was already showing white roots. The cat boy’s tail had come out a couple loops the tip flicking back and forth under the t-shirt in a worried agitation.

There were suddenly warm arms enveloping the crying boy a voice so calm and gentle making Mi’aric’s ears twitch, “It is all right ‘Aric, I rather like your ears.”

The black head shot up, teary green eyes peered into blue, “But…”

“No buts ‘Aric I’ve known for years actually I just didn’t know how to tell you,” replied Demetri with a soft smile as he rubbed circles on his friend’s back.

“How Dem?”

“That time in kindergarten when I woke you up but you couldn’t come out and play because there was no one to put your contacts in: you had those gorgeous gold kitten eyes. Or that time when you fell asleep watching the movie at my house: your hair un-dyed, and I saw your tail. And now these ears… they are simply adorable, defiantly not a thing to hide!” Demetri answered.

Mi’aric stared at his friend in disbelief, “But-“ before the golden eyed boy could finish his mouth was captured in a delicate kiss; one that was gentle and probing and full of a deep loving emotion.

Demetri pulled away, wiping away tears from porcelain skin, “No ‘Aric, none of this self doubt you’re gorgeous just the way are. And if anyone says otherwise I’ll kill them. Now let’s get to class before it is too late.”

[1] Hard dark bread: just what it is hard dark colored bread
Lochs: (German) means salmon in general when referenced in English or in this context raw salmon.
[2] Swiss schooling style. Mi’aric is in Diplommittleschule, and Demetri is doing the Matura.

The 'Misc.' Artwork

This is for the pieces that can't be put into the other two categories. It can be banners, manipulated photos (if this confuses anyone, I mean taking a picture of say, a celebrity and turning them anthro, or something like that), backgrounds, et cetera et cetera. Still has to be anthro related.

Kiara's Designer Event~

Yes a Clothes designing event

You can draw on any canvas and you don't have to be good to enter either.
All entries are accepted

You can have a Max of 3 entries they can be black and white but preferably color, you can fill in the spots if you can't color.
The outfit must be unique and something that isn't to complex yet not to simple.

The Event starts on September 22nd at 12am EST
Now the event will end and judgeing will start as soon as the celebration is over.

The winner will get an anthro drawn from scratch by Kiara Lime Dressed in the outfit Design that's choosen.
