Sorry, everyone, orders are closed once again. Why? Because this is what is going on in my life:

o. a boyfriend that I desire to spend time with every moment he's not absent
o. a boyfriend who needs some support right now, 'cause he's getting things all set for college

o. pit orchestra for Anything Goes

o. getting my writing back on track
o. toss eating and sleeping in there somewhere
o. national solo & ensemble
o. two friends who recently broke up with their girlfriends of 2+ years, and one of those girlfriends who's still my friend

Hello and welcome to Gaian Mood Jewels, Gaia's first shop to allow you to express you feelings through changable jewels. Ranging from 50 to 100 gold, these jewels let you express yourself through 12 different colors and 11 designs. Please read entire third post before ordering, and go through the whole first page before asking a question.

The Gaian Mood Jewels shop will be moved to a new board, run by my mule account, RinseNSpit. This is so that I can keep this account as my main account without having it be bothered by GMJ business. As I will probably only want to do work on the weekend, and I don't want to be overrun by orders, orders will no longer be posted. They will actually be PM'd. Why? Because when my inbox is full, that's the end of it. When I want to turn off PM's, that's the end of it. It's kind of like art shops that have slots that can be opened or closed, only I don't actually have to do anything to close them.

The plus side of this is that I will hold a weekly bump contest with a prize of at least 1,000 gold. Not to shabby, neh? Need to give you guys SOMETHING to post.

I appreciate everyone who has ordered from GMJ in the past two years; everyone who posted their encouragement, compliments, or criticism; everyone who told me when they found someone copying this shop, and even the people who copied merely because it amused the crap outta me. I've moved and redone the shop before, and I know you guys will bear with me.

Ordering

To order a Gaian Mood Jewel, follow the steps below.

1) Fill out the below order form and PM it to me. If you post it here, I won't fill it. I know this is a change from the old board. I'm sorry.

[size=9][i]After sending this message, I will send RinseNSpit a trade for the amount of gold listed in the 'total' area. I realize that if I do not send a trade as soon as possible, RinseNSpit is under no obligation to send my jewel or tell me why she hasn't.[/i][/size]

2) Send a trade to me (RinseNSpit) for the correct amount of gold. Do this as soon as possible. Note that the price of a jewel includes all the colors. If you put the type of jewel you're ordering in the trade title, it's double insurance that I will send your jewel.

3) Make sure your PMs are publically enabled. You can do this by going to My Gaia > My Page > Mail. Set 'receive private messages' to yes.

4) Once I see your order (I only fill orders on weekends, remember), I will send you the code for your jewels and confirm your trade.

5) You confirm the trade on your end and enjoy your new jewels.

But what if your PMs are full or closed?
That means orders are closed for now. I can only take so many at a time. I fill them on weekends, and that's when my inbox will be cleared. Sending your order on Sunday or Monday is your best bet to get a jewel.

And remember... DON'T FREAKIN' POST YOUR ORDER IN THE THREAD. It's just about the dumbest thing you can do.

FAQ

My jewel isn't working; what do I do?
All the codes I send have been tested and do work, so the problem is not on my end. If you don't specify what isn't working, I can't help you and will ignore your question.
If your jewel isn't changing colors, please realize that you have to change the IMAGE, not the Current Mood. Also realize that tired/hungry and happy/relaxed can look very similar.

I lost the jewel codes; can I get them back?
Yes--just PM me with proof you had it (if you still have one code, just send me that), and I'll send you the codes.

Do I have to host these?
No. My dad got me unlimited bandwith on my photobucket account, so I can independently host these. Thanks for offering, though.

How much is one jewel with all colors?
The posted price. You receive all colors with your order; you do not have to purchase them individually.

Do these really change with your mood?
No; you have to manually change them to suit your mood.

Your PMs are full!
That means, orders are closed! Try again on the weekend.

You may think that with that giant announcement in the thread, people wouldn't post their orders. But they do. I'm getting a little tired of saying that text over and over. So what I want is a picture of it!

This is the contest. Make a sign or image that says 'DON'T FREAKIN' POST YOUR ORDER IN THE THREAD' on it. It can be a weird picture you found somewhere (make sure you have permission to use it) with text added in paint, or a piece of original artwork, or a photographed sign. It just has to be an image with that text.

You may make as many as you like.

Images should be PM'd to me, preferably in link form. If my PMs are full, you can try posting them, but messaging them to me is the only way I can GUARANTEE I'll see them.

Prizes? Yes, there are some. Here they are:

THE PERSON WHO MAKES THE SIGN I DECIDE TO USE GETS 7k.
People who make really awesome signs get 500 gold.

Quest of the Week

I cruise the Charity boards a lot, and I've seen what makes an okay quest and what makes an outstanding one. If I think I see an outstanding quest, I'll put it here, and it'll stay up for a week! The quest will receive a donation from myself (Milorganite), and customers of GMJ are encouraged to check it out!
