I know this is normally Twist's topic. But in light of the rising tension in C&T, we need one.
Subject: Mods
Our mods do a thankless and merciless job, and we know it. But right now, the workload facing them is quite simply more than humanly possible to cope with. Once again, we need more mods.
Subject: C&T Guide forum
A number of guides have been written, and are slowly migrating to the bottom of the forum, which really deserve a home. However, with the number of active mods we have, another subforum may be an additional strain we should not impose.
Subject: Rules Re-write
Mr. Madman has a proposed rules re-write, edited for clarity and quotability. Is anyone willing to review/edit/critique it, and are mods willing to approve it?
Subject: Guides Wiki
Dexen brought up the subjet of a guides wiki as an alternative to a guides forum, or sticky. Discuss.
Thoughts, comments, criticism, additional items to discuss?
Edit I: Added rules re-write.
Edit II: Added guides wiki, and Ramiel's admonition about mod/helper nominations.

I think it's time we declare a state of emergency in the C&T. Things are getting out of hand out there. We have four mods worth of turf to patrol, and only half an active mod to patrol it.
I'm well aware that modding is a burnout job. I've seen C&T go through a few of them in my year-and-a-half, and those who didn't burn completely out got promoted up and out of our little corner. I have nothing but respect for the people who have done and continue to do this job, but the fact still stands that C&T may be staffed on paper, but it is understaffed in reality. Black Ex's topic with the flamewar is a perfect example. There's at least two flamewars, five topics with illegal content, and who knows how many minor rules violations out there.
I don't know who needs to be contacted, and who needs to talk to who, but I know that someone needs to tell the admins that we need more mods. The regs try their hardest to keep the peace, but it's hard to do without a badge. Can we get someone to throw us a bone, please?

The last C&T State Of The Union was 6 months ago. Shouldn't a new one be made?

As for nominating helpers, knock it off. It's rather redundant. We(the mods) know who the regs are, and will consider them all, so your nominations are extra useless.
