That being said, anything that mana has his hands in is bound for failure... 3nodding So I'm not surprised at all that this band broke up in the slightest. xp

I love Schwarz Stein so much!!!! I was really pissed when they broke up, right when they were hitting there high too!!!! Kaya was becoming so much more talented with his voice and Hora was becoming a great musician.

I must say I love every song Schwarz Stein ever put out. And I fell in love with their New Vogue Children outfits. They are so dark and awsome.

But as for Schwarz Stein as a band... they should have never broke up, and either way they remain my second favorite Jrock band (and thats saing A LOT because I love sooo much Jrock) seconded only by Malice Mizer.

Even though schwarz stein broke up they have made some kick a** songs that i will listen to the day i die. go kaya! go hora!

I loved Schwarz Stein's music. Though I would have to say that Malice Mizer and Schwarz Stein dont really sound alike. And Moi dix Mois doesnt sound very malice mizer either. But the music kicks arse either way<3

Schwarz Stein had potential... somewhat.
Then they put out New Vogue Children, which is a bunch of songs that all sound alike. And they wouldn't stop using the same goddamned trance beat for all the songs. stressed

i think new vogue children was pretty godd. better than artificial hallucination anyway. i found artificial hallucination more repetitive than new vogue children. at least there was more variety in that one. hallucination felt like a rushed job.

but i did like schwarz stein a lot. trance needs good deep vocals on top to make it listenable. but imo velvet eden was better than schwarz stein. where are you dada? come back!

Personally I loved both Artificial Hallucination and New Vogue Children.

Also, their two singles, Perfect Garden and Current are excellent works.

I really think the darkness and deepness of Kaya's voice blended so well with Hora synthasizer music.

And to me each song form all their relieases was very different. You just need to listen very close and every song has its own rythm and beat.

Or at least thats what I herd, beeing a die hard Schwarz Stein fan.

Where did they go after they broke up? I like listening to their music at night sometimes. Or in the day. Now that I think of it, I prefer to listen to them in the day. 3nodding stressed

I love Schwarz Stein. heart 3nodding I'd been wanting to hear them for a long time, and I finally had the chance to when Morgen played them on her radio show. I was -much- more impressed than I thought I would be. I mean, I thought I would like them, but I absolutely -love- them. ^^

OMG - *worships Schwarz Stein*

I can't believe they broke up! Everything they did as a band was so amazing! Kaya is one of the prettiest vocalists ever - and his voice is to die for!

New vogue children was by far my favorite release of theirs. fester love is like........ what an orgasm sounds like. SOOOOOOOO amazing!

It totally pisses me off that they had to disband, like so many other indies bands out there...... I just wish Kaya would hurry up and join a band on Midi:Nette asap! He was born to sing.

Has anyone heard any of Kaya(a.k.a. Hime)'s work with ISOLA, the band he was in before Schwarz Stein? Really cool indies-type stuff. Totally worth checking out - it's cool to hear how his voice evolved from ISOLA, to the Rudolf Steiner demotapes, and finally to Schwarz Stein...
