"Welcome to the ~Kitten of Doom~ pet shop!" says an energetic girl with long purple hair as you step into what was once an abandoned library. "I'm so glad you decided to visit us. Let me show you around the shop!" The girl then takes you on a short tour of the shop.

UPDATES:
This used to also be an art shop, but I've decided that it was too much work and so it is now only a pet shop. If you still would like art from me, you'll have to go to my gallery on DA and pay real money for some.

Kitten one day stumbled upon a huge library in her exploration of the Gaia world. It was full of colorful, large books. This made Kitten so happy since she loved reading. She immediately grabbed the nearest book and opened it, but when she did she noticed something odd. All the pages were blank! Kitten put down the book and tried another one. It was the same! She then looked at the front of these books. There was a circle on the front with a black cat in the circle. Every book she looked at was the same way, the only difference being the colors of the covers. Kitten was puzzled as to why there was an old library full of blank books. She took one book home to study and try to solve this mystery. A week went by and Kitten was no nearer an answer about how the books worked. She picked up the book, sighing and opening it as usual it was blank, but then the book began to glow with a blue light and a little furball of a creature popped out! It looked almost cat like. It looked up at her with it's huge blue eyes. "Yi!" It exclaimed happily floating up and nuzzling her cheek as best a tiny furball could. Kitten wondered if with owners all the books would do this, she wanted to share these adorable little creatures with Gaia. So she went back to the old library and spent another two weeks fixing it into a pet shop. Finally it was ready to open. "Isn't it great, Zan?" Zan was the name she had given her little pet. She had decided to call the whole race kiblings . But when she turned around Zan wasn't there, only his book. She picked it up opening in to surprisingly see words written in it. It seemed to be a record of Zan's life with her. Kitten looked around for Zan and saw a small cat-child crawl from under a nearby pile of books. "Hi Kitten!" it greeted her happily, and she realized that Zan had grown yet again!

How can I get a pet?
Easy. Just fill out an order form and send it to me. If you would like a special or custom Kibling I can be bribed, other than that you will have to wait for an event.

Yes you can. The rp thread is here

Do I have to roleplay my Kibling?
No, I'm not forcing you to but it would be nice. You may also earn a free pen or collar by rping.

Will you be selling any other pets?
Yes, coming soon are little creatures called "Lil' Reapie " affectionately named and designed by my boyfriend.

When will Lil' Reapie be available?
As soon as I figure out some minor details with him. I'm still new to the pet scene. ^^

Do Kiblings breed? Reapies?
Kiblings do breed but not in a normal way. When you want your Kibling to have babies you must find it a partner which will be it's life partner and the two owners may split the price to buy a pen. You MUST have a pen to breed your Kinblings and your Kiblings MUST be in their Final Stage. The two Kiblings will then use magic to have the pen draw up new books. There are 5 books to one pen. The books' colors and any spots,etc will be decided by the traits of the parents.
Reapies do not breed.

Do Kibling couples have to be male/female?
No they don't. Since Kiblings don't mate in a sexual way the couples may be male/male or female/female too.

Can I be a colorist or lineartist?
Sure, I could use some help. PM me some samples and what you'd like to do here. We can work out sale and payment plans through PMs.

NOTE IGNORE THE WORD "FABLES" ON THE PICS. ALL FUTURE PETS WILL HAVE KIBLING WRITTEN ON IT.

These pets are called Kiblings. Why? Because Fables was already taken.

Stage 1- The Book

This is the shortest stage of Kiblings' lives, only lasting for about a week. In this stage your pet has not yet emerged, its gender and date of birth (dob) will be blank. Books must have an owner before they will grow. The love and attention of the owner makes then want to come out.

Stage 2 - Baby Kibling

This stage will last for two weeks. Your Kibling has been born! It's gender and d.o.b. will be filled in. Females will glow pink and Males will glow blue.The Kibling is still learning about the world and is very vulnerable right now. You must take care of it very well. It cannot talk yet, only make "yi" noises and float around.

Stage 3-Final Stage

The final stage of the Kibling. They can talk and run around now, though they cannot float anymore. The females tend to be shy about they're new form at first, while males are curious and wish to explore. Males often forget to take their books with them while exploring. When it comes to mating, females will tend to giggle alot and blush. Males tend to be outgoing and obvious with their affections.

Kiblings can come in just about any color you wish. But I'll post up some colors to choose from.

Yellow
Purple
White and more.

Customize your Kibling more by adding stripes or spots!

BREEDING CORNER:

Kiblings mate for life and must be stage 3 with at least one owner having a breeking pen. Breeding pens can be purchased or won through events, and roleplaying for a certain amount of time. When you have found your life partner and if you have a breeding pen, let me know. Each breeding will yield up to 5 new books. Dice will be rolled to determine the gender of each baby. A new kibling's appearance will be based on the parents, or in some case may be random. All newborns will be placed here in the breeding corner. Parents may keep one book to either keep or sell as they see fit. (No, I'm not asking any profit if it is sold. wink )
