Nyoka eyes the cane as it comes dangerously close to her date's wing. But, she shrugs, and takes Mortimer's wrist in her hand, and then Aylana's.

"Alright, here goes nothing. . . ." she says, smiling back at them as her tail pushes her skirt out of her way.

She steps forward to the third door, and uses her tail to open it. Taking a breath, she walks inside.

The room inside looks like another part of the library. Just big bookshelves well-stocked all up and down the walls. There appears to be no exit, and there aren't any windows either.

As soon as the door closes, it locks and the sounds from the library suddenly get EXTREMELY faint - as though you're hearing them from *way* further away than just one room.

Squeezing her sister's hand she turns looking at Naolin. She didn't want him to be left behind. Turning back to look at the third door she follows after Nyoka keeping herself alert.

Nao allowed them to drag him into the door chosen without too much of a cringe at any female touch that may happen. When they were in, he pulled away and put a bit of distance from everyone else, eyeing their surroundings suspiciously. The lack of windows, and thus sunlight, made him somewhat uneasy. "Now what?" He asked, looking over to the rest of his team.

"Door number three's always the best door, always!" He spouted out as he headed through, looking about. It was true, the Fa'e watched Let's Make a Deal, all the old episodes. Door number three almost always had the fancy cars. But now he was faced with a stuffy room filled with books.

"Aw crap. This sucks." Morty muttered as he yanked a book off of the shelf, flipping through the pages. Stupid books, he much perferred text files on computers. He could just Ctrl F and find what he wanted. This was so much harder.

The book is a totally boring tome on herbal medicine. Yawn. It smells like old leaves, too.

As the pages turn, a sprig of dried catnip falls out. It's really fragrant.

Nyoka frowns as she looks around, her nose wrinkling.

"Well, hell. Now what?" she mutters, slithering toward a bookshelf, and running her gold talon over the spines of the books.

She looks back at her three companions. Aylana and Naolin seem to be looking around, while Morty already has a book out. Shrugging, she pulls one out of the shelf, as well, and starts to flip through it. She doesn't notice the sprig of herb fall out of it.

A sprig of incredibly... pungent... plant falls out of Nyoka's book, which turns out to be about poisonous plants of the jungle. It's REALLY rank.

Aylana eyes Morty for a moment she shook her head as she looked around the library. Deciding to wander to the other side she runs her fingers lightly over some of the book before pulling one out also.

Coughing she covers her nose with one hand as the book remained in the other still closed.

They were trying to win a contest, and Morty had decided to... read?! Well ******** that, Nao was going to try and find a way OUT of this room. Looking up, his eyes scanned the ceiling, and then the remaining four walls.

The smell hit him as he was making his way across the room to try and find an exit on the far wall. He gagged instantly, and moved at a faster pace in the direction of away from Nyoka. Yuck.

Once reaching the other wall filled with, what a surprise, books. Maybe it was like in the movies? Ignoring the titles, the hummingbird started to pull out books two and three at a time. This reminded him of Mictlan, and he was starting to feel rather uneasy about this 'game.'

Morty stared at this sprig of god knows what that was in the book with a look of befuddlement on his face. It certaintly wasn't like any flower he'd ever seen before, and, upon further inspection, certaintly didn't smell like any. But... The Fa'e stared at this plant and promptly dropped the book holding the catnip and taking another whiff of it. Damned, that smelled... good... smelled like something he couldn't describe, it made him feel so... sexyhornyplayfulstoned all at once.

He rolled his head on his neck, smiling kind of dreamily as he glanced over to his companions. Just what did they think they were doing? God, they were so booorrriinnggggggg, they should just, you know, grooooooooove and stuff. A paw batted at Nyoka's shoulder and he remarked to her as if it was absolutely amazing, "Heeeyy, you know, you're wearing gold! That's so cool~" and followed it up by begining to purr. It was quite a deep rumble in his throat and chest, but before she should stop him she would find a 6'2 man nuzzling his face up against her shoulder.

As the books tumble to the floor, Naolin might spot what looks like a lever hidden behind one of them, though more leaves tumble out of the fallen books. Looks like this room was for herb study?

((*snork* Okay, I'll count the catnip as used. That wasn't actually what I'd intended for it, but hey. XD

Also, you CAN pick up objects and carry them with you. hint~))

Nyoka gags, and feels naucious. She bends forward, and uses the book to pick up the plant, closing it tightly, and holding onto it.

She is about to turn around, when she feels a paw on her shoulder, and her eyebrows wing up when she hears. . . . purring?! "Yes, I am wearing gold," she says, grabbing Mortimer's shoulders to push him back, gently, a little so she can face him again. She musses his hair a little, just thinking he might want a little attention or something. Even gives the spot behind his ear a little scritch.

As she is otherwise occupied, she turns and looks at the others. "Anything useful?" she asks.

Arching a brow at the way Morty was acting she shakes her head seeing all the herbs fall from the books as they ground. Bending down she lifts a few of them up looking them over.

Running her fingers carefully over them she looks up at the other two "What do you think? Should we take them?" she looks back down at what else was on the ground as far as herbs to see it she had missed anything.
