9/20/04 - After an unremarkable life, Sieben disappeared for over a month. Her gemstone was recovered by the shop.
4/26/04 - A little but late but no worse for the wear, your feien arrived! Your care of her during blossom stage gave her two additional stat points.
4/18/04 - The petals shifted slightly towards the candle... Sun was okay, but the bloom looks a bit stressed.

Alas, I have acquired a Feien fairy bloom with the help of Prolixity. The blossom arrived today and after close inspection it appears to be some sort of water lily hybrid. I'm not quite sure what type, though.

For now, the bloom is being kept in a small pot in my room filled with rich soil. There's a light placed over it, which will have to be removed if the blossom reacts negatively. I'm planning to keep experimenting until I find an area the bloom seems to enjoy. =) Hopefully I won't damage the poor thing in the process...

God...:B
The bloom looks fine. Not great, not terrible, just fine. It's not happy, but neither is it unhappy.

Hmm...Was hoping for a little better reaction. Maybe I'll place it in some water and see what that does for its happiness. =)

Removed the blossom from the water - That was close! o_o It doesn't appear that I'm doing so well at this experimentation. I think I'll try dry heat next, maybe in the form of a candle. Also noting not to put the bloom too close, as that could be fatal for the flower.

I placed my bloom on the windowsill this morning, and it appears to like the sun. It hasn't reacted to the candle yet, although I'm guessing we will see something soon. Another interesting thing happened today - as I was observing the bloom, my pixapup Bron seemed quite interested in it. He whined and pawed at the windowsill, so I eventually caved and let him up there. Bron seems to enjoy the company of the bloom - he's very intrigued by it. Ron, however, could care less about it. He gave it a once over and simply walked away. Interesting...

Hm. Busy day today, not much time to record events with the bloom. :/ Cought Carson doodling something in his notebook while we were on the KyunKunru hunt today, and was surprised to find out what it was. To my knowledge, it's the bloom and its candle. I found this pretty odd since Carson hasn't really reacted to anything other than his reflection in the mirror positively. Anyway, here's a quick scan of the drawing, I need to return his notebook before he notices...

I feel the need to reiterate my lack of time spent with the bloom today. I felt sort of bad, since I should be bonding with it as much as possible. This morning before leaving I changed the position of the bloom, putting it on my desk and hidden from the sun. The candle continues to burn quite brightly as Bron watches over the little bloom. Another trait that endears me to these pets...What loyalty. =)

After a long and mostly uneventful trip into the bowels of Oregon, I have come home to find that my Feien has emerged! Needless to say, when I came home I was extremely surprised. I also felt a twinge of guilt for not actually witnessing her arrival...But she seems pretty able to take care of herself. In fact, as soon as I entered the house I knew something was up...Everything cleaned up and waiting for me. She introduced herself promptly, even though she had no name. We did have a time thinking of one! She said she'd seen the word 'sieben' in the title of a book and thought it sounded rather nice. I thought for a moment after informing her that sieben meant seven, and seeing that she felt indifferent. There was one thing that intrigued me, though. She seemed to take pride in the fact that she read the parts of the book I had translated. Not only is she pretty, but smart too!

Sieben seems to have an affinity for the pets of mine that she has met, especially the canine ones. Just a note to self - Must stop by the Pixapets shop and see what animal Sie chooses. More on this later!

So much has gone on since I last checked in! First off, Sieben’s been out and about quite a bit. We've gotten many a new family member, Equus and Ronach probably being the most interesting of them. Sieben’s met a few Feien – including the juvenile Tosten and his intellectual superior Aileron, both of which I’ve heard all about via Sieben. In our time apart she’s also gotten a pixapup, a tiny little husky to be precise. He’s named Acht, and is rarely seen away from Sieben. She brings him everywhere with her! In fact, she’s even come up with a sketch of something that looks like a miniscule dog tote. Anyway, I figure it’s time to let Sieben start her own diary. We started out with the regular diary routine, but I found that Sieben soon got bored of it. So now I’ve taught her how to use the video-camera rather than just writing everything. I would’ve volunteered to tape myself, but she insists on doing it alone.

Weasley’s dusty VCR wheezes slightly as the tape begins to roll. It’s playing static…and only static for a long minute before Sieben’s tawny face appears. She blinks confusedly into the camera.
“Is it on yet?” she questioned, moving a metallic lock of hair from her eyes and backing away from the device. A louder, more pronounced voice took form from somewhere out of the camera’s range. “Is the red light on?”
“Oh…right. Yes,” Sieben cleared her throat quickly before continuing her entry.
“Well…it seems that I now have an obligation, diary, and that is to record my thoughts using this very camera. Now I ask of you – just how am I supposed to pour my soul out to you? The chances of this video being found is a chance I cannot take. Which is why, diary, I just can not use you,” she folded her arms across her chest and took a seat on the floor, where she was welcomed warmly by Acht’s tiny tongue.
“Not now, love,” Sieben muttered in protest to his affections. “I’m busy,” she pointed towards the lens slowly, an idea evident on her face. “Acht…Acht, I have an idea!” she murred enthusiastically to the dog before leaning over and whispering something unheard into his ear. She turned, once again, back towards the camera.
“Never mind about all that! Acht here has agreed to keep careful watch over these tapes, and to place them where no one will ever think to look…” she paused to wink at the tiny husky, who in turn yipped happily.

Seemingly out of nowhere, a small, winged boy who appears to be around the age of eight flitters into view. He looks rushed, and becomes visibly uncomfortable after noticing he's being videotaped. He mumbles something to Sieben and disappears as quickly as he came.

"Diary, it appears that I'm going to have to end this for now - until next time, Auf Wiedersehen!" She winked knowingly at the camera as if they had shared an intimate secret, and snapped off the tape. The video continues rolling, bringing us back to the beginning's static.

Sieben seems rather aloof lately. She's always eager to leave the house, and doesn't seem to enjoy being stationary for long periods of time. Which, unfortunately, conflicts greatly with my schedule. She'll usually leave for the Feien Shop on her own during the day. I appreciate that she has the consideration not to wake me but I'm also concerned that I'm not being the best bondmate to her. So from this entry on, I intend to change that. I will spend more time with her, and perhaps even accompany her on an outing to the shop. It's frustrating that she's closer with that...dog than she is with me. Even more so since Acht doesn't seem to get along well with my own Pixapets (although he is very friendly with humans and other Feien). I suppose we'll just have to see what happens.

<center>Sieben's Video</center>
Sieben heaved an exasperated sigh. "I hate admitting this, but Weasley is so boring," she confided to the camera. The ever-vigilant Acht sat attentively at her side. "She won't take me anywhere, she won't do anything with me, all she does is sleep. All freaking day." She rolled her eyes. "Sometimes I go out on my own just so my strength isn't lessened by constantly being cooped up inside the house. Oh!" Sieben grinned, an idea evident on her tiny face. "That reminds me. I was on a trip to the main Feien shop the other day, and I was having a hard time carrying Acht. He's getting quite big, you know." she moved to her left, absently giving the dog a pat on his stomach. "Of course, I can't not bring him with me right? So I came up with a brilliantly genious plan. I'm going to make him a carrying case! Isn't that clever?" Sieben beamed towards the camera. She leaned forward, gently placing a ripped piece of paper near the lens. It appeared to have been torn from some sort of book - page 462 to be exact.
<center>User Image</center>
"I've sketched out my idea so far, now all I need are the supplies so that I can begin to make it." another sigh. "I suppose I'll update this diary once more as soon as my bondmate gets off her lazy ...behind and decides to help me earn some gold. I told her I didn't feel cofortable just taking it from her, so she's letting me do chores around the house. Not exactly fun, but she could use some help I suppose." Sieben nodded absently to herself and flicked off the camera.
<center>Sieben's Tail</center>
Sieben sat cross-legged on a table in the middle of a broad living room. Bits of clutter were scattered across the tabletop, but appeared to lie in some state of order. A tiny hand reached for the piece of string that sat near it and found it to be out of reach; Sieben toppled over in an attempt to grab the item and landed in a jumbled heap. Mumbling slightly, she righted herself and scooped her pieces up.

Sieben hardly noticed the small crowd of Weasley's other pets that her work had drawn. She simply kept working, slowly trying to pierce the thick plastic chest. She knew this was the hardest part of her task - the rest was all simple. She'd planned it out many times, and of course now knew exactly what she was doing at the moment. It was perfect timing, too! she realized. Now she could bring Acht with her on the trip - and without any hassle! It was all working out so well. She half-congratulated herself for having thought of the idea in the first place. Well...almost thought of it. She'd seen the original item in one of Weasley's magazines...but no one needed to know that. For now, the glory was hers.

Finally making a hole in the plastic, she fumbled a little while looking for the string to thread through. Where the heck is it? She'd had it only a minute ago! Maybe it got lost when she stumbled? Sieben got to her feet and searched every inch of the table. The string was no where to be found! She looked time and time again. Over the table, on the floor, in the drawers - everywhere the string could possibly be.

Fourty minutes later, Sieben was very noticeably disheartened and took to moping around. She felt a timid tap on her shoulder and heard giggling behind her back. Sieben wheeled defensively, looking hurt as Equus hovered in the air, stifling his laughter. "Err...Sieben, dear? You've got something on your uh...your bum." He turned bright red and flew off, still giggling as he did.

Sieben's eyes widened as her own hand moved down to her rump. There was indeed something attatched, and it felt...why, it felt like a tail! Her face showed more curiousity than horror as she spun around in an attempt to see it. A conveniently-placed mirror
aided her quest and she stole glances at the new appendage. It did look like there was a little yellow tail growing from her rear! Sieben grabbed at where she thought it was and stroked. It was rough, and felt more like yarn than anything else. Wait...yarn?! She yanked. Sure enough, the 'tail' was plucked off with little pain, and Sieben was looking around suspiciously to make sure no one else had noticed.

Flushing even more than Equus had, she flew quickly back to her perch and finished her project. She'd even added a small pillow (stuffed with half of a marshmallow) for maximum comfort. Sieben fetched her dog and plopped him into the new contraption. She was determined to have a good time on this trip, and she couldn't be expected to go without Acht! With this mindset she set off up the stairs, intent on telling Weasley all about her achievement. Making sure, of course, to leave out all the embarassing parts.
