For information on how to enlist in Consortium, go here.

IN A GALAXY almost too big to police... enter the Consortium Defense Force! In this roleplay, each player joins as an enlisted Recruit of the CDF Space Navy on board a capital ship. It's up to the crew and officers to complete their missions and save the day. However, before the recruits can crew a vessel, they must first undergo the rigid training of the Consortium’s finest school, inside the enormous Pegasus Orbital. Over the next several months, these former civilians will be turned into the pride of the Consortium.

ABOUT THIS ROLEPLAY

This roleplay is based off an up-and-coming guild roleplay titled the Consortium Defense Force. CDF is a science-fiction space-navy roleplay that allows many players to operate onboard an ultra-high-tech war vessel of the future. This roleplay represents the training process that such a crew must undergo in order to be positioned on a ship. The Academy allows new players to develop their characters, friendships, skills, and knowledge of the CDF universe in an interesting, semi-school setting. Players are promoted as they increase in skill, and once they have attained an appropriate rank, are then posted onboard a naval ship. Note that this roleplay is very much experimental, and it is encourage and advised that new players familiarize themselves with the setting, technology, and posting practices of the CDF by posting and asking questions. Above all, the number one rule is to have fun!

ABOUT THE ACADEMY

Though the Academy on Pegasus is one of many, it is by far the most prestigious and honored school of martial technique in the Consortium. The Academy is situated on the upper twenty decks of the station, and is equipped with the most advanced facilities that the Consortium can offer. Inside the compound are thousands of recruit quarters, almost one hundred lecture halls, ten athletic and recreation halls, and several ARM (Artificial Reality Mainframe) labs for simulation of real-time or combat scenarios.

Pegasus Orbital is the center of the regional CDF. The station orbits the planet Morrones, which serves as the seat of the system's governor. The station itself, however, serves not only as a military post, but as a center of commerce and habitat for over twenty-thousand civilians. It is a normal occurrence for recruits to be found in the Commons, consorting with friends, shopping, or for entertainment. The station contains over forty massive docks that can accommodate ships up to 300 meters long, and has several out-of-station docking ports that can be used by even the largest battleships and cargo tankers.

Pegasus Orbital is located in the upper-right corner of the Alpha sector, near the borders of Gamma sector and the Core. Due to its fairly centralized location, it recieves travelers of all species, and is a cultural melting pot. When most recruits graduate, they are stationed aboard ships in the local area, but many are sent straight to the frontlines near Anok territory. Due to the large concentration of military units in the system, Morrones and Pegasus Orbital are free of raiding pirates, but the station still commands a sizable armament.

For the past 150 years Pegasus Orbital Academy has trained over a million naval officers. It is considered the most honored military school in the sector, and holds the record for most Captains and Admirals to have graduated from its care. Perhaps you will be among them.
Name: Dawn Lebourne
Species: Terran
Position: Medical
Appearance: Dawn is a pale, 5'6" tall brunnette who keeps her shoulder length curls tied in a loose bun. She has friendly forest green eyes, a petite nose and thin lips. Because of her current position as an M.D., she is always seen in a white or royal blue coat.
Personality: Dawn is always friendly and willing to help, but not to a point where it begins to annoy others. She is a relentlessly curious intellect, earning her a place in psychiatry when she is not tending to patients in the medical ward. She is stubborn when others question or disagree with her logic. As a result of the strict upbringing by her aloof parents, she is very inexperienced and is sometimes distant to anyone that tries to get romantically involved.
History: Not much is known about Dawn, except for the fact that she always wears a pretty smile. As a child, she was sent away by her parents to the best schools and highly encouraged her to earn a Ph. D, giving her no control over her own career path. Her circle of friends is small, but she hangs onto them dearly, despite how far she is from them now. She is aboard on the CDF Argus, working as a civilian doctor for a while until deciding to join the military to become a medic. Dawn's purpose for joining the military was to simply enjoy the progress to achieve status again, even though she had already done so with earning her Ph. D.

Name: Duroni
Species: Gurodani
Gender: Male
Position: Cooking/Labor: Cook & Rationing. Possibly checks or orders inventory as well?
Appearance: While one of the smaller of his species, to a human even Duroni would look intimidating. As a younger child Duroni walked almost solely on all fours, so his forelegs are strong; he only started walking up right with any regularity a few years before joing the crew. He is light brown with darker spots.
Personality: Duroni has a sense of simplistic irony that pervades his interactions with the world (er, universe). He believes that most people take themselves too seriously and get caught up in unecessary and confusing details. While he can remember and cook complicated meals, he is not interested in the details of any thing else-- a summary will do just fine. A summary confirms his belief that very little actually changes around him and that most problems aren't worth worrying about. This attitude might give him a laid-back look compared to others of his species. But don't let that fool you. He may have fewer altercations on his record than others, but that doesn't mean he doesn't loose his temper in a bad way on occassion. He doesn't like people talking down to him, poking fun at him, nor talking too fast and convoluted. He's not exactly the most outgoing and talkative fellow, either. Just let him do his work; he's a great worker when he has clear objectives, which he will meet along with other problems that arise along the way.
History: Duroni is the equivalent of a young adult (40). He was interested in space travel because otherwise his job as a cook is relatively boring, yet he did not want to try another field or take on vastly different responsibilities.

Name: Ellestegram (Goes by Ell)
Species: C'setan
Gender: Male
Position: Labor
Appearance: Dull grey skin, Grey eyes, 5' 11", Bald, Athletic build, Hunches and slouches quite a bit.
Personality: Ell is a hard worker and has a good focus on his duties. He has a good sense of humor. Ell is a friendly person and has good manners. He is very open to differesnt races and is excited about starting a life in the CDF.
History: Ell was born into one of the lowest classes in the C'setan caste sytem in 3034 TS. He lived with his father as a harvester. His parents were very old at the time he was born. Many thought it would be impossible for Ell' s mother, Ellegra, to even concieve at her age. Ellegra and her partner (Ell's father) Estram had dreamed of having a child for many years. They were finally granted their wish and had Ellestegram. Ellestegram's mother died giving him life, which is very uncommon among C'setan. Ell grew up and was raised by his father. Estram cared deeply for his son. Ell devoted his life to his father and their farm. He grew old enough to leave and start a family of his own, but could not bear to leave his father alone with such a heavy burden as the farm.Time passed and Ellestegram grew to become a strong male. Although he was physically able, he was not very educated. When his father passed away, Estram gave Ell the farm. Estram was all Ell had, so after he mourned the death of his father he decided to start a new path. Ellestsgram wanted to learn about all forms of life. He wished to grow and become more than just a low class farmer. Ell sold the farm and joined the Consortium Defense Force never to looking back.

Name: Garret Kim
Species: Terrans
Gender: Male
Position: Sciences
Appearance: Garret has the eternal poker baby face. His brown eyes are always deep in thought, with his thin black brows are arched above it. His cheeks are high, and seems wide thanks to his square chin. His skin is fair, yet the color of his cheek is often rosy. His head is usually nearly shaved, leaving only a few millimeters all around. He’s a little shorter than average, but his body has a wider structure. Though he is fit by academy standards, he’s a little chubby all around giving him a youthful appearance.
Personality: Garret keeps to himself a lot and is pretty quiet most of the time. He really has an aversion to socializing, and often likes to do things alone. There are times when he does show some emotion, but its kind of ironic that he's not very human most of the time. He's known to be lazy, but he's a hardworker when he needs to and usually only when he needs to.
History: Garret belongs to a wealthy family of medics and engineers, though his job doesn’t fall from the tree, he took sciences to separate himself. He never had the highest marks in his class, nor was often really awarded for his talents due to the fact that he was lazy. Garret finished through school with mediocre grades, and this perhaps was the reason why he has joined the navy. Garret also seems to harbor some animosity towards other species, this hatred seemed to have stem from his parent’s attitudes.

Name: Gorgra'di
Species: Gurodani
Position: Marines/Security
Appearance: Gorgra'di is a little larger than most Gurodani males. While most Gurodanis' second set of arms are used for small tasks, Gorgra'di has very muscular lower arms from years of combat. He is commonly seen in old armor.
Personality: Gorgra'di is an old warrior. He is a great warrior, a master. He is calmer than most Gurodani, and is considered an elder of his people. He is always doing something, be it training, working or maintaining something. His hobbies are training and improving his people's combat arts (martial arts, bladed weapons, armors). It is not uncommon for him to have sensors going off due to smoke in his room from a makeshift forge.
History: Gorgra'di is a veteran of the Gurodani-Velitor war, after the end of the war he found himself with little. The youth of his species wanting glory died fast at the end of the war and many that lived returned to there old lives. Gorgra'di, knowing only the art of combat open a school of the old combat arts. The same that rushed to war came to his school, but most were hotheaded. Few were interested in the old arts, seeking only to gather and boast of old deeds. After the CDF allowed Gurodani to join the force, the few students he had joined. After years of struggle he finally closed his school and went to the CDF, hoping that he could perhaps help in new battles, and train youth.
Gorgra'di can be found in his spare time practicing his combat arts. He is a master of Gurodani marshal arts and various bladed weapons. While capable of using more advanced weapons he prefers blade. "The blade is a personal weapon, it is an extension of yourself. You have to fight and know your enemy before you kill him, they knowing you. Killing your enemy with a blade you can see him die and let him know who has taken his life. Your enemy, knowing you, will tell those in the after life of your deeds."

History: Jack grew up the son of a Consortium officer. Name: Vexyr (Wex-ear)
Species: Velitor
Gender: Male
Position: Marine
Appearance: To others he might look very old considering his long feeder tentacles, though his people would always notice right away that he's relatively young. In Terran terms he'd be around 24-25 years old. His bony protrusion has been stopped short and been cracked and was severe enough cut short bone growth-today there are only scars and depressions to where it had been originally cracked, though it shows it's injury physically. His skin is has a slight leathery feel to it, and is a dark blue-ish gray color.
Personality: Though his past is full of war-he is a very kind young man. He will not excuse the Gurodani for what they did to his family because of his honor. Honor-it was one of the five values his father taught him they were: Unity, Strength, Honor, Respect, and - Forgiveness. He followes all but one of these today-Forgiveness. He is reliable and resilient, he'll stand through the toughest storms and weather the harshest of colds to stand by your side when you need him. He is very smart and a thinker-like most Velitors- but he doesn't think about his next invention, or how to Prove himself better than Gurodanis. He thinks in the now and questions his own reasons for doing things-in some respects he is very much like a Terran.
History: His bony protrusion had stopped when he was young because of the Gurodani-Velitro war. Once as a child his village was attacked, his mother and father scrambled to get him to a safe place-his mother who was carrying him was attacked and in an attempt to save her 2nd child she covered the body using hers like a shield. His father fought back the Gurodani, but during the attacks his mother's Spine cracked greaty and the force of some of the Gurodani's blow went through to the child-enough to crack his head. Though the Gurodani was fought off he came out badly injured and was scarred for life as for his mother-they left her in the street, reluctantly, for his mother died instantly . His father and brother were badly injured in the war and spent many days in the hospital- so he stayed with his other relatives until they were patched back up. Then a few days later they would leave again to fight. He hated the war and he hated the Gurodanis for hurting his loved ones. When the sudden "peace" treaty came his father and brother were so used to fighting, that they couldn't adjust, and so they died as a result. Vexyr didn't come out of the fight with a desire for revenge however, he was a smart young man, and so he began to hate war itself. Realising that he couldn't protect anyone he loved the way he was he became a marine. A couple years later, in the academy, he had a revelation-nothing comes without cost-and he was destroying those who only protected who and what they loved. He plans to pose this statement to the instructor at the academy soon...

CURRENT PLOTLINE

After the welcoming ceremony to the Academy, the new recruits scoured the halls to find rooms for themselves. After a good while, most of the recruits had found rooms, and new roommates. Zach settled in a room with Garret Kim, who kept to himself. Sooner after, Duun Ka'an arrived and joined the two.

Meanwhile, Raisha "Giz" Valen settled in with Scarlet Micajah, and both left to get something to eat in the mess hall, where a Gurodani named Durino expected to get a meal. The C'setan Ellestegram anxiously waited for roommates of his own, and was answered by Vexyr, a Velitor with a sardonic sense of humor. The pair's awkward introduction was interrupted, luckily, it seemed, by Sylvester Erra, an ex-crewman who had been demoted and sent back to the Academy.

Elsewhere, just having docked the CDF Argus, Captain Uriel Raiken headed to his quarters and fell asleep from exhaustion. Upon awaking, he was attacked by a would-be assassin, but struggled to save his own life. However, he had been informed by security that the assailant had an accomplice, so the entire Academy was shut down and all recruits ordered to their rooms.

After a bit of pandemonium, many recruits are forced into rooms that aren't theirs. Giz and Duroni are both shoved into the room with Erra, Ellestegram, and Vexyr. They share awkward introductions, but are interrupted by a stranger wearing a lieutenant's uniform.

Jack Mortose, a new engineering recruit, worked on a faulty power transfer station in his room when a squad of marines barges in and hits him with a sonic grenade. He reels, and the marines move in, hitting him with a tranquilizer before taking him away to an interrogation room. As he is interrogated, Captain Raiken enters the room to question him, and they discover that he is not one of the suspects after all. He is sent back to his room under guard by Cadet Shaffer, one of the marines who had participated in his capture. Raiken stormed to the security headquarters and began the search for the assassins again himself.

The lieutenant who walked in the room full of recruits turned out to be either an imposter or a traitor. Unfortunately, he was not the only one. Apparently Erra had been in on it the entire time, and he joined his partner and locked the door. They began binding the recruits, and decided that they would take Raisha as a hostage, while the lieutenant would kill the rest.

Shaffer stayed in the room with Jack and looked around curiously. As he did, the schematics Jack had lying on a table caught his eye. One of them showed several service tunnels that were behind the walls of the students' quarters. An idea hit him; the suspects might be using the service tunnels to escape the facility. He called his hunch in to headquarters and Captain Raiken hurried toward one of the entrances hoping to find the criminals.

Meanwhile, Erra had already entered the tunnel system, taking Raisha with him. The lieutenant had stayed behind to kill the remaining recruits. Jack took the law into his own hands and he and Shaffer ran toward the nearest room with access to the service tunnels. It just so happened that he and Raiken ended up at the same room, and Raiken went in. Luckily, Raiken had arrived before the lieutenant had finished off the recruits. Raiken disposed of the man, and the recruits were set free.

However, Erra was still on the loose. As he dragged Raisha through the dark tunnels, she attempted to escape, but was quickly recaptured. They had been walking for over ten minutes, and Erra became worried that something had happened to his partner. Fearing the worst, Erra changed his course to retrieve the explosives that he and the dead lieutenant had been planning to use.

Back in the recruits' quarters, Duroni mentioned that Raisha was gone, and Raiken quickly discovered that at least one of the suspects had escaped already. He sent the marines into the tunnels to search for them. As the marines left, Jack came into the room and proposed an idea to find the suspects in the tunnels. Using thermal sensors, he managed to locate them. Raiken spent no time getting the group together. He decided to take Jack and the other recruits along, so that he could watch over them and they could provide extra hands.

In the other room containing a hatch to the service tunnels, an old Gurodani named Gorgra'di sat and meditated through the stations' alarms. He sat there until a team of marines led by Lt. JG Mordoy stormed in and demanded he give them his identification. Gorgra'di did so, and the information was verified. Mordoy apologized and introduced himself and the other two marines as Cadets Faoler and Pan'nadeil. They found out that Gorgra'di was a veteran of the Gurodani-Velitor conflict. The marines headed into the tunnels, but before he left, Mordoy asked Gorgra'di if he'd come along. Gorgra'di accepted and the four began searching the tunnels. After a while, they heard voices in the distance, and they moved in to find them.

Erra had dragged the girl down the tunnels until he arrived at a storage bay where the explosives were hidden. He forced her to search through a pile of supplies for the bag containing the bombs, and when she tried to stall, he pulled her hair and shoved her down. He found the bag himself and made his way back through the tunnels with her.

Raiken's party began to make their way down the tunnels when Jack came up with another idea. He shut all the bulkheads in the service tunnels, trapping the suspects, or at least slowing them down. After he did, Raiken and the others made their way through the tunnels, opening up bulkheads as they came to them.

Not only Erra had been trapped by the bulkheads. Mordoy's mob was stopped and Faoler nearly smashed as a bulkhead dropped right in front of him. They called in their plight to Raiken, who told them to reopen the bulkheads and continue the search. Pan began to open their door.

Erra was shocked when the bulkhead blocking him began to open. He hid, fearing that the marines had found him. However, he heard a familiar voice, and found six of his comrades standing before him. He quickly told them the situation, and they rushed off down the corridor.

Mordoy's group found nothing on the other side. They were just about to open the next door, when a bulkhead to their right opened up. It revealed none other than Captain Raiken and the five others who were with him. As soon as Mordoy reported his findings, they opened up the next door. On the other side they found the open storage bay. Mordoy established that there was only one way that the suspects could have left, and Jack determined that it led to a docking bay. The very docking bay that the Argus, Raiken's vessel, was docked in.

THE SOUND OF the bell filled the massive chamber with a ululation that would mean the beginning of the new year for the throngs of new recruits in the Academy. As the bell hushed everyone to silence, a well-dressed man made his way to the podium atop the enormous gilded altar that depicted a magnificent angel guiding an fleet of ships out into space. An admiral was introducing him as he continued his ascent. His name was Kreszch, a Fleet Admiral who had been invited to the reception ceremony of the new recruits. After a few moments of silence, he reached the podium and adjusted his collar's clasp before he spoke.

"Thank you," Kreszch began, filling the hall with a vox-enhanced echo. "It is a pleasure to be here. Thank you Admiral Palder for the introduction and thank you also for inviting me to be here today to speak at this wonderful event. To Provost Elster, Captain Herron, Dr. Renok, faculty, and
staff of the Pegasus Naval Academy, distinguished guests, friends of this institution and most importantly, to those recruits who are set to graduate this year. Good day.

"This is an important ceremony to this institution and an important ceremony for me. So I wouldn't have missed it for anything. See, I started here and so I will always have a special affection for this place. And right here in this very hall I was an officer candidate, like you, eager to begin my duties and ready to prove myself. And that is why you are here and that is what we will teach you here. A place where knowledge increases, and that of course is the whole purpose of this institution. I do especially appreciate days like today when we celebrate the fulfillment of shared promises.

"And what does that mean? Well, I've come to believe in something that I call covenant leadership, and it is about the promises that we make to each other and it is about the promises that institutions make to the people who are in the institution. And I'm taken by the fact that when young men and women, promise to support and defend the Consortium, it's important for us to remember that when our young people make a promise like that, that we promise something in return. And in the case of this institution, this is part of the promise that we make, to provide every opportunity for individuals in our institution to grow and develop and to help them achieve their goals. We have opened the door to your new life, and now it is time to cross the threshold.

"You all have had doors open for you and you will be opening countless doors in the future through the shear force of ideas. The most basic of our beliefs about people is this: there should be no borders between knowledge and opportunity, and as you go out and lead you must see to that. We must use all of our talents and play to all of our strengths to win this war for ideas.

"I believe the truth underpinning our beliefs will make us victorious, and you as you leave, hold the power of those beliefs in your hands and in your actions as you leave. This prestigious facility has invested in you. It's what you give in return now that matters most, and that is what service is all about. The world now places upon your shoulders our most treasured hopes and our most earnest cares and I ask you not to ever forget that.

"I especially want the keepers of this great institution, the faculty and staff here at Pegasus, and every student in this audience to know how much I appreciate what you are doing for our federation and to grow our people for the future. And I thank you for the opportunity to visit with the likes of you. This is your day and I am honored to be part of it.

"And lastly, this is so important because this group brings a rich perspective to the officer corps that can only be achieved through diversity. And I want you to know that I am proud that you bring that into our services.

"And so I close with this. I wish you every success and may the gods bless and keep you all, and I congratulate you as you are received into this magnificent Academy and strive to make the universe a better place."

With that, the entire chamber was consumed in the din of applause. The audience rose in standing ovation, and remained there. The new officer candidates were excited to be there. This hour changed their lives forever; beginning their lives as an officer, and ending their times as a civilian. It took nearly a minute for the crowd to calm, and as it did members of the faculty told the new students to exit the hall and find their new quarters.

This was the destiny they had travelled so far to reach.

Garret applauded half-heartedly, with his hands barely making any sound from the roar of the crowd. No one probably noticed it anyways, and he didn’t really care if anyone did. He really had little love for this job, since he joined the navy and the sciences department to spite his parents. It doesn’t mean that Garret wasn’t capable of being a science officer; this young recruit had the marks to prove that he could be one of the best to graduate from the academy.

The crowd began filing out of the doors, and most of them did move in herds. The other students chatted among themselves while the others came up to the faculty for a chat, and a proper introduction. The Family Kim did know some of the faculty since they’re known in the medical field, but Garret decided to stay away from anything related to his family as much as he can. With his hands tucked in his pockets, and head tilted slightly forward, he walked through the crowd without making any sort of eye contact with anyone.

He knew the basic layout of the Academy since he has gone here many times with his family, to visit his parent’s friends or some of his relatives embedded through out the navy. It was a second home to him, and he wished that it was to be his home. He was dreading the fact that he was going to share his living quarters with others. He mumbled his thoughts out loud as he thought of being roommates with the other species.

He hoped he didn’t have to deal with them too much.

Applauding with enthusiasm, it had always been Zach's dream to be enlisted in the Pegasus Naval Academy. His father, and grandfather, had both graduated from this academy and Zach felt overjoyed to be part of the family tradition.

Walking through the doors, many of the students looked excited and eager to start their training right away, however some appeared to be nervous or even reluctant to be there. Following the crowd, Zach had no idea which direction the Recruit's quarters were located, and he had no intention on getting lost on the very first day. Soon however, the crowd began to filter out, as many of the students began to go their own way. Beginning to get worried, Zach laughed at himself, realizing that his anxiety was getting the better of him, causing every little thing to seem more important than it really was. Calming down a little, he continued to follow a small group of students hoping that unlike him, they knew their way around.

Ell had never known what it felt like to be a part of something this grand scale. He looked at all the hopeful faces of the other recruits most of which seemed to share the same feelings..

Ell was one of the last to leave the massive chamber. He saw the other recuits chatting with one another. Most were terran and a few seemed to know eachother quite well. Ellestegram had not seen many other C'setan and those that he had seen were clearly of a higher class and didn't spare him a second glance. This didn't hurt Ell in the slightest. In fact the only thing that worried him was that he didn't know anyone at all. Then he realized something.

He was supposed to have room mates in the living quarters. Ell headed toward his specified room knowing where it was since he had taken a tour of the station shortly after his arrival. He smiled to himself and realized he was home.

Scarlet listened intently as the man had spoken to her and all of the other recruits. Why she had wanted this for herself she did not realy know, though it however...did seem very right. The entire thing captavated her and was for once very eager to begin somthing other than her art. A place upon this team as medical personel. It just captavated her in some way that she could not seem to place her finger on.

As the crowd came to a hult and they began to get up to dispearce into their new quarters she let outa soft sigh. The sigh was both of relief and happiness, why did she sigh for that reason? she had no idea and it would seem it wouldn't be of any importance to ponder over either. Pushing back the strands of silky silvery-purple hair. In her left hand she carried a small bag full of a few belongings that she did not want to leave her side at the moment.

As she looked around she saw the many faces of whom would soon be the poeple she would be with for quit some time. She had heard for her brother as he had been part of the very same fource she was now in the academy for. Though had been injured and sent home. He had said being with the poeple he had developed almost a close family relationship with them. In a way she didn't want that to happen, then again she knew she would soon enough yern for it if she did not receive it. Scarlet was a bit strange like that, being a bit indecisive.

Waling around she came to a room and looked around. It was going to be her living quarters for quit some time and she figured she should start to make herself at home in it. If not there would be no way for her to get an ounce of sleep.

Garret watched as the flow of students filtered through and into their rooms, some continued on down to the corridors to the mess hall and to see more of the academy. He reached the room and found that it was not the most comfortable of places, and even reminded him of a brig than a room. There really wasn’t a lot of space to do things but he didn’t really mind since he did choose to join the navy and has to deal with cramp spaces until he rises in the ranks.

He began settling into his place, preparing his study desk and his bed. His area of the room seemed empty, especially from the lack of pictures of his family or the lack of pictures in general. All he had were books, mostly those dealing with basic science, but had a few novels here and there.

At times, he would stop and still found it a bit amazing that he was actually on a space station and was going to be in space for nearly the remainder of his life. He gave a slight sigh and shrugged it off as he continued to decorate his area with graphs, maps, and even a stellar map from the terrain home world.

NRPG: It’s fine if you two are my roomies, and I’m not sure how big the room is or what it looks like really, haha. I was thinking, maybe two bunk beds and desks for each one.

Opening yet another door, Zach sighed as the persons inside told him the room was full. This was the third room Zach found to be full, he began wondering if he was doomed to sleep on the shiny, metallic floor. Walking into yet another room, Zach found it to be occupied by only one person.

Sighing with relief, Zach put his luggage down on the nearest bed. He looked around and found that the room was rather empty and dull. Looking at the other person in the room Zach sighed and said,"pretty dull in here eh?"

NRPG: That sounds fine, as long as i get a bottom bunk! I found a room, and guess who's in it? (Garret Kim)

Raisha had clapped with all her other fellow recruits. Exited the hall with her fellow recruits. Yet she still felt out of place with everyone else. It was something she figured would fade away once she found her room and possible roommates too. Raisha drifted around among the many people who crowded that room outside the hall and though listening to what people said she found her way to where the recruit sleepingquarters were found.

"Somewhere around here..." Giz looked back and forth from oneside of the hallway to the other counting the numbers that marked the doors as she walked by them. "Bingo!" Raisha stopped infront of the door with too many numbers to count. This place is way too big Giz thought as she oppened the door

Plain, dull, metallic were the first words to come to mind. Raisha looked around seeing that another recruit was in the room already. "Hello, how are you?" Raisha moved over to an unoccupied bed dropping her stuff on it

Scarlet already sat upon her bed. The room had three full beds. One by the window on the far wall, one on the left wall, and one on the right where Scarlet sat. Her back had been to the door as she was pulling out a book from one of the small bags. Looking the woman who had just walked in and spoken to her over a moment. Her face did not change and remained emotionless as she rose and gave a slight nod.

"Hello..." She paused a moment then finnished her sentence in the same soft, cold voice she had greeted her with, "...I am very well, and as for yourself?" She asked gently, though her tone still soft and a bit cold sounding.

Vexyr was one of those mixed in with the crowd who left the Chamber, yet he still couldn't find a decent room. This one had no room, the other was too small, and this one was too noisy. Though there were rows and rows of dorms and he still couldn't find a single one that fit him. He went down to each room repeatedly knocking on the door and repeatedly getting turned away.

After about his 15th room he started to get annoyed and felt like just running down the hallway and knocking on each door in succession just to mock them. He kept on going though, yet he knocked progressively harder almost slamming into the doors full blast. After each one he sighed for the waste of his expended energy and went onto the next door. He watched others pass him with a certain vibrance that just made him even more tired. It wasn't that long before he actually got a room-he just made a big deal of it and drew it on longer.

When he finally got to his room he knocked on the door and heard a grunt. He brushed it off as nothing and waited for the thing on the other side of the door to open it up for him. The door squeaked open and he sat there surveying the man in front of him.

"A little overwhelmed, I guess I never knew just how big this place really was," Raisha looked away from the other Terran unzipping her bag as she did so. She had brought very few personal items with her. Most dating back to when she went by Giz, not Raisha Vallen. Raisha pulled out the first object - a small doll relating to a traditional Rek' Kiri good fortune bringing figure. Giz gently set the doll on the narrow space that served as a window sill. She could at least look out and watch the docking ships from her bed when they called lights out.

"Oh, I forgot. I'm Raisha Vallen, what's your name?" Raisha turned back to the other woman in the room extending out a hand.

Hopefully the two Terrans would get along with no trouble. Giz wasn't looking forward to making any enemies while at Pegasus Orbital. Something that always seemed an overly optimistic view to her, not all people would be glad to make friends and honestly Raisha knew she had to make allies, not really true friends, with her fellow recruits if she didn't want trouble her first days as a recruit.

Scarlet gave a gentle smile to her and nodded.

"Nice to meet you Miss Vallen." She said in a sweet, soft tone. Picking up again as she shook Raisha's hand, "My name is Scarlet Micajah, Some tend to refer to me as Cage though." Scarlet sat on the bed after taking back her hand and grabbed onto the pillow on the bed hugging it to her stomache tightly.
